“Such a memorable night out with outstanding food cooked to perfection, smooth service, attentive and kind staff, and lovely atmosphere. Angie, our server, couldn’t have done any better. It was 10/10 from start to finish. So kind, so attentive with our two birthdays, and so warm and personable. She made sure we had everything we needed and represented the face of the restaurant in an excellent way, letting us know about events coming up. Angie, thank you so much! You made us feel so special!“
“We Enjoyed this Locally Owned Restaraunt. Everything Was Delicious! Especially the Peach Riesling Moscow Mules ??Our Dishes Were Very Well Seasoned and Great Presentation. However We Would Have Liked Some Actual Lobster Meat in Our Bisque. The Service Was OK. Our Server Would Rush Away Before We Had a Chance to Answer If We Needed Anything. We Would Definately Go Back Maybe Try Lunch Time Next Time.Parking: Plenty of Parking Adjacent to the Building.“
“I absolutely love this place! Outstanding Customer Service, Food, Drinks, Atmosphere and amazing professional Staff. Thank you for making my Family and I always feel welcomed, accomodating us, your patience and always paying attention to detail. For sure a special place and very cozy. Will be back for sure. Everything by far is delicious. Thank you for helping us make our Birthdays memorable and making us feel at home! ?“
“Sean the lead bartender is amazing. He creates the best custom cocktails that aligns to your meal beautifully. The ambiance and energy at Gigi’s is unmatched in the Barrington area and the menu is always changing and evolving. Can’t reccomend it more!“
“Open, very, summery atmosphere! Feels like you're grabbing dinner on vacation to places like Palm Beach or Miami. Such a great place for a brief escape from Chicago winters. Elegant but still casual. Bright colors, nothing dark and dingy like several if the more old school Italian restaurants. Food is excellent! A good variety. I had the linguine with clans and I loved how it wasn't saturated in butter and garlic. Tasted like it does in Italy! Bread was fresh, beet salad was surprisingly delicious, and the Gelato was some of the best I ever had. We got hazelnut and pistachio. Coffee was good and strong. Service was good though we had to ask for several things which should have been already at the table, like grated cheese, salt and pepper, sharing plates should have come with the dessert as they gave enough spoons to know we were all sharing, etc. I've been here when it's jam packed and the service has always been great! This time it was less busy and we had to ask the bus boy for things. But, that being said, the waitress was very polite and immediately took care of requests when she was present. I wanted a table by the window and the host willingly accommodated us by making a 4 top for us. One plus from coming on a lesser busy time was that it was much quieter,l. Usually it's pretty loud in there when it's busy. But I always appreciate the uplifting vacation like atmosphere! I've never been disappointed, and this is probably my 4th time eating at Lucia Rose and will not my last.“
“Met a friend for dinner and we stayed for 2.5 hours. Our server was great he never made us feel like we should leave. It was a week night and not very busy. Great food, great service!Parking: Plenty of parking in a lot behind the restaurant.“
“Way beyond all expectations. Delicious, delicious, delicious. Finally a new sceneof beer in the area. Well thought out brew and beverege, great crew behind the product. Knowledgeable, creative and humble. Absolutely great things currently and to come. Stay on the look out as Sundial will surely be all over Chicagoland. ?“
“We had a girls dinner at Coopers Hawk and all was fantastic - the food, atmosphere and service. Our waitress Paula was amazing and just so sweet attentive. I ordered some appetizers to munch on. The drunken shrimp (came with 5) were good and crisp. the ‘over the border egg rolls’ were the best I have ever had! Two of the three dipping sauces it came with were dynamite! In additional to their famous crispy brussels sprouts, I will also be ordering the on the border egg rolls too. The Cooper’s hawk ale was also a delightful“
“Zin is a place that we don't visit often. The food is decent enough, but an extremely limited menu. The service was slow on a night where it wasn't very crowded, and I would say our meals were above average but definitely not something that I would recommend as a must go to. It's a decent place to meet friends for a cocktail maybe a couple of appetizers really more than anything else.“
“Love this place! I'd been there a few times when they had igloos set up outside and enjoyed it and then most recently for a moms' night. The GM and owner were great and so responsive during planning and the servers were excellent, patient, and helped us have a relaxing night (not rushing or pushing us out). The drinks and food are always delicious. Will definitely be back!“
“While visiting a neighboring resort we came across this gem. Upon entering we were greeted with smiles and treated like valued patrons ( although it was our first visit). We sat at the bar and the bartender Marshall provided impeccable customer service. He was very knowledgeable about the selection options and he can make a pretty stiff drink. The overall feel of this establishment was very intimate and comfortable. If you are there, you will feel like you SHOULD be there enjoying a nice glass of wine. If we visit the area again, this place will certainly be on the agenda!“
“Food was very good but the service was really slow. Was a little busy but it shouldn't take almost an hour to get our appetizer. Drinks took a while also, 2 1/2 hours to eat. Server did take the appetizer off the bill which was appreciated. . ,“
“Matt, the owner, is a personable and knowledgeable individual who runs a beautiful establishment that offers a unique blend of old world culture and language. The server, Brandon, is respectful and efficient, making the experience enjoyable. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes, including lobster bisque, Caesar salad, steak tip sandwich, shrimp cocktail appetizer, and chocolate crusted ice cream. The bathrooms and kitchen are spotless, and the decor is eclectic, reminiscent of Italy, Spain, Greece, or Armenia. Some patrons may be clueless about the style, but the establishment is an Iconoclastic destination that would make a habit or tradition. The only downside is the lack of a nice cot for napping after a delicious meal. Overall, this establishment is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the rich history and culture of the old world.“
“My family threw a surprise bday party for me at Tuscan. It was wonderful! The food was fantastic and never ending! The bartenders made sure everyone’s drink needs were met. We rented the entire place…..great venue for a private event! I highly recommend it!“
“We’ve been going here for years. Food, ambiance is always excellent. Service was always good BUT last night our server TYSON blew ours minds! Told us right from the start to think of this night as a journey and to think out of the box. He was passionate about the food, drinks and other locations. He was amazing!!!!! Everything was absolutely perfect. When you go, ask for him as a server!“
