From the bread through the salad, the entree & ending w/ dessert everything is done w/care & is tasty. The service is paced so as not to hurry the diners. But if something is needed the staff is right there to help. It's obvious that the students want to optimize the dining experience. I regret not being able to go more often to try the other entree or salad. Everything is done well. A great place to dine.“

This review is about the quick-serve facility--Wheat Cafe. Like the Waterleaf this is a student-run/chef supervised operation. Cheap eats! Beautiful food! During my visit I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich with Jalapeno-spiked Slaw and skinny skinny crispy crispy french fries. Wow! $5! One of my friends had the Texas Breakfast Wrap--$3. Another good value, but not as well presented as my sandwich. Another friend had the caramel chocolate tart--it was all I could do to not push her aside and eat it all by myself. Only $3! You order at a counter where you receive your beverage and then go into a small dining room, which was clean and bright. Since food is being cooked to order there is small, but easy, wait. The wait person was a little zealous about plate pick-up, but it was opening day and we were one of the first customers. “We had reservations for a table and were seated right away. We sat for over 15 minutes before asking a few different employees for a waiter. We soon realized the place was drastically understaffed. We went to the bar to get drinks while we waited and eventually got served. I will say that the staff they did have was hustling like crazy so can't be mad at them a bit but management didn't seem present and the small staff was overwhelmed. They had a band while we were there and they were awesome. Food was all very tasty as were the drinks.“

For lunch I feel it’s a moderately good deal but for dinner I was a little surprised at the portion size compared to the price, we did enjoy all of our dishes but having a hard time with the value. The charred cauliflower appetizer was tasty but small portion for over $12. The lasagna Bolognese made with a chicken sausage was equivalent of two large raviolis stacked on top of each other. For $20 I would expect a bigger portion. Overall a higher rating due to the ambience of the restaurant and service was good.“
“I would give this place 100 stars if able! I had to plan a rehearsal luncheon for my son's wedding in Joliet in mid May with only 2 months notice. Since we live in North Carolina, I had to do all the research online. Thank heaven I came across SixtyFour Reserve Room in a Google search. The manager, Andrew, contacted me right away and was so helpful in making suggestions for our event. Cheryl, the events manager, took over in finalizing all the arrangements. There are so many different options for appetizers, meal combinations, wine, cocktails and beer! Our guests were able to choose their favorites ahead of time. When we arrived on the day of the event, we were so delighted by the venue! Everything I had requested was in place, and Cheryl and our amazing server/bartender, Alex, immediately greeted us and made everyone feel welcome. The appetizers and meals were served efficiently and right on the timeline I had planned. The food was incredibly delicious with a pleasing presentation. Our guests had so much fun with the Wine Stations, and the whiskey lovers appreciated the variety of choices. Everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the food, drink and ambiance. Our daughter was using her bread plate to play with the ring. At some point during dinner, the bread plates had been cleared… ring & all. I went out on a limb and mentioned it to the hostess. My daughter had gotten curious about the ring but so far, we had avoided meltdown territory. The hostess let the General Manager, Zach, know about the situation. About 10 minutes later, Zach approached our table, knelt down in front of our daughter, and held out the (freshly cleaned) ring. “I believe this belongs to you, miss?” he said. “My friend wanted us all to get together at this place for some dinner and bingo on a Saturday night...Yelp the directions and a way we gooooo! When we arrived it had a cool family vibe, it's in a corner strip mall so there's plenty of parking. As we walked to the restaurant we saw strings of lights and several picnic tables to eat outside which we can here in February so looking forward to checking out this place in the summer nights. When we arrived they had several tables, high top tables. A long bar table to sit and eat and in the back of the place more picnic tables. When you want to order you would have to order though their qrcode at the table and they would bring your food to you, or order on their 2 standing tablets then wait to pick up your order. We even had a staff come to our table for a friend who couldn't get into their app. It sounded like if you have a group that's some people were ordering with the code separately, you have to take turns so the table number comes up with our order. I believe this is a cashless establishment as I didn't see anything paying in cash or a register. Ok on to the food... All our orders came in chinese take out containers in different sizes depending on what you got. I got the 10 pcs wings with buffalo sauce, if you wanted more or another different sauce like bbq that's extra. It's not bad juice regular sized wings flats and drummers but they were not seasoned/flavorful by itself so I sauced it. The fries were ok a bit soggy sometimes I like that vs too crispy. Hubby got the chicken sandwich he liked it. Typical sandwich. As for our drinks we got waters in blue plastic cups but our slushy booze came in an 8 oz glass. I got piña colada with booze was strong and good. Hubby got the hurricane slushy with booze strong and good. They have several flavors of the slushy machines that you can see in the pick up area. They offer with booze and without booze so kid friendly. They service different salads bowls, chicken sandwiches/beef burger, chicken tenders, and chicken wings. They have kid friendly food like Mac and cheese. We came here on a Saturday night for some free bingo with prizes it's about 2 hours of fun. Fun for us because 4 of us won a bingo prize of $5 off of food on a Saturday bingo night so we're coming back lol! One of the prizes was over $1k cash prize to fill up your bingo card in 52 numbers or else money will roll over! Overall, it's a nice place for family night , friends to hang out and those who love playing bingo... Tip, if you come on a Saturday night after 5:00pm it gets packed so come an hour or more to get a table to eat dinner or stay awhile if you want to play some BINGO.“

“This was our first time back at B. Restaurant at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort since the pandemic. We went on a random Thursday night so there were not many people in the hotel or the restaurant. We grabbed a hightop near the bar as there were sports playing on the TVs. There were a couple of guys and a couple eating dinner at the bar, but it wasn't too loud at all. It took a little while to get service since there was only one bartender serving the bar area, but it was fine - just an observation. The bartender was super nice and accommodating. She's great! The entire menu has changed since our last visit. No more pot au feu. No more honey ricotta bread. No more mozzarella sticks. We really liked those from prior visits, but we ended up trying new items which were pretty good. And although the menu prices have gone up a bit from before, they were not astronomical, especially for hotel food. The best things on the new menu are the appetizers. We had the wings, the calamari, ahi tuna, french onion soup, and cream of asparagus. All were delicious. For entrees, I think my best advice is to skip the steak and short rib. Both were a bit tough and chewy. The scallops with risotto was really good. Mac and cheese was great if you like a more swiss cheese base (not so much cheddar). Truffle fries were outstanding. Desserts were a bit hit or miss. The chocolate cake was nice and rich. The kids sundae was good. The seasonal creme brulee was peppermint, but unfortunately the combination did not work well together, so this was a miss for us. Overall, I think this is a solid 4.5 star restaurant with the potential to be 5 star if they tweak some of their food offerings.“

The Rye Old Fashioned is really good. The Bloody Mary (only served during Sunday brunch) is outrageous with that slider on top! They have a decent beer selection also. “Ok so this was my first time here. Went with some classmates, who have eaten here before. They said the food was good and plenty of t.v.'s to watch sports. I kept it simple, maybe too simple LOL! Someone ordered chips with salsa which was very good. So if you like spicy salsa you will love it. I believe the tortilla chips are homemade. Everyone ordered something different. Mild wings, tacos, pizza and chicken tenders. I myself ordered cheese sticks and fries LOL! I was offered a mild wing, and they were actually delicious. The fries were perfectly golden brown and tasty. The waitress was nice, and did a good job serving a table of 7 people. It was a Saturday night so the noise level was expected for a sportsbar. Plenty of room to sit, t.v.'s with tons of sports. Next time, I'll try some other food options.“

My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable!
