The restaurant was full/noisy and the host did his best to accommodate us with a quiet location, a request we made through the app because of the hearing disability of my husband who is a Vietnam Veteran. The volume of the restaurant was still too loud for him: even with hearing aids conversing across a table that could have accommodated eight when we turned out to be only five was challenging, but the window location was the best option and we appreciated that the host did his best. I'm pointing out this situation because it is difficult to find a restaurant that ticks all the boxes: good food, good value, and good conversational ambience. “We went for St. Patrick's Day after the kids stuff, around 7:00. Wasn't over crowded, and we got a seat at one of the long tables. Both bands delivered the goods. We were singing, dancing and having a great time until the last band finished up around 11:30. The service is superb. How they keep orders straight, mix great cocktails, don't spill in the crowd.?..all while smiling and being nice...amazing. We go often and will remain loyal.“

“This is overall a great coffee place I had hot chocolate here, I really wished that they would’ve told me that the hot chocolate was made with dark chocolate but I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted great! “Found out about this brewery in Westmont and came to try a few beers. It's in a pretty hard to find location in some industrial area, the worst thing about it. Whiskey Hill is a funny name, as this place has beer, not whiskey. Oh well, what they have is still good. There's a pretty good selection including some hoppy and sours. A lot of breweries are in kind of strange areas. It's the case with this one. This is located on Vandustrial in a building it share with some offices and whatever. Lots of trucking companies around here. There's semis parked along the street. Anyway, the beers. It's about $6 a pour. It's not quite a pint but whatever. Even so, a pretty good price for a small brewery. Has many to choose from. Best was the 7 Mile Bridge. It's a Belgian Weisse with key lime, toasted coconut, and vanilla. A lot of lime flavor. This is almost like a sour to be honest. A pretty strong one at 7% ABV. There's not a whole lot on tap, but they manage to have quite a bit for a microbrewery to be honest. Get some beers on tap or take some of the cans to go. It's a small place but when it's warmer they have a patio. There's no food but sometimes there's food trucks.“

For lunch I feel it’s a moderately good deal but for dinner I was a little surprised at the portion size compared to the price, we did enjoy all of our dishes but having a hard time with the value. The charred cauliflower appetizer was tasty but small portion for over $12. The lasagna Bolognese made with a chicken sausage was equivalent of two large raviolis stacked on top of each other. For $20 I would expect a bigger portion. Overall a higher rating due to the ambience of the restaurant and service was good.“

“I've come here a few times. This brewery is a little tricky to find since it's located by warehouses. They have a pretty cool logo and the name is super interesting with a backstory. I have never seen an ice cream place offer so many different topings! On my ice cream I dared to try popping rocks, gummy bears, and sprinkles. It was a revolutionary combination! The employees were so nice, and one of them even helped me test out different ice cream flavors. Not only is the food good, but also the atmosphere. “Pablo, our waiter, was exceptional. During our first visit here, he warmly welcomed us and showcased impressive knowledge of the menu, even extending to items not listed. He encouraged us to customize our meal to our liking, and he certainly delivered! For starters, we chose the grilled calamari and Rockefeller oysters. The calamari was tender and impeccably cooked, steering clear of the typical rubbery texture. Opting for balsamic instead of oil was a perfect choice. The oysters were superb, not overwhelmed with cheese. I ordered the veal picatta from the menu, expecting a thin slab, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The angel hair pasta complemented the dish well, although I could have done without the mushrooms – a personal preference, which I should've mentioned. Nonetheless, if you're a mushroom enthusiast, they give you plenty. My boyfriend ordered off-menu, enjoying the Zuppe di Pesce with shrimp, clams, extra calamari, and rigatoni Diablo style in red sauce. It was absolutely amazing and satisfied his taste without being overly spicy. To accompany the meal, I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was light and buttery. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't typically drink wine, enjoyed it. The service was great because all toppings were free and extra straws were provided. The ambiance of the place works well because they play nice music outside and it has an older feel to it even though you order outside the place and eat outside because they do not have an eating area. Though the food was a little bit expensive, it's definitely a good place to go to every so often.“
