“This is one of those small town restaurants that could easily be mistaken by the food as being created in a big city fine dining establishment. Everything on the menu is prepared fresh and delicious. I’ve been back several times and tonight’s Chicken Parmesan special was amazing. Every layer of this dish: mozzarella cheese, San Marzano tomatoes and the chicken was fresh. The wine pairing was on point thanks to my server. I love this place!”

Thanks Mac and cheese, it was a large servingThis time—Joes smash burger prompted me to write this review. Ate it all without saying anything but smile.The only complaint is that Trevor at the bar needs more tattoos. “My mom and dad often will have me stop to grab them one if I'm passing through town! It is a top choice when I ask the group where they want their pizza party from! They do a great job and we love the pizza! We were also hooked on their fried green beans but they don't have them right now! I promise you will not be disappointed!”

“This is the best Tavern in town! Hands down.The Food is great, and the place is family owned and operated.Everybody is friendly and in 20+ years I've never heard of the cops having to come over there (like we hear of all too much in some of the other bars in this town). “So so so good. Kind of expensive though. Good choices of seating if it’s not busy, gets crowded otherwise. Tables are kinda close together. The broccoli and cheese soup is my favorite, along with pretty much anything else. Kudos.”

“Burger board is one of those hidden gem burger places that if you know, you know. It's absolutely the best burger I've had anywhere close by. And the shakes... Be prepared for that to be a good chunk of your meal.”

“We are from out of town and was on the hunt for a bar and grill. As we were looking places up on the internet we saw Docs bar and grill. As we went looking for it we walked into Don's place because we misread the sign out front. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and told that they don't serve food but he very nicely took us outside and pointed to a few places nearby that did serve food. As we parted ways my husband and I looked at each other and exclaimed what a nice guy he was! He didn't have to show us other options but he did! He was probably the nicest guy that I've ever met! We will be back in town and will definitely be going in there for cocktails!”

“The iced coffee is good and usually consistent, I'd consider myself a regular. Some days the staff are pretty friendly and other times service is lacking. That being said, I understand we all have our bad days but when it's multiple visits, it's disheartening.Parking: It's a one way off of the square”

“This is the first time I've tried 7 Brew, and it was pretty good. I tried the white chocolate mocha. The service was good. The girl was very friendly when taking my order.”

“This is a great location and they have really good ice cream. I'm not sure why this place isn't packed all the time. The patio is tastefully decorated with flowers on the tables. I had a twist cone and the chocolate was one of the best I've had for soft serve . Right behind the old Viles Buick Pontiac building.”

“We used Holly Cakes for our wedding on September 9, 2023 and the cake was exactly what we wanted! I came in to the tasting with a single inspo photo and description of what I wanted and they executed it perfectly! Her delivery was so seamless that I didn't even know she had shown up until I got to the reception and the cake was on the table. The cake and the cupcakes all tasted fantastic as well! Totally recommend the angel cream filling, it's delicious!!”

“Shout-out to the owner of Kim's Other Place for his generosity and amazingly delicious donuts!!!!! We ate at his other establishment, Kim's Place and he was kind enough to donate 2 dozen donuts to our college track team. He 1000000% made our day!!!! It was an assortment of donuts and when I tell you THESE are donuts, I mean these were the biggest, fluffiest, and best tasting donuts we've ever had....hands down! We've found our new go-to place next time we're in town. If you haven't been, then you definitely need to. Some of the best donuts around hands down.”

“This is a good old local bar serving Bud Light on tap and bottled beer for those who like something “fancy”. Frosty is an awesome bartender who will serve you well and provide conversation if you need it. Other cocktails available too just probably not the tini type ones. Oh, and live card playing available if you like to play poker or blackjack. Players don’t bet money, but accrue points and can end up winning a cash prize if you’re a consistent top player. Also. Frosty ordered me a pizza from next store, picked it up, delivered it to me and didn’t charge me extra for the service. AND Frosty is way sexier than Chad!”

“We have only been here one time because we were told to go and try the Irish nachos. My mom and I went and decided to share an order and she ordered a side salad. The plate of food was huge and we could barely eat half of it. Waffle fries white cheese sauce shredded cheese bacon bits, real ones and chives with sour cream ? Absolutely delicious!!! “Khultyme is the nicest bar in Jacksonville and one of the loveliest in town. My mother always loved to go there. Great live music by fun bands and a wonderful experience, without the skeeziess many of our local drinking holes have. Special props go to the lovely owner who is an absolute peach. “This is probably one of the best subways I've ever gone to, the building is always clean the food always tastes fresh and the staff members treat you like family. I come in every once in awhile and they always remember what I get even when it's been a long time, even if food isn't that great I'll go back for service if it's good. But the service is good the food is good overall I would rate this restaurant very very highly.”

“Travel all over the United States for work , have tried many steaks and chicken tenders; steaks have always been really small grizzly and disappointing. “Highly suggest Little Mexico. We decided to have a nice family day out shopping, and we got a craving for Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere was very inviting, the food was hot and delicious, and the service was great. The food came out quickly, and the kiddos were fed first. Which is important to any parent!
