“I love the food, as a vegetarian it's hard to find options when eating out and this place delivers. The prices are high, but the portions are decent. My only suggestion would be not to charge extra for a little extra sauce. It ruins the experience and I don't know if you gain anything by doing that.“

“Penelope's Vegan Taqueria Andersonville hits the spot! Honestly, this is probably the best vegan Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. The portions are a nice size with many great menu options. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food and ambiance are great. The Chunky Quesa Taco (cheddar cheese quesadillas taco topped with asada, onion, cilantro, lettuce, tomato and green salsa) is a must try! Overall, if you visit, you will not regret it!“

“Logan Vegan easily has the best vegan Ice Cream I've ever had, and the owner John makes it himself which I find even cooler.It's coconut based, but doesn't taste coconutty at all. The taste and texture is just like normal ice cream. I'm lactose intolerant and used to just take a bunch of lactaids when I go to Jeni's ice cream but now I just go to Logan Vegan and I'm good - haven't been back to Jeni's in months. My personal favorites are the mint chip and cookies & cream.“

“I have been to Pantera Superfoods on multiple occasions for smoothie bowls. Their bowls are delicious and the owner is so kind. I am so excited to have this place in Edgebrook. I used to drive to Bucktown for smoothie bowls. Great option on the NW side for a healthy lunch.“

“Ate there for the first time tonight. I am vegan and my husband is an Omni. Chef Bill came out and waited on us personally, and gave us menu recommendations, all of which were delicious! The ambiance was so relaxing and peaceful; it was a nice respite from a busy day and I didn’t want to leave. Reasonably priced as well: shared appetizer, two teas, two entrees, and two desserts was $60. Will definitely be back for many more dinners!“

My grandfather has been a regular customer for years, and can confirm the quality is consistent and customer care is superb. Many people think of scones as dry, but these are wonderfully moist! My suggestions would be the apple cinnamon or strawberry scones for a first time try.Dietary restrictions: They had options for vegan and gluten free sensitivities. “A friend brought me here for my birthday. It is a bit loud inside, but it is neat and clean with nice decor, lots of plants. :) the menu is all vegan, and has a variety of food styles. The appetizers are generous and good to share. While the entree portions are small, we did not leave hungry. “Had a Sky burger that was SO GOOD! It's a faux fried "chicken" type sandwich and it's AIR FRIED so has that comfort food experience but HEALTHY! Perfect balance of a unique bun (really tasty) with several "chicken" nuggets and a lovely sauce with shaved carrots and a "lettuce wing" in the middle (order it to see what I mean) came with some nice "cheese" veggie sticks. Exactly what I was craving! Such a calm place, relaxing space to eat in leisure. My blood pressure after eating here is alway 110/70 Love this place!“

“100% Vegan Restaurant & delicious Burgers! I have ordered the following items and will rate them with the help of my tastebuds and opinion! My favorite burger was the „Korean BBQ Chik‘n Burger" with added ranch. 5/5 - Soft, tasty, juicy burger buns and delicious chik‘n! The second favorite burger was the Mammoth Burger! Also great taste! Both came with a side of fries. The fries are regular fries. Fries: 3.5/5 in addition to the fries, I ordered sauces/dips: ranch dip: 5/5. Sriracha Aioli: 2.5/5 spicy and little to almost neutral taste. Next burger in my personal ranking would be the Buffalo Chik‘n. I have been a vegan now for close to 4 years. I do however remember the tastes of food from before I was vegan. This here burger may not be my favorite because I never really was a buffalo fan I. The first place BUT! Very authentic and close to its original taste. Therefor, I can recommend this to the Buffalo lovers! Last burger in my ratings is the „Eleburger" the name made me curious, I ate it and it's classic, standard, nothing out of the ordinary burger. 3.5/5. in my opinion, the mustard taste was slightly too dominant. All in all, I will say that this is a great place to order from! I never visited the restaurant itself and only ordered and can therefore not speak on the actual restaurant itself. It is however a wonderful experience, ordering from a 100% vegan restaurant, without having to ask about animal cruelty free ingredients. 100% plant based and I can and will recommend this Restaurants menu! “This was first visit and I am impressed with the food. Ordered ginger chicken and summer rolls. Both very good. Prices are reasonable and they have seating inside for dining in. I will be back! I am excited to try some more dishes. The people are also very nice and great service. As a side note, they do not serve any wine/beer/cocktails.“

“Happy I was finally able to try this place! I tried the Baykin sandwich, and it was filling. The plain cream cheese lacked flavor. I wouldn't mind trying the flavored one for next time. Other than that, the pickle they gave with it was very crunchy. They have some available tables with seats. Takeout was fast and easy.“

“Lovely little spot for vegan fare. The lattes were delicious, and the mocha in particular was a knockout (though the lavender was a close second). The bagel with “lox” is incredible and I will be making the journey back for it in the near future. The chickpea salad wrap had slightly less of a “wow” factor, but was still quite tasty and came with a side of chips. The vegan treats taste like… well, vegan treats. No surprise there.All in all, I’m very glad this spot is serving up innovative vegan dishes in Lakeview. I’ll find an excuse to come back soon!“

“Visiting Chicago for the first time, I had to find all the vegan options. I ordered a traditional deep dish pizza and the Oreo chocolate cake to go as we were in a rush to also go to a non-vegan pizza place for my husband. Very dark and creepy inside for me but the service was great and I really enjoyed the food! I’ve never had a Chicago deep dish before going vegan so I don’t have much to compare it to. The crust was thick and crunchy and the vegan sausage had a nice spiciness to it. I would have ordered all the desserts if I could! “I live walking distance from Fon's, and I am so sorry that we didn't visit much sooner! First of all, the service was amazing. Margherita empanada, corn empanada, and apple cinnamon were all so delicious! The price point is very reasonable. I didn't think one would be very filling, and I was so wrong lol! As I've been having pancake cravings, ordered the vegan pecan pancakes. Pretty sure I got 204 pancakes weighing in at 38lbs. Craving addressed, and pancakes were a little dense but i enjoyed very much. And was super full. Took some leftovers home as well. Bonus. Not too full to share an order of fried pickles with my friend. Fried pickles and pecan pancakes. Pretty sure I'm not pregnant, but miracles do happen? Was going to order coffee but noticed no free refills. Diner fail. I'd rather have unlimited "diner"'coffee with my pancakes than one cup o' good joe. But went americano. It was a solid B. Friend got some sort of eggplant sandwich. Looked messy but big and tasty. Not sure it it was veganizable but the menu is pretty good on that front.“

“This is probably the best customer service experience I've ever had. Chantel was so nice and very helpful. My friends and I wanted dessert before our 6hr drive and she gave us ice for the drive without us even asking. The desserts were also soooo good and I will definitely be coming back on my next trip to Chicago.“
