“Ordered for my daughters end of year softball party. Everyone absolutely loved all of it!! We ordered chicken, barbacoa, and steak tacos with tamales. My husband, who LOVES tamales, asked why we didn't order more for just us and the girls and their siblings gobbled all of the tacos up. Every parent asked for contact information. Highly recommend. “Jude's has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Crystal Lake. I love the variety of internationally inspired options and the size of the plates is perfect. I brought a very large group of ladies there for Black Friday, everyone has particular tastes and was able to find something they liked. They have a very trendy area in the back with a huge couch/bench for larger parties which was so comfortable. To top it off, the staff are always kind and accommodating during our visits!“
“From the lounge to the store above it, it was amazing! The owner and his staff are super friendly, and knowledgeable about their products and are there to please. I visited there store to pick up a very hard to find bourbon and they had it, as well as a great selection of other rare spirits. During my visit, the owner's son showed me the lounge below the store and it was so unique and high end! I couldn't wait to come back with my boyfriend as I knew he'd love it. We went last night for a Bourbon tasting event and we couldn't have been more impressed! The staff was fabulous, the event was perfect and the charcuterie boards provided were delicious! I recommend anyone to attend an event or just stop to find a rare spirit and call ahead to spend time in the lounge, you won't be disappointed. We'll definitely be back. 5 stars isn't enough.“

“For a bar in Fox Lake this place is pretty good. It's got plenty of beer and liquor, along with some basic food to go along with it. Lynn Catherine's is hilariously described as a deli: that's funny stuff. Come here to play some slots and hang. The prices are pretty good, but you wouldn't expect to pay much at a place such as this. After visiting the lake we came here. It's one of the many bars in town, located in the middle of downtown close to a few others. This place doesn't look like much, but has a good amount of indoor seating and there's a patio. Drinks are cheap. It's about $4 for a basic cocktail like whiskey and whatever. Even though the food isn't impressive, it's not like it's bad. It's about $7 for shareables such as the Pretzel Bites. These were a little burnt, but not that bad to be honest. Good place for cheap drinks and food. It's popular with locals but it's a good place for anyone to stop into. There's also events like live music and whatever.“
“I ordered a pizza for takeout on a Thursday night. It was the Dave’s Special with sausage and green pepper. The crust was crispy and the toppings were generous. It’s not the cheapest pizza in the area but it tasted great and reheated well for leftovers. We will be back.“

“Stopped in yesterday for a quick afternoon drink with the family for my dad‘s birthday and had a great time. Everybody was drinking beer, however, I decided to try their absinthe cocktail which was the first time I’ve seen this at a bar and it was done very well.Overall, the place is quaint, has a great cocktail list, and it was also nice to see a Mocktail menu if requested. During nice days, they have plenty of outdoor seating, which would make this a great place to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night with friends.Will definitely be back.“
