“After two failed attempts, I eventually acquired the cinnamon square. I swear, when I placed my order using the kiosk machine, it appeared before me in a supernatural manner. I was amazed at how quickly it was ready. It was warm and moist as I bite into it. The texture and temperature were perfect, the icing was silky, and the dough was fluffy, but the flavor was weak, I didn't notice a strong cinnamon aroma.“

What I found was they have dairy free and gluten free options.There aren't a lot, but they have some, what I call, "fake ice cream" bars in the freezer case. I had something similar to a Klondike Bar - fake ice cream dipped in dark chocolate on a stick. You know what? I was good. A few have sprung up over the years, but this one is very easy to get to.“

“We went to the drive thru they put on the sticker 49 and on the order was a 46 so they took 40 min to figure it out when we got our food it was already cold...They need to pay more attention to what numbers they put in your car and what numbers they put on the order.“

“The owners deliver pure magic to both children and adults alike! It truly is a happy place, you can feel it as soon as you walk in. “It was our first time yesterday and everyone there was so nice & welcoming! I believe the owners were there cleaning and just being present in their shop. They were so friendly when stopping to talk to customers. The coffee is amazing but they also have breakfast/lunch sandwiches! “If you're around the greater Chicago area. Stop in and grab a concrete. That's what I did.I'm from Missouri and we are known for how great our frozen custard places are. By far the best gelato I have ever had! The owner Antonella could not have been more welcoming. I observed her interacting with children and she made them feel so special. “I'm not 100% sold on this yet. Don't get me wrong, the cookies are amazing. They had a carrot cake cookie that I would say ok for $5 but their regular size cookies for that same price is where I'm not totally sold. Don't get me wrong, they taste really good. I will definitely try them again, but only for their bigger cookies. The strawberry pretzel was my favorite. The carrot cake with a bit more nuts would be awesome, and I'm one of those that wants raisins with carrot cake. My only negative once again is $5 for a regular sized cookie that is delicious.FYI, there are 2 touchscreens on the counter. That is where you order. They were backwards when we went in and there was absolutely no way of knowing until they finally assisted us. So if they are backwards, flip them around and order.“

“Delicious! Excellent client service. I love their ice cream, mangoneadas, corn with butter, cheese and cream in a cup, natural cold pressed juices. Everything is made with attention for a reason. Be patient, they can get busy sometimes, but promise it will all be worth it. People get there with mobile orders expecting to skip lines- not even Starbucks does this.“

“We stumbled across this place on our drive back home. The had allot of cool flavors to try. They offer a variety of sizes, including kids scoops for fraction of the price, which had me sold. It's just nice to spend less for little ones that probably won't finish a whole cup. My daughter got cotton candy, my son got super man, I got a large ultimate Oreo shake, and my husband got a regular scoop of the blueberry cheesecake. The service is so fast. They had people coming in and out, but they made sure not to miss anyone. The Inside was so colorful and bright. It gives summer vibes. Really nice find.“

“This is my favorite place for frozen yogurt. Over the past 10 years I've visited many locations, all of which started to decline and inevitably close (Glenview, Park Ridge, Deerfield, Mount Prospect). Schaumburg has been the most consistent location over the years. Algonquin was always pretty good too but my last visit the froyo was watery. I know there are Bloomingdale and Downers Grove locations but I haven't been to those. The location is very clean and although there are typically kids running the locations, the store is always well kept and the toppings station is always full and clean. The froyo is always great, and they always have good flavors. Their machines are typically full. And like I've mentioned always consistent. I've been turned off by other froyo shops where the froyo is priced by the ounce and the froyo comes out of the machine like frozen or watery slush and just a small amount weighs a ton, so you're paying more for less, not to mention not enjoyable froyo. The Schaumburg location the consistency of the yogurt is always spot on. It's never watery, too icy/slushy or bland. I truly believe this location takes pride in their shop. I hope they stay in business forever!“

“Upon my return visit to Chicago to visit my sister, we had to stop in and have ice cream midday though it was @ 40 degrees! Being from Las Vegas, we are not honored with Oberweis's presence. “Our son, Parker has worked at Nekter for almost a year now. He actually loves working there, and that’s all you can ask from your 18-year-old son. Loren and Brandon, the owners, really care about these kids and the same with the quality of food they make fresh every day. Having a son who works at Nekter has also afforded us the opportunity to try virtually everything on the menu. Yes, we are real customers but mostly we just love healthy food that tastes really good. If you’ve ever had a smoothie from a chain place, you’ll instantly know the difference. Our favorite things are their Chia pudding w pumpkin and a Popeyes Açaí are ridiculous. You know when your teenager makes homemade cashew milk at home… reminds you that you live in Barrington but also that the universe is working!“

“Good choice for toppings on vanilla or chocolate soft serve ice cream. Soft serve was good quality but instantly turns runny in mostly anything other than a cone (eg sundae). Personally I'm a custard guy though and would rather have ice cream flavors instead of toppings. Next time we'll have to try their shaved ice.“

For this particular Kilwins, there's only street parking, so there can be a bit of a walk if the downtown gets busy. However, the sign is brightly lit and easy to spot. They offer a wide assortment of desserts, including fudge, caramel apples (made in-house), chocolate-dipped cookies, and of course, ice cream. The worker happily gave us fudge samples which was a nice surprise. I tried the chocolate cherry walnut which was delicious.They had over 20 ice cream flavors to choose from. I had the toasted coconut. The flavor was great, but it was elevated from the bits of crunchy chocolate pieces. Unfortunately, there's no seating available, so you'll have to eat standing inside or find somewhere else outside. Prices are on the higher end, but I'd consider it a gourmet ice cream shop.“

Releaf is located in the cutest Japanese marketplace, tucked away in the corner amid other restaurants. I got their Black Sesame and Matcha mixed soft serve on a cone. Honestly, there isn't much to say except that it was delicious. The quantity is really great, swirl was aesthetically pleasing to look at, and you can taste both the matcha and black sesame. The staff said that the soft serve is definitely stronger compared to the ice cream scoop. They do serve drinks during their normal operating hour, but after like 6/7pm, they only sell soft serve and ice cream after those times.“

“I have come to this candy shop for the last 10 years. That should speak for itself. If it doesn't, I'll say more:I absolutely love chocolate malts. Any place I go that has them, I always order one. SweetSpot makes the most INCREDIBLE malt I have ever had anywhere, and not once in 10 years has it been less than amazing! I took a friend a few months ago, telling them that the malts are the best and she was skeptical. Had one sip and said it was "50/10."However, if you aren't into malts, there are many other things to love. They have the widest variety of candies I have ever seen at one shop, plus some types of candy that I haven't seen anywhere else in 15 years, not to mention soda in actual glass bottles! Good luck finding those in your local grocery store! It seems impossible to find a real *candy* store anymore, as opposed to a store with a candy section.If you're in the area, SweetSpot is a must-visit. Make sure to ask for the cookie to be warmed up,the best cookie sandwich that way. But overall the place is lovely. They should work on their customer service in person and over the phone as well. “We live nearby and drive past this Culver's location 1-2x a week.Our favorite local burgers are from Shake Shack, but this Culver's is located closer and is more convenient. Plus, they're more affordable with a great kid's meal now that my toddler can eat half a cheeseburger.Shake Shack also has our favorite cheese fries, but Culver's is good with their Wisconsin cheese sauce.We usually order a cheeseburger for my husband and a cheeseburger kid's meal for our toddler and me to share. Their kid's meals are great because they include a side, drink, and a scoop of custard with a topping for $6.99.Their online ordering is easy, especially when making customizations to the burgers and upgrades to the meals. Our toddler doesn't like onions, and they've always gotten our orders correct.We love dessert, and after our local Dairy Queen became really stingy with mix-ins/toppings, we were so glad to experience this Culver's standard of beautifully made malts, shakes, sundaes, and custards. And unlike Portillo's shakes that turn to ice in the freezer, Culver's desserts stay scoopable the next day.What we'd love to see from Culver's is a rewards program and a way to checkout with their coupons online.“
