“Dalton's makes some of the best gluten free desserts I've ever had. I ask for their lemon bars for every birthday! They are so accommodating to all allergies and intolerances as well. I've tried a lot of their pastries and there hasn't been one I don't love. I got my first real paczki in 14 years there and it was amazing!! The owners are the kindest, funniest, most welcoming people ever. You don't even have to be gluten free to love their products! They're incredible!“

“I cannot state this with enough enthusiasm. This place is INCREDIBLE. The food is outstanding, unlike any other restaurant in the area. As for this place being RACIST?!? That reviewer either clearly did not go into the restaurant or they just want to cause controversy, as they have people of all races WORKING THERE and the staff is treated very well, like they are all family! That comment is clearly insane and looking for attention. Back to my review. The spaghetti with sausage is so authentic and delicious, the tomato bisque soup is clearly homemade and delicious! The mediteranean salad is mindblowing. This is truly authentic, homemade food and all seasoned PERFECTLY. We are always loyal customers of Lauretta's and will definitely be back!!!“

“Build your own bowl: start out with a base including purple rice or sweet potato noodles, can not decide? Go half and half.chooese a protein from steak, Korean BBQ, chicken, spicy chicken, or tofu. Extra protein is only $3 (perfect if you are splitting a bowl - which you could easily do). There are seven veggies, including kimchi, scrambled eggs, and cheese to add to your bowl, top it off with one of 6 sauces. Pineapple and avocado are premium toppings at $1.50 each. I found the Korean BBQ tender and flavorful. The broccoli is oven roasted, bringing ou the nuttiness. Seriously, two people can split a bowl or plan on lunch tomorrow. ? On the beverage station is a crock of hot Miso soup, it is included in with your bowl. I found the soup needed salt.“

“Love stopping here for gluten-free/dairy-free treats ? Service is always great + the desserts are so rich + full of flavor. Highly recommend the matcha bar + the tiramisu if you like chocolate. I have celiac disease and it can be a challenge to find gluten-free desserts that aren’t highly processed. Love this place! ??“

“Being gluten free and dairy free has made life challenging, but not since finding Holcomb Hollow! I've been a loyal customer since finding them at Green Joe's in Schaumburg. I'v also bought them at Pure Juice Cafe in Arlington Heights. With my wacky commute, I've also been able to find them at Brewpoint Coffee in Elmhurst as well as Conscious Cup in Palatine. We love their muffins, cookies, and donuts so so much. They are tasty and never give us a problem with our special dietary restrictions. They also are at the Mundelein Farmer's Market and offer seasonal special sales from their wholesale baking location in Mundelein. I follow them on Instagram where they advertise their latest products or new flavors. I also keep tabs on which businesses stock them on their IG page because it feels like the list keeps growing! IG is where they announce their random seasonal specials too. Devoted fan right here!“

“My husband and I went here for the first time! I heard about this place from my clients and decided to go for breakfast to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary, and everything was an A++++! I ordered a hot mocha with toffee and their specialty feta omelette. I was super happy that I was able to substitute the pancakes for crepes and the waitress was very accommodating and suggested I added toffee to my mocha, and she was right on the money! My husband got their OJ and it wasn’t from the carton, it was fresh! The color and taste was very fresh and bright! I can’t remember the name of his dish, but it was some kind of spicy Chorizo Benedict (I think). The food came out in 10-15 minutes, which was incredibly fast and SUPER DELICIOUS! The food was also well priced, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and as we headed out we could see their HUGE BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN and amazing juice/coffee bar at the entrance. The place was packed, but with the speedy spectacular service and fast delicious food/drinks you would think otherwise! Definitely coming back soon and recommending this to others!“

“The food was delicious as always, and the service was great. Tina was an excellent waiter. The Alpine omelette had a lovely flavor and the Door County Melt with Gluten Free bread was remarkable. The coffee, however, tasted like it was on the burner too long. One of the pleasant features of coming to Egg Harbor was the flavor of the day coffee and we’re disappointed that they no longer carry that. The specialty coffees do not make up for that. “On a whim, tried this restaurant while we were at great wolf lodge near by. Food was tasty and portions was huge. We ordered the spicy teriyaki chicken and salmon. ! Place was clean and service was great. I wish there was one closer to me. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.“

“I'm not really a coffee person, but the coffee was actually delicious. I had an ice caramel latte. The only bad thing I have to say about this place is the wait time for your food. We ordered 2 sandwiches and we waited about 20 minutes for them. Aside from that, everything tasted great, and the employees were nice. It was not overcrowded. It was just the wait time“

It became problematic , though, when I couldn’t stop eating the spicy goodness even as my face was melting and pooling at my toes. It was that good. Was it that hot? Well….. Mild sauce usually burns me up so you’re asking the wrong person. However it was a tasty challenge. The fries were the perfect crispy. So good that we went back the next day. “My first experience ever at a Teriyaki Madness was at the Gurnee location this past early December and I'm so glad to have tried it. TM has grown on me big time, I looove this place!Roughly 3 weeks later that month, my family & I were in Vernon Hills and my wife was asking what the dinner plans were. I knew Mellody Farm boasts an extensive array of great eats so TM sounded downright mouthwatering.I figured we haven't tried the VH location yet and my stepdaughter who hasn't tried TM yet was back from college for Christmas break so it was good timing.It's amazing what you can do with a short menu and convert it into an expanding sensation. Not sure about the slightly lower ratings at this location compared to the Gurnee location but the value of the food, cleanliness of the venue and service are all consistently good.Easily at least a couple of times a month I gotta get my fill of the madness and this place will always hit the spot. I hope for continued booming business for the owner(s) for decades to come.“
