“From the lounge to the store above it, it was amazing! The owner and his staff are super friendly, and knowledgeable about their products and are there to please. I visited there store to pick up a very hard to find bourbon and they had it, as well as a great selection of other rare spirits. During my visit, the owner's son showed me the lounge below the store and it was so unique and high end! I couldn't wait to come back with my boyfriend as I knew he'd love it. We went last night for a Bourbon tasting event and we couldn't have been more impressed! The staff was fabulous, the event was perfect and the charcuterie boards provided were delicious! I recommend anyone to attend an event or just stop to find a rare spirit and call ahead to spend time in the lounge, you won't be disappointed. We'll definitely be back. 5 stars isn't enough.“

“Jude's has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Crystal Lake. I love the variety of internationally inspired options and the size of the plates is perfect. I brought a very large group of ladies there for Black Friday, everyone has particular tastes and was able to find something they liked. They have a very trendy area in the back with a huge couch/bench for larger parties which was so comfortable. To top it off, the staff are always kind and accommodating during our visits!“

“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

“My wife and I did a tour. Our experience was great. Amanda did the tour and was very knowledgeable and very down to earth. The smell in the air hits your nose as soon as you walk in and it’s heavenly. The spirits were delicious as well. We bought a bottle of Rye (highly recommend). This was a Christmas gift from my wife! “For a bar in Fox Lake this place is pretty good. It's got plenty of beer and liquor, along with some basic food to go along with it. Lynn Catherine's is hilariously described as a deli: that's funny stuff. Come here to play some slots and hang. The prices are pretty good, but you wouldn't expect to pay much at a place such as this. After visiting the lake we came here. It's one of the many bars in town, located in the middle of downtown close to a few others. This place doesn't look like much, but has a good amount of indoor seating and there's a patio. Drinks are cheap. It's about $4 for a basic cocktail like whiskey and whatever. Even though the food isn't impressive, it's not like it's bad. It's about $7 for shareables such as the Pretzel Bites. These were a little burnt, but not that bad to be honest. Good place for cheap drinks and food. It's popular with locals but it's a good place for anyone to stop into. There's also events like live music and whatever.“
