“Had a late lunch here yesterday. Everything was delicious. My husband had the turkey and smoked sausage with beans & baked potato. I had the burnt ends and pulled pork with corn and potato. It was fabulous. For a lunch time menu we had enough food left over for dinner. Our server was attentive. Everything was hot, the texas toast was very good. We will be back. A large variety of sauces to choice from As well.“

“I visited Shooters for the first time and was surprised by the amazing food. The portions are huge, so bring an appetite or order less. The waitress was great and saw to it that myself and my 17 friends were taken care of without ever messing up any orders! The whole group talked about the great-tasting food throughout the next day. “Best sandwich spot in Belleville, maybe the entire Metro East. Our favorite is the cajun turkey sub, which has just the right amount of spice. Ingredients are always fresh and yummy. A couple times they have been out of certain kinds of bread, but whatever kind of bread we get we end up liking. A great, locally owned and run deli! Friendly service and great food, and cheaper than the boring sandwich chains too!“
“Solid food. Great pulled pork and bbq sauce. Cornbread is dry, but good if you can appreciate it. Slaw has interesting foretaste and normal, vinegary after taste. Potato salad is solid. Fries are lighter and more pleasant than they appear. Solid grits and banana pudding. Excel soda fountain only (Ski, etc.). Worth the try!“

“I love Geos! I get a sampler boneless and try different flavors always enjoyed. They have quite a variety. My only complaint is it's hard to find a correct menu online, and sometimes their menu in person isn't updated. Like a sandwich they no longer carry.“

“I've never lived in IL but I do work in IL and have been around this area all my life. I used to eat at Big Mama's when they had a Belleville location and we carry out from the Washington Park location every now and then. Today I ordered the Snoot Tip Combo with spicy sauce. It's a full snoot and 1/2 lb of tips on top of two slices of white bread. The sauce is basically Maull's BBQ but spicier. It doesn't get more St. Louis than this folks! Anyway about once every year or two I'll order this. Today it hit the spot. I'm also a fan of the pulled pork which is my regular order. Don't skip the desserts here!“

The food has been famous for years, if you are down for a challenge, go there and order the big mama burger , it is the most massive thing that I have ever encountered, and it's always good! The atmosphere around the bar side , is always a dope vibe, if you are looking for a nostalgic good time, I suggest you go and place a visit.“
“We walked in on a Monday evening. Wait list was 30 mins, no problem. People coming in immediately seated. After 45 minutes I asked hostess where we were on list (#4). I asked why people were seated just walking in? Oh they went outside and called in and we have to seat them first. So if I would have gone outside and called in, we would have been seated right away? Yes! Very interesting.“
