“Love that this place is dog friendly! My friend told me that it used to be a house but after it burned down they turned it into a bar. They have a heated indoor patio and outdoor patio in addition to the inside space. Our bartender was fabulous but I didn't catch her name. The drinks were all top-knotch, I wish they had food but they do allow you to bring in outdoor food. We ordered pizza and then a guy selling tamales came around. Overall a super fun night and can't wait to come back!“

“Bang Bang has been a neighborhood favorite of mine for years! Tastes like it's made with love. The biscuits, the pies, the sides, you can't go wrong! “I really really loved this brewery. It's the perfect spot for a bunch of nice drinks with friends or coworkers. They have an amazing selection of beers - My favourites were the Pickle Beer and the Azadi! While the pickle beer sounds funny, trust me it is very interesting. I also had a lovely stout. The general vibe is like most breweries, easy to chat with friends, nice music and good seating. Definitely going back here again.“

“We needed a place to stay close to the Concord music hall, and found the Leavitt St. Inn and Tavern. Every element of our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The menu at the inn was a purposefully short, curated list of bar food, and everything we tried was incredible. The tavern had a great neighborhood feel, and the room we stayed in was well-appointed, and just right for my wife and me. We met the owners within a few moments of arriving, and immediately felt welcomed. I highly recommend the Leavitt St. Inn and Tavern to anyone looking for a hidden gem of a place to stay while visiting Chicago. “We had lunch today at Thattu. It was bustling with almost every table full, but the tables have ample space between them and it wasn’t too loud. The beautiful exposed brick and huge windows cast a warm glow on the modern dining room. They nailed Indian flavors without being heavy or greasy, and the fun fusion dishes we tried, like Indian-spiced tater tots with sulfur salt and beet ketchup are well executed and a lot of fun. It would be easy to eat healthy at Thattu, and I enjoyed the vegetarian combo with vegetable curry, rice, beans, and sauteed Brussels sprouts with coconut. We also tried the fried chicken with dill sauce, and the catfish.Guests order through an app at Thattu, and the cost is inclusive of service. They don’t accept tips. At lunch, you grab your own flatware, napkins, and water from a bar in the dining room. We didn’t mind this.One particularly nice touch was that when we arrived, there were no tables available, and we agreed to sit at the bar. The host said he would let us know if a table became available, since sometimes guests cancel very close to their reservation time. Lucky for us, about 10 minutes after we arrived, the host brought us to a table. It was kind of him to remember our preference and work on that for us. Googling the restaurant later, I realized that the handsome host was co-owner Vinod Kalathil. “I be doing doordash n uber eats, I've been getting orders from there for a while, today I decided to order me some food got me the steak jibarito that comes with arroz con gandules and some sauce on the side n let me sayyy it was delicious, I even got me the chicken empanada n I used the sauce from the jibarito on it n omgggg sooo good. On Wednesdays there is a special for the burger and any drink for $21. What a deal! Our burgers came out quick and were delicious. They used Slagel Farm’s beef, and SHARP cheddar cheese instead of American. I love cheddar over American cheese any day. First time to Logan square and it was charming with the wide boulevards. “I hosted a party here last month and everything about the experience was above and beyond. Isaac and the full team were so welcoming to our party which spanned in age from 9mos to 76. The other patrons were also so friendly and we had a great time. The oldest and youngest among us were able to enjoy the atmosphere and celebrate but leave before the bar got too crowded and the rest of the party carried on while the bar filled. Highly recommend for the drinks, staff, the crowd and the free juke box!“

Don’t hesitate definitely order the lobster corndogs soooo good and unique. The pizza was ok, I really liked the crust, just not enough sauce, essentially the only pieces that had any were the 2 middle ones. “Great spot if you’re looking for a brewery so purist in its ways, it might brew by the German standards of brewing. No gimmicks, just fresh, hoppy beer that still feels creative. “Came in last night with a friend and we were so impressed at how nice it was. I expected more of a pub but it was a cute date spot. I liked the wrap around bar seating where you can sit on the bartender’s side. Good cocktails and good service. I really liked their menu of snacks but wish there was bread instead of crackers. They have a good selection of sherry but something sweet like chocolate to pair it with could be a nice addition to the menu. “I go here 2-3 times a week to sing, drink and mingle with every customer. Everyone talks to you and the staff is the greatest line up anywhere. They love their customers and they like to have fun, as I have seen them dance to karaoke or just being silly with each other. The front deck is amazing and I can't wait for the fun meals once the kitchen is finished. I used to make this a once a year place, but now it is a must stop everytime if out for drinks. Inside was lovely, outside was lovely, pooch dog friendly, I imagine this place is slammed in 'good weather' months. Pints were a $1 off. Come, be with your people.“

“Fantastic vibes, ciders and food at this place, I couldn’t fault it! The venue is huge, spacious and classy. They are more cider heavy than beer, as a cider person this was heaven to me!! We loved ordering flights or small little glasses, we tried all ciders on the menu. I would totally recommend the van van mojo, blush and the strawberry rhubarb ciders. They also have a cider malort combo which was vile to me but each to their own. Food is also fantastic make sure to order the fried pickles even if you don’t particularly like pickles cuz they were that good. Burgers and the fried chicken sandwich was also great. I think they use house made buns they were perfect. I had my burger on a gluten free bun, it was a little crumbly yet a very good tasting bun. Their thick cut home fries are also phenomenal. I love how they have healthier side options as well! Our servers were quite friendly and helped us allot with our selections. Though it wasn’t that packed when we were there, servers were barely making ends meet. “We came for Valentines to try the food and beer. The menu is simple and to the point. We both had smash burgers. Let me tell you, the burger was delicious. I went with the double and it was huge. I'll get the single smash burger next time. The cheese curd basket with ranch was really good. The atmosphere is chill, the food is yummy and reasonably priced. “They have a variety of beers and they were all good! They were out of multiple beers when we went but there were still options. It’s dog friendly which is fine but it meant there were a TON of dogs inside in the winter which was pretty load and meant there was spilled dog bowls all over which made the atmosphere not as enjoyable.“
