“I went here yesterday on my drive home from Michigan because I wanted my mom to try Tropical Smoothie Cafe. There was only one employee working and it was around the lunch hour, so there were quite a few people standing in line, myself included. The employee name was Quentin. This young man did an outstanding job from greeting people to making smoothies and did it all by himself. He worked as quickly and efficiently as he could and did a great job. I was very impressed and didn’t mind waiting over 15 minutes for my food and smoothie. The young man definitely deserves a raise or some recognition from the company.“
“I had been told to come check out this place since it's opening and tonight I found myself with nowhere to be for a bit and early enough to catch them before they closed. I spent a good deal of time deciding what I was going to order (because it all sounded amazing!) and the owner kept checking on me (but not in a pushy way) and I finally decided on the Cheeze burger and the berry smoothie. The first sip was perfection, and it only got better from there. I waited just 2 or 3 minutes more and my burger was ready. Spent a short time in conversation with the owner, and even before biting into the burger, I knew I'd be back as soon as my schedule allowed. Great customer service, phenomenal food and a calming, beautiful atmosphere. Don't sleep on this place, people! 10 out of 10.“
“The first time I ever went, I went with a few friends that recommended it to me. I usually don’t like milk tea, but kopa had a smoothie option that I absolutely loved. The boba was chewy but I liked it. When I went for the first time I got to write on the chalkboard and that was a happy experience for me being able to have someone read what I wrote and have a better day. Every time I get the chance to go, I go. This place gives me exceptional drinks that I absolutely love and good vibes whenever I go. I have never had a bad experience here and I would recommend this place to anyone I meet. The staff here have been so kind to me and will take full responsibility if my drink was made wrong. I love going here and would 10/10 guide someone to this amazing place.“

“Really appreciated the fact that the food is freshly prepared and comes out piping hot. The fries were really good, nicely seasoned and not greasy at all, actually a bit crunchy to perfection. The chicken sandwich and burger we ordered were really nicely flavored. Overall a nice lunch place when craving burger or chicken sandwich with a bit of a kick. We didn't try any drink so can't comment on the bobas they did look nice though.“

I will say though as a frequenter, the portions seem to be getting lesser and lesser over time and the prices keep getting higher and higher. It’s almost ridiculous how expensive it is. “A well-needed casual cafe in Lake Forest outside of the typical Starbucks offerings. Great size, nice patio in the warmer months. Menu is pretty large. Coffee, smoothies, and pastries are fantastic (the cookies are quite decadent). Service is great - while you order at the counter, your food is brought to your table (and cleaned up afterwards)!My only gripe is that the entrees are pretty bland. Bagels are flavorless, sandwiches need more spreads/seasoning. It's like the don't use salt/butter or something.They are fine, but quite expensive for being mediocre. “This place is all about timing and what employee you get. This time around was amazing. Was it because it was cold and most people aren't trying to eat ice cream? Maybe, but anyways it worked in my favor. Also, I just learned they have horchata and let me tell you something: horchata for the win! The horchata had the winning consistency, flavor, and sweetness to it. I'm excited I have another go to horchata place. The employee we got was super friendly and funny. She didn't rush us, answered our million and one questions and joked around with us. She even suggested ice cream combos. They have so many different flavors you just have to come back because they are pretty delicious. It gives the feel of homemade ice cream. I decided on the arroz ice cream. I absolutely love this flavor. They also serve snacks and tortas. It's more than just an ice cream shop.“

“I have visited this location multiple times and I am always greeted very well by the staff. I've tried the shakes and they are AMAZING!! It does not have a traditional protein powder taste that is bad, they are genuinely good! They have other options like coffees and teas that look great as well. The inside is well decorated and super cute. The only bad thing is their hours of operation are always changing so if you're planning on going, check out their Instagram to see what their hours that day is. “The ice cream is fantastic, the only downside is the service is kind of mid. They sometimes take forever because they’re always understaffed but the food does not disappoint! They always are asking to tip on their computer though which is super annoying considering they just stare you down while you are on the machine. All the menu items are diverse and I prefer the marshmallow, strawberry banana, and strawberry chocolate ice cream!! Also all their teamonades are super good!!! I prefer raspberry, peach, and lychee. They also sometimes add the actual fruit and a lemon piece into the drinks. The ambiance is kind of meh, it’s a very bright atmosphere but with empty and big spacing around the seats. Sometimes when it’s busy there’s not enough space to even enjoy your treat, but I love the ice cream and drinks! “

While the boba itself wasn't the most extraordinary I've ever tasted, the drinks were certainly satisfying. They struck a good balance between flavor and sweetness, making them enjoyable treats. Overall, despite the initial wait and the boba being just above average, I would still be inclined to come back. “This place is so awesome. I love taking the kids here. They have a bunch of different flavors to try. They have some ice creams that are milk/cream base and some that are water based. They also sell other foods and drinks here like walking taco in a bag and fresh fruit chamoy with tajin. They had baked goods for sale. I ordered the dragon fruit with was good and sweet. It's one of my favorites next to cucumber ice cream. I tried a new flavor that had passion fruit, mango, tropical mix. It was pretty good. The bright colors inside of the restaurant transports you to a tropical island somewhere, and makes you forget it's 40 degrees outside. The service is always so awesome here. If you see a flavor and are curious about it, they let you try it out. I would definitely recommend trying La Michoacana if you're in the area.“
“I have always loved liquid fusion and normally go to the northbrook location but stopped by here while at the dmv. The staff was nice and fast. The boba smoothies were good as always. I got the strawberry honeydew with tapioca and strawberry dream with tapioca per usual and they were both good. Haven't been to a liquid fusion in a while but prices have gone up a ton. A regular was like $6 with tax. This is a bit pricier than other places but worth it for the specialty flavors like the strawberry dream and melonah. Liquid fusion will always have a special place in my heart and worth a visit if you haven't tried it but def not a cheap spot anymore :''((“

“I saw this place online through a search in the area for healthy foods. The physical place is very nice. The atmosphere is great too! The menu is much larger and diverse than you would expect from a small healthy food establishment. The food tasted great! I had the avocado toast, see pic. The only issue I had was that I received a single piece of GF bread with the avocado and egg on top for $16! I expected at least twice this for the price. This was definitely less food than I expected for the money! I suggest they reconsider the portion size for that much money. Otherwise, I really liked the place!“
