“Thank you Molos for a wonderful evening. We hosted a small birthday celebration with 20 people. The room was cozy and private and since we had dined before we knew the food would be awesome. We did appetizers of course. The Baked Feta was a huge hit as well as the Saganaki of course. We ordered Greek Salad for each table and our guests ordered off the menu. I’m sure it was a challenge for the kitchen but they handled it very well and everyone enjoyed their meal. We had one server, who’s name I did not get, (may fault). She was awesome! “Truly cannot say enough great things about Lucca & their staff. We love popping in for dinner, so much so, we chose to host my sister’s wedding shower here last weekend. From the initial planning with Sonia to the day of, we were blown away by the food, service and care we received. There is very little needed in terms of decoration [the space is beautiful as-is] and Sonia and her team did a wonderful job keeping everything running smoothly and on time. We even ended up needing to push our first course back by at least 15 minutes and they still didn’t skip a beat. Nothing felt rushed, behind schedule or off beat in any way. “Hosted a 30th birthday party for ~40 people here and it was excellent! Whirlyball was a great activity to start the night for an hour with food and drink tickets. We were able to move the party upstairs for an hour of bowling with cake and a piñata. Staff was very friendly (Dee was our waiter and was excellent!). Planning was made simple with customizable packages. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it for a well run and fun event.“

“Discovered this place while biking to catch the BNSF back to Chicago. Usually would bike past to hop on the train at Western Springs or LaGrange Road. But one day I stopped short and popped in here. Really impressed by the selection of beer, wine, and whiskey. Before the Derby, they had three different bottles of Blanton's Bourbon. I asked for a smell (it's not Jimmy John's, I know) and they obliged me without so much as a blink of the eye. Quite an impressive wine selection. “They only serve lunch only during the weekdays (no dinner and no weekends). However it is the best lunch around! It's like your mom went in the kitchen and made it for you. Soups are made from scratch and they are delicious. The BLT on rye is outstanding. And if they have it, you have to try the potato salad. This is a bar with a Northwoods atmosphere that has affordable prices but there are some tables to sit at. They also have a Friday fish special.“

I had the largest fried Shrimp ever and they were amazing.We went for the fantastic Shindig 60's band, the top local band in the Chicago area. They were outstanding, as usual.The band stage was WAY too small but worked. It needs to be reconfigured to a larger size and the lighting needs to be adjusted because taking pictures didn't work.My suggestions :1. Remove the tv's since you're really not a good venue as a sports bar. Add more tables under the tv's.2. Expand the band area and include an area for dancing. Too many people were dancing around the tables.5 separate dining areas. Lots of seating.I rated 5stars because it was an exceptional situation with St. Patrick's Day, the staff was overwhelmed with the crowds but were amazing under the circumstances.03/16/24 was St. Paddy day celebration.We had a reservation 1 month in advance.
