“I’m a gluten free girl and it’s hard to find good dessert that’s gluten free and cheap. My mom had surprised me with a too good to go bag from here and OH MY GOD. I think probably the best cookies I’ve ever had. My favorite was the pecan Carmel, I think it was the best cookie. And would eat these everyday if I could. I live in the city so I’m not able to come here often. But next time I’m in the suburbs I’m headed here for sure!“

“The name is slightly misleading, as they are not open outside of hosting events.Saw a local artist there and was very impressed with the venue. Very atmospheric and with a pretty good sound system. They have good lighting and smoke effects as well.The venue does do a lot of shows and poetry and art stuff. “Walked in for Tłusty Czartek and it took about 10 mins in and out to grab a variety of pączki. The pączki variety were worth the price and they were bigger than usual and made really well. My favorite was was one with the edible floral pieces on top. I recommended.“

“Foodwise, is truly a wonderful story, somebody in the kitchen knows what to do and that translates all the way to our braines stirring waves of good sensations.Their turkish culture habits, the hours limitation for certain types of food, do not always overlap with other's schedule or expectations. The staff is very polite and forthcoming but that's so much they can do.The atmosphere is a bit bizzare, the music for example, is not in tune with the specific, the way that the tables are set, suggests rather a train fare than a regular restaurant.Their sweets shop however, is there to take away all possible clouds and make your day.Parking: Plenty of parking“

“We stopped in for a special treat. They had a good selection of donuts. The shop was decorated nicely and the man who was working there was inviting, helpful and nice. We decided on 6 donuts, Boston creams, pistachio, blueberry cheesecake, apple cider and bacon maple. We enjoyed them all! The prices are average for this type of shop and it does have a nice area to sit and eat if you want to do that. Overall, I recommend stopping in for a delicious donut. We will be going back whenever we are in Elmhurst again.“

“I hired Roughedges Confectionery for my daughters’ bridal shower after sampling some of their treats at local events. They were not only beautiful but insanely delicious! Everyone at the event commented on her desserts saying they were not only gorgeous, but the best cupcakes, flourless chocolate bites and cookies they’ve ever eaten. Kai and her team went above and beyond to make the event perfect by being so easy to work with, displayed the desserts so beautifully and actually had a member of her team pick mint sprigs from her garden that I forgot to bring! “Had lunch in...chicken parmesan was dry, not enough sauce, chicken tasted old, didn't like. Would have liked ice water at table rather than having to purchase $2 bottles of water. “This is based off real time. My patient recommended me this bakery and wanted to get my partner some tiramisu. Mind you, it's cash ONLY. The tiramisu is $2.75 so take note. The service was quick but I only had $10 with me. I asked for 5 but then asked for 4 then 3 because of the cash I had. The server was talking to another customer in Italian and was already distracted. Once I saw the price, I told her only 3. She gave me this weird and impatient look and was very rude. Hence why I took 1 star off. It's prolly good food, just very hostile environment if you're not Italian. Update: taste wise the tiramisu is a little on the drier side and has a small layer of chocolate in the bottom. I would prefer going to pasta fresh in Chicago since that tiramisu is a little more moist and fresh.“

“We came here to warm up and get a midday snack since we were in the area. We came an hour before closing and there were still plenty of baked goods available. There was also plenty of seating and it was clean inside. I had a blackberry brownie and a blueberry basil matcha latte. I typically dislike sweet drinks so I was hesitant to order the latte. However, it wasn't overly sweet and the flavor was interesting (in a good way). The blackberry brownie was rich and also delicious. My child had a big chocolate chip cookie and devoured it instantly. I wish we came for lunch since there were intriguing menu items but we will be back if we are in the area!“

Whether getting a slice of their real Italian pizza or a cannoli or some bread/rolls or ordering a cake - you won't go wrong. Huge selection of Italian cookies and pastries as well as most other things that are baked. The biggest issue is once you get something here, no other place will ever be as good.“

When I walked in, there was a long line, and that seemed promising, plus it was moving quickly. We wanted something savory, so we ordered a ham and cheese croissant, a goat cheese and pesto croissant, and a spinach quiche. They warmed up the pastries and brought them out to our table pretty quickly. I was surprised the pastries were so good. The croissants were so flakey and delightful. The spinach quiche had a lovely crust. I completely forgot to take pictures because I was in a rush and starving, but I also saw a security sign that said no camera allowed. I wish they had more savory pastry options with meat, but the ham and cheese croissant was all they had when I visited. I did see that they had sandwiches that could be ordered, so I might try that if I am ever in the area again.“

“Stopped in here and didn't know what to expect. Elderly Italian lady greeted me, so nice and friendly! Got a 6-in Italian sub and a panzerotti. The sub was larger than 6 in, quality meat, a nice tasting dressing and not all the other stuff they throw on at other places, like lettuce and tomatoes and whatever else. Simple and perfect.I say this with pretty good knowledge of all the popular Italian sub places in the area. “The Best Bakery in the North West suburbs of Chicago. I lived in the area for over 31years before moving to AZ. We have been in Arizona for almost six years and I have been searching for a bakery that comes close to Peterson's. I have not found one yet. The bakeries that I have found in Arizona don't have danish sweet rolls. They don't have the same fillings. The Swedish flops are a special treat. Peterson's was a regular stop on my way home from church. If you enjoy fresh bakery goods and are in the Hoffman Estates area you should try them. They are on W Algonquin Road in Hoffman Estates. I hope they will ship to AZ.“

I always order a quiche, if there are any left when I show up. My go-to is the spinach and cheese. The mushroom and Swiss is absolutely delicious and that’s is my favorite! I also get one of her fluffy, buttery croissants.If you dine in, like me, they will bring your order out to you in tea cups and coffee cups with saucers. The food is beautifully plated and service is great.I’ve never had anything bad at The Bakester and don’t ever think I will. “I'm not 100% sold on this yet. Don't get me wrong, the cookies are amazing. They had a carrot cake cookie that I would say ok for $5 but their regular size cookies for that same price is where I'm not totally sold. Don't get me wrong, they taste really good. I will definitely try them again, but only for their bigger cookies. The strawberry pretzel was my favorite. The carrot cake with a bit more nuts would be awesome, and I'm one of those that wants raisins with carrot cake. My only negative once again is $5 for a regular sized cookie that is delicious.FYI, there are 2 touchscreens on the counter. That is where you order. They were backwards when we went in and there was absolutely no way of knowing until they finally assisted us. So if they are backwards, flip them around and order.“

“The four stars is for the restaurant itself. This review is regarding a waitress they have working there, Kate. She was a horrible waitress. I asked for a Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi, whichever they have and she told me they have "Mexican Coke" what the hell is that?! I said, you don't have Diet Pepsi, she said yeah we do, I was like well that's what I asked for.She was not attentive and literally forgot about us sitting in the back. I had to get up and go ask someone if she was still there! The guy I asked said she was still there and he would send her back and even then she took a bit to come back to the table. The place wasn't even crowded. Anyway, Kate finally comes and takes our to go order, since we wanted to take some food home too. Comes back with the to go food and checks, there were three of us and she brought three separate checks, great! Well we tipped according to what we felt she deserved (even then, she actually got more than what she deserved). Also by the way, anytime we go out to eat, we are VERY generous tippers, but do tip accordingly.I go to the washroom and come back and she was at the table talking to my sister and when I walked up, I heard her saying, she left me 10% and you left me 18% and she left me 15% and I just wanna know why? Was there something wrong with my service? She was legit upset! I said to her wait, you're actually questioning your tip? She kept saying that she wanted to know if there was something wrong with the service, but she knows what she was doing. I honestly never in my life have ever had anyone do something like this, I was shocked! Not to mention there were other people sitting around and she was pointing at each of us telling us what we gave her for a tip! It was the most absurd thing! The audacity!So she finally walks away and I go ask for the manager, who happened to be the guy that I asked if she was still there. His name was Sam and he was very nice and very apologetic, he said he was embarrassed and that he would let the owner know. I sure hope he did because employees like this (speaking of employees like that, there were a couple of them behind the deli counter giving us some of the hardest looks, they must be friends!) are going to drive away customers! But I do have to say, the food is amazing and it is a great place!“

The coolers are stocked with every cream cheese flavor you could want. There are plenty of tables for dine in, and the counter service turns out orders quickly. “Was in the area and had to make a stop back to Mochinut. The flavors this week looked really good. I love the texture and chewiness of these donuts. They are light and not overly sweet. We enjoyed the original glazed and churro at the store. My sister was expecting the glazed to be a sugar rush. But to her surprise it wasn't too sweet, but perfect! She had her first mochiball and loved the strawberry filling. Great little after noon treat to enjoy with hot tea on this frigid cold weekend!“

I love the lemon knot cookies and the Italian ice, and you'll find traditional cookies here too as well as danishes and donuts. “This is located next to Woori Village. Huge parking lot. The bakery/cafe looked spacious upon entering. We only came here to check out their bread selection. We ended up getting a variety. Prices are not expensive, the size of the bread is not like a pea size. I feel like people use the word “expensive” or “pricey” these days, just because it’s not less than $1. They also have coffee, teas, cakes, and bingsoo. The woman at the register was very nice. The shop was clean.“

“Courageous Bakery and Cafe has some solid breakfast and pastry choices. My husband is a huge sucker for breakfast burritos and I am a huge fan of buttery, flakey biscuits. Courageous has both so it's a win-win for us! Besides breakfast, we would typically order croissants, cupcakes, and/or 4 inch birthday cake to go. None of those have disappointed us. The only downside is the horchata loca latte was somewhat mediocre in which both horchata and coffee flavors were underwhelming.“
