“Expectation level: It's a truck stop. The US 20 exit is the only stop between the city of Belvidere and Elgin (Randall Rd). Therefore its a frequent stop Pros: -This is one of the last stops before the burbs that the costs will be relatively low when compared to Cook County. Price per gallon can be anywhere between a 25 to 75 cent price difference -Convenient Subway inside, or McDonalds next door. Its strong in location and convenience access. 2 ATM's inside -Despite a lot of the negative posts about the rest rooms, they were vastly improved in mid 2017. Previous reviews were correct in nastiness in the past. I stop here for the restrooms a lot during my travels to and from Chicago and I find it comfortable Cons: -Is this place any better than most modern gas stations? Probably not. -Paid air compressor. I hate it when gas stations charge a buck for 3 minutes of air Bottom Line: -I can't speak for the truckers, but as a car commuter there isn't anything about this place that will "prevent" me from coming here on a westbound I-90 commute. If you want don't to stop here, no worries. Pick another gas station down the street or wait 17ish miles until the next exit :)“

“Never had any issues ordering from here. Pickup is easy, staff are always friendly, and the food is amazing - so much so that I trek out to this location from Elgin.I think most of the review bombing comes from people who aren't satisfied with their own lives and need to find happiness in ruining what others have built up.“

“Nice clean restaurant. Felt comfortable taking a lunch break here. They move fast and they were busy. Indian guy speaks Spanish ! He also gave a free cookie to a school teacher. Very cool guys working here.Parking: In a gas station but still plenty of parking“

“This morning I had an intense craving for a sandwich and I found myself at jimmy johns at 9:45 am… don’t judge. I walked up and the door was locked, they hadn’t opened up yet. Although the manager opened the door for me and started making me a sandwich anyway, him and his employee were great. Fast, polite and served a great Vito sandwich! Thank you guys for taking care of my breakfast and starting my day off right!“

“Let this be clear. This is a franchise restaurant. But the service I was provided was amazing. I know Subway is not a premier sandwich shop but the people at this location working behind the counters (i.e. the people that make the sandwiches you eat) are amazing. I wish them the best. They are great at it. Why stop them? Unless they want to pursue higher education. Do it! Just letting you know, I was having a bad day and you helped make it better! Best of luck to all of you!“

“We ordered 6 sandwich’s and 6 sides for delivery. The order taker did a fabulous job taking the order. The sandwiches were delicious as always. Order was delivered within 15 minutes. My problem is the delivery fee! $12.45! This didn’t include the tip, its stated driver doesn’t get any portion of the delivery charge on the website. So it was close to $25 to have sandwiches delivered! We never thought to ask what the delivery charge was since delivery is usually $3-5. The ridiculous fee was never mentioned during the ordering process. Customers should be told of the fees. If we knew we would have definitely picked up!“
