“We stopped at Pierce Tavern for lunch and had a great experience! The service was great throughout our visit and the wait staff were very attentive and friendly. A gentleman even came around with a beer tasting! The food was all delicious, we tried the cauliflower bites app, salad with goat cheese and brisket grilled cheese. Everything was so good! They have a large selection of cocktails, all which sound delicious, and a very extensive menu. It’s a fun place to stop at for drinks, dinner or lunch. We were very happy with our experience! Will definitely be back.“
“Delicious food: huge patty melt came with pasta salad also delicious! We also got an order of chicken fingers and they were sooo good! They were beer battered and the coleslaw was very good. “I was a little disappointed in my fries that came with my delicious chicken tenders!! My husband was a little disappointed with the fish fry where the batter was very hard. 2 times out of the 4 times I've been to Grill 89 I got delicious crispy hot fries.“
“I have been here a few times and always had great, friendly service. They have a huge menu that the variety to suit early anyone, including my vegetarian daughter. It all sounds delicious. I haven't had a bad order yet. And their beer selection is pretty broad as well and very competitively priced.“
“I had to get five stars because they’re the only restaurant that carries pure olive oil, even though there’s an Italian restaurant a half a block away. Disgusting. Most of the restaurants in Hinsdale used disgusting ingredients and then charge you as much as they possibly can ‼️‼️‼️?The only restaurant in town that actually has pure olive oil! What the heck is wrong with this town??I recommend Fullers, great staff, food is good, and at least you can get pure oil that doesn’t kill you if you’d like it ❤️ a little pricey“

We enjoyed our burgers & the wings were great.Only con is that the women’s bathroom smelled horrible. It appeared to be clean, but the smell was really bad. “I had had a day and decided to stop into this bar to have a drink under some sun. Wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted and told the bartender Hannah to give me something fruity. She said I got you and made me an absolutely delicious vodka with other mixes drink. It was exactly what I needed. The drink was just as refreshing as being able to walk into a place distraught and be immediately met with comfort and a kind engaging personality. She definitely makes this bar what it is and I will be returning on her next shift.“

“I've been here a couple times, the food is always good. But I think what makes this place stand out to me is the level of service. The wait staff is always attentive and constantly come back to check on you, not in an annoying way, but they have it down to a science it seems. They are never pushy and always friendly. It's a great place for you to be able to hang out with a few friends and grab a drink and a good meal.“

“I didn't read the reviews beforehand, probably wouldn't have tried it. We walked in, the A/C was out so we decided to eat outside (also because the place had that carpet soaked whiskey aroma). There was only another couple in the place too. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and paired it with a Dos Equis. I started to read the reviews and then got nervous with all the 1 stars. The sandwich arrived and all the bad reviews went out the window. This was a really good Cuban! No deli sliced ham, it was a good chunk of ham in a delicious well pressed bread. The fries were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and light and fluffy inside. 5 stars for the food, 3 stars for the atmosphere.“

While the menu is not very large I asked if they had lengua, they did not. But the bartender offered a dish that was made for the staff, she called it Trumpbo? Translates to mouth of pig? Im sure im butchering this.. but my GOD.. it was some of the most delicious tender pork I have ever had. Not gamey/barnyard at all. Prepared just excellent.. can't describe it well enough do it justice. Their chef is a master.. if your lucky enough ask for it next time your in, they dont have it all the time but hopefully you can get lucky and enjoy what the cook/staff enjoy.. i felt very fortunate to be able to enjoy this treat from the kitchen. “I was so pleased with the Local Bar and Grill. To see it when you first come in, it looks like a big bar. And it is with so much more. Their dining area became filled with people also enjoying the evening. I was with a party of six and we each ordered different entrees and appetizers. I had a piece of a margarita pizza and cauliflower in a lovely breading with a delicious sauce for appetizer and a prime rib sandwich with superb au jus for dipping. Others had the Greek chicken, also scrumptious, the salads were crispy and plentiful. All and all our dinner and evening at the Local Bar and Grill was delightful. This was on a Saturday night so we also enjoyed live music, Sam Savage and Michelle. I look forward to going back and trying some others of their menu. The wait staff was knowledgeable and very friendly, giving us suggestions from the menu. Their mixologists, bar tenders are very professional as well. “Came in here for the first time in awhile. Sat down, and got some of the best service ive ever gotten ever. I look much younger for my age, so the bar owner was understandably cautious when i presented my ID. Once he realized i am the age i do not look. He was the friendliest guy, and everyone at the bar started talking, and joking like i was a regular. The food, drinks, and service is a 10/10. This place is everything a good irish pub should be.“

My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable!
