Staff gave us extra small plates so Mom and I traded a little of our meats just yummmyyy. Went to the restroom very pretty, updated and clean. They played music videos definitely a vibe. Different kinds of seating in the dinning area. We sat at a booth. “I've lived in the area about 8 years now. When I first moved here, we gave this place a try. To be honest, I wasn't really impressed then. But I gave them a try again recently and wow! Idk if I'm just remembering the first time wrong, but this time around, the pizza was amazing. Great crust and perfect amount of toppings and cheese. The only honest gripe I've got is with the portion size of fries. On the website, it shows a big "to-go" container with fries, but the order I got was a small bag. They were good but would have liked more. Either way, the food was all delicious.“

Flavorful sauce. Mini panzerottis were fantastic. Seafood salad was finely chopped (unusual) and would of been better as chunky. Dinner was good. “Epic, memorable lunch. We ordered steaks, and they were perfectly prepared and grilled. The strip steak was a perfect medium as requested, and my filet mignon was a delicious medium rare. No gristle, very tender. Barry, our waiter was accommodating, efficient, and flawless. We had 2 special requests that he honored without blinking an eye. Barry's not your run of the mill waiter. He's entertaining and funny without interfering in conversations. From beginning to end, it was a textbook perfect dining experience.“

The only two items that were less than ideal, the horrible acoustics (incredibly loud) and although it was too on my list to try, the chicken shawarma rolls were underwhelming. Even with those two items, the great service and food quality it's still worth the 5 star review. We sat upstairs, which very much appreciated, being out of the hustle and bustle of the downstairs. My only complaint is that the food menu is a little limited; I would have expected more options. I had the salmon, which was very good, and paired with an appetizer of the crab cake. “My father introduced my family to Hagen’s 50 years ago. He would go fishing on Lake Michigan and bring his fish here to have it smoked. Hagen’s was a staple at our house during Lent. So nostalgic for my family and I. No one else compares to their fried shrimp and homemade cocktail sauce. Just stopped in today to get some. Was met with great service and given the same great quality of shrimp as always.“

My wife ordered the pappardelle al nonno and she liked it as well. Great atmosphere as well. Would recommend the high tables if you're on a date as they're a bit more tucked away.Parking: We went on a Saturday evening (6:30 reservation) and didn't have any issues finding parking. The levanta muertos has this Nayarit sauce that is silky and elegant and a delightfully complex.
