“Had a taste for a ButterBurger from Culver's on Monday, November 20, 2023. Stopped by Culver's located at 2751 Rose St, Franklin Park, IL 60131. The staff greeted us as we entered the restaurant. Each of the staff members we encountered were very friendly, polite, and nice. We ordered the Double Deluxe ButterBurgers with Cheese Baskets. The basket meal includes crinkle cut fries and a drink. The burgers and crinkle cut fries were freshly made. The soda is self serve. Everything was delicious. We decided to dine in. The dining room was clean, the cup lids, ketchup, hand wipes, napkins and straws were adequately stocked. The friendly staff member Dave came out to the dining room to check on us a few times. We will definitely return to Culver's in Franklin Park, IL.“

The only two items that were less than ideal, the horrible acoustics (incredibly loud) and although it was too on my list to try, the chicken shawarma rolls were underwhelming. Even with those two items, the great service and food quality it's still worth the 5 star review. We sat upstairs, which very much appreciated, being out of the hustle and bustle of the downstairs. “I had the pork chop cooked medium well with broccolini. The chop was moist and flavorful with an apple/raisin sauce. Very good. Broccolini was fresh and crisp. I also had the Red Head cocktail; much like a Cosmopolitan. Very good with just enough vodka. Topped it off with brownie sundae. Definitely will be back. Highly recommended.“

The restaurant was full/noisy and the host did his best to accommodate us with a quiet location, a request we made through the app because of the hearing disability of my husband who is a Vietnam Veteran. The volume of the restaurant was still too loud for him: even with hearing aids conversing across a table that could have accommodated eight when we turned out to be only five was challenging, but the window location was the best option and we appreciated that the host did his best. I'm pointing out this situation because it is difficult to find a restaurant that ticks all the boxes: good food, good value, and good conversational ambience. “The first thing that I noticed about Amerikas was the super lively and bright ambiance. I went I on a Saturday night with my wife, so I wasn't surprised by all of the people dining and having a good time, and as I ate my dinner I definitely learned why. The decor is bright and fun. The walls are lined by mutuals, mostly yellow, with big splashes of color. I liked how then kept the lights on to keep the atmosphere bright and fun. The food was delicious too. My wife and ordered the pulpo, barbacoa, tacos (shrimp and pork shoulder), tostada de pescado, ceviche and the dragon fruit cheesecake for dessert. I enjoyed all of the dishes, my favorites were the barbacoa and the pulpo. The barbacoa was super flavorful and fell right off the bone, no knife was need. The pulpo was cooked to perfection and was tender and delicious. The risk with pulpo is that it can be chewy and tough, definitely not the case here. One note, the tostada for the tostada de pescado seem a bit too dry, but the flavor of fresh seafood made up for it. If you want a fun show with your food, order the ceviche, it comes out with a cool smoke effect. Overall, the service was fast and friendly, and the overall experience at the restaurant was enjoyable. While they don't have a parking lot, street parking is cheap (at least compared to Chicago) and plentiful. Amerikas is a must visit in Oak Park.“

Will definitely be back for more savory crepes and to try a sweet crepe. My one criticism is that despite eating in, our food was served on a paper plate and only plasticware was available. Eating a crepe with a plastic fork is a bit awkward. It would be nice if they had actual silverware when you're eating in.“
