“The Best Bakery in the North West suburbs of Chicago. I lived in the area for over 31years before moving to AZ. We have been in Arizona for almost six years and I have been searching for a bakery that comes close to Peterson's. I have not found one yet. The bakeries that I have found in Arizona don't have danish sweet rolls. They don't have the same fillings. The Swedish flops are a special treat. Peterson's was a regular stop on my way home from church. If you enjoy fresh bakery goods and are in the Hoffman Estates area you should try them. They are on W Algonquin Road in Hoffman Estates. I hope they will ship to AZ.“

“After two failed attempts, I eventually acquired the cinnamon square. I swear, when I placed my order using the kiosk machine, it appeared before me in a supernatural manner. I was amazed at how quickly it was ready. It was warm and moist as I bite into it. The texture and temperature were perfect, the icing was silky, and the dough was fluffy, but the flavor was weak, I didn't notice a strong cinnamon aroma.“

“Had lunch in...chicken parmesan was dry, not enough sauce, chicken tasted old, didn't like. Would have liked ice water at table rather than having to purchase $2 bottles of water. Bread was excellent. Paid and tipped, but no table service, so not sure why.Cannolis that we took to-go for a birthday were fantastic. Rosemary focaccia to-go, also great.“

“We have lived here for a year now and finally had the opportunity to visit this place. It did not disappoint! I felt like I was back in New York at one of the Italian places I used to frequently visit in my childhood. It was very nostalgic for me and the food did not disappoint! “We are so glad that we stopped by this hidden gem small family own business. Although the store display look kind of empty, what they have are very good. We had the BBQ pork bun (very good), 3 kind of Mille crepe cake (strawberry, rainbow and coffee, all are delicious), mini cookies (also delicious). We also had brown sugar bubble tea and taro sago coconut milk drink (soo good). If you order $30 or more, you get a free Mille crepe cake. Plus, the lady owner is very friendly. We are so happy to find this Asian bakery/dessert place in the Barrington area. We will come back for sure.“

“I had a custom birthday cake made for my husbands birthday and it was even more perfect than I could’ve imagined! It was a highlight of the party! She replicated exactly what I asked for and exceeded my expectations. Not to mention the cake was delicious too! Highly recommend!“

“This is based off real time. My patient recommended me this bakery and wanted to get my partner some tiramisu. Mind you, it's cash ONLY. The tiramisu is $2.75 so take note. The service was quick but I only had $10 with me. I asked for 5 but then asked for 4 then 3 because of the cash I had. The server was talking to another customer in Italian and was already distracted. Once I saw the price, I told her only 3. She gave me this weird and impatient look and was very rude. Hence why I took 1 star off. It's prolly good food, just very hostile environment if you're not Italian. Update: taste wise the tiramisu is a little on the drier side and has a small layer of chocolate in the bottom. I would prefer going to pasta fresh in Chicago since that tiramisu is a little more moist and fresh.“

“I work in sales and am always bringing my accounts different treats! I needed something for a couple of local accounts and found Sauer's. I have seen it several times but never stopped in. The selection was terrific and the prices were unbeatable! I got a French Flop for one account and a Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake for another. My boss got a text later in the day, from the account I gave the Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake to, asking where we got it from and how incredible it was! I will definitely be back (and hopefully get myself something soon!)!!“

It’s in a strip mall but that adds to the charm & the surprise that one will find the bestGerman food with American influences in the suburbs at this little gem! “If I can give this bakery 10 stars I would. We ordered two birthday cakes/pastries here for my daughter's birthday. My sister in law loves ordering here for her party and that was when I tried their cakes and oh my goodness, It was one of the best cake I have ever had. Its a little pricey but Its so worth it. My whole family enjoyed it when I served the cake for my daughter's birthday. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend this bakery for quality and taste.“

“I'm not 100% sold on this yet. Don't get me wrong, the cookies are amazing. They had a carrot cake cookie that I would say ok for $5 but their regular size cookies for that same price is where I'm not totally sold. Don't get me wrong, they taste really good. I will definitely try them again, but only for their bigger cookies. The strawberry pretzel was my favorite. The carrot cake with a bit more nuts would be awesome, and I'm one of those that wants raisins with carrot cake. My only negative once again is $5 for a regular sized cookie that is delicious.FYI, there are 2 touchscreens on the counter. That is where you order. They were backwards when we went in and there was absolutely no way of knowing until they finally assisted us. So if they are backwards, flip them around and order.“

“Best pastries around!! My favs are the onion roll and the chocolate cream ones. We also always get the crustless bread. I've even gotten my daughter into loving the turtles. We also get the bun with the hot dog inside and a few others. I will say it does get crowded but it's goes relatively fast. And there are trays with tongs to grab the pastries yourself. The staff are super friendly and helpful and inside is cute with cute decor. Also get the tiramsu! Def would recommend to anybody and will always keep coming myself.“

“Fresh bagels, served by polite, attentive staff, are what you will find here. They have both breakfast and lunch covered with a variety of sandwiches. The coolers are stocked with every cream cheese flavor you could want. There are plenty of tables for dine in, and the counter service turns out orders quickly. They don't do the bagel twists some locations make, but they have a couple of "bagel bone" options for your dog.“

“Was in the area and had to make a stop back to Mochinut. The flavors this week looked really good. I love the texture and chewiness of these donuts. They are light and not overly sweet. We enjoyed the original glazed and churro at the store. My sister was expecting the glazed to be a sugar rush. But to her surprise it wasn't too sweet, but perfect! She had her first mochiball and loved the strawberry filling. Great little after noon treat to enjoy with hot tea on this frigid cold weekend!“

“What a fabulous and beautiful coffee shop. Each suburb needs one of these. The cappuccino was perfect, not bitter and not too much milk with lots of frost. We also enjoyed a scone and an apricot and cherry tart which were so yummy. The decor is very welcoming. A very lovely place that I’m looking forward to visiting again and hopefully soon.“

Little pricey ($25) so I can’t justify buying it often but worth it if you want to splurge now and then. They have so many options of treats and sweets to choose from for all preferences and budgets.
