“Cauliflower app was amazing. Burgers are generous. Premium ingredients. Service outstanding. Atmosphere is great but seating is not comfortable. Chairs felt not stable. High top. I had a sincere senior and the next 2 tables had the same. Might sound crazy but I felt stressed because I thought one of them was bound to fall. ( getting on or off their chair)”

“I love this Family-owned business and especially that it is owned by a veteran. My family has been coming here for years, and my go to was always the Shrimp tacos! My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable! New flavor each week. The staff is fabulous and these guys just celebrated 15 years in business. Cheers to Ellyn's Tap & Grill.”

“Not sure if people really know about this place, but it was amazing. It’s directly attached to the hotel. But had a flat bread appetizer and the chicken avocado sandwich which both were phenomenal. Very nice staff highly recommend”

“We went to this restaurant for a family event. There were nine in our party and because of our party's size, we were seated in the building next to the restaurant. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable and the food was beyond delicious! We had heard good things and everything we heard was true. If you are looking for good Italian food, this is the place to go.”

“We came here to warm up and get a midday snack since we were in the area. We came an hour before closing and there were still plenty of baked goods available. There was also plenty of seating and it was clean inside. I had a blackberry brownie and a blueberry basil matcha latte. I typically dislike sweet drinks so I was hesitant to order the latte. However, it wasn't overly sweet and the flavor was interesting (in a good way). The blackberry brownie was rich and also delicious. My child had a big chocolate chip cookie and devoured it instantly. I wish we came for lunch since there were intriguing menu items but we will be back if we are in the area!”

“I was very impressed by Fire and Wine. It has a casual vibe. Obviously a local favorite. Each dish was excellent in taste and presentation. Service was great! Both the hostess and server were happy to share recommendations of their favorite dishes. We had the black pepper shrimp appetizer and the pizza bread for the tasty sauce!! We enjoyed our salads and entrees. We were too full for dessert! As we left, I was impressed at how clean the restaurant was- even after serving such a large crowd. Nice place. Good culture. Recommend!”

“This place is truly a hidden gem. We were recommended to check this spot out by a local bartender, and we are so glad we did! The ambiance was really chill and non pretentious. Our mixologist, David, was super personable and well versed in his craft. He’s bringing experience from cocktail programs in the city to the burbs! It was a cute little spot that gave speakeasy vibes. We initially thought we were underdressed, but this place wasn’t booshie at all, and there was no judgement like some places. The cocktails were creative and well balanced. I’m so glad we have a place like this nearby. We will definitely be back soon!Update:We just went back because of our previous experience. I brought a group of 10 (all industry people). We spent over 1k as a group for my friend’s 40th bday. I raved about this place only to feel unwelcome in the end. A young female bartender tells us we were too loud. Honestly, we obviously had a lot to drink, but nobody was being reckless. We were told people were complaining. From a business standpoint you made us feel unwelcome in an establishment where we spent money. Take the $60 2 top who complained over what we spent there tonight? At least pull one of us aside instead of making a grand announcement. Chad you’re a great and talented owner, but train your staff how to talk to people. Just tell us, dont make a scene.”

“Went here for a private party, a wedding shower. The place is very cute and I would go back for wine and snacks for a small party it was a great venue. The two women who worked the party did a great job.”

“Very friendly people working here. Service is fast. The food is good and authentic. The churros (dessert) are tasty. They are not a sit down restaurant it is pick up and takeout only. Affordable prices and good portions. Overall would recommend.”

“It's such a beautiful setting at The Waterleaf at the College of DuPage Culinary & Hospitality Center. From the bread through the salad, the entree & ending w/ dessert everything is done w/care & is tasty. The service is paced so as not to hurry the diners. But if something is needed the staff is right there to help. It's obvious that the students want to optimize the dining experience. I regret not being able to go more often to try the other entree or salad. Everything is done well. A great place to dine.”

“Waitress stands around talking to other employee. You wave at her to come over and she stands and stares at you. You actually had to tell her to come over to table. Never came back to ask how it was. Told her we want nothing else just the bill. Waited and had to ask for bill again. Not impressed.”

“The boba here is the best boba out of any place in the western suburbs. I have tried several places in Oakbrook, Bloomingdale, Lisle and none have the freshness and consistency of the boba here. In addition, I have found them to also be the BEST PRICE and highest quality. My fiancé and I come here once a month at least and more in the warmer weather. Can’t go wrong with the pink flamingo drink with 50% sugar and brown sugar tapioca. Wish they had a rewards program :)”
