“Two GREAT employees last night! First is Claude. Made a surprise rum drink from scratch and served it himself. Could not have asked for a better cocktail. Second is Andrew. Very thoughtful and was right there for everything with suggestions and service. They made for a very GREAT time.”

“Only complaint was that the dining room was noisy, so that it made conversation difficult. Most likely the result of a large crowd, with a 20 to 40 minute wait.

Vegetarian options: Depends on how strict a vegetarian. It is authentic Greek cuisine, so there are many seafood options. Strict vegetarians will be limited to roasted vegetables and hummus dishes, but they will try their best to accommodate.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dishes are labeled on the menu, but I don't think this is a totally gluten free kitchen with separate prep and cooking areas.

Parking: Large self parking lot that can overflow into other parking areas.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with children dine here. Many options on a children's menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Large dining area with good access to move around, including the washrooms. Very little floor transitions (bumps or steps) unless one is going to back private dining rooms.”

“We were a fan of the fabulous food already. But when my husband and daughter planned a surprise Birthday party for me, we were VERY impressed. They said whenever they asked Ricardo for something the only thing they heard was: No problem! OR… Whatever you need! And ALL of our guests complimented the food and most took home doggie bags. If you need a party room and want to work with the most accommodating staff - give Ricardo a call. If I could give a 10 star rating - I would. I promise you won’t be disappointed!”

“First the food was actually really great. The Korean ribeye was what I’ve been missing being a California native that’s used to eating Polynesian and Asian food. Pizza, Spinach dip, and the Martinis was not the best but good fruit mixes. Despite a few mix ups my sisters and I enjoyed the place. BIG ovation to the manager on duty Monday evening that listened and addressed the issue promptly. The staff are very professional and I’m looking forward to another visit soon. Great job guys!!!”

“We get this for takeout a lot, but you have to try the Fire Chicken Sandwich. It's one of my absolute favorites! The combination of pickled onions and jalapeños, topped with a sweet and spicy mango habanero sauce, is just incredible. And the cilantro garlic fries are the perfect side, especially when you dip them in the creamy ranch dressing.”

“We have dinner at Miller's twice a month and are never disappointed. The Prime Rib Special is one of our favorites. I also love the shrimp. The variety of beer is amazing. The staff in Lombard is great and are always happy to serve. 5 STARS”

“Atmosphere deserves more stars here. Had a great date night with my wife. Servers were awesome, but the atmosphere.. it's as if you got welcomed into someone's Sunday night dinner and that someone serves you nothing but GREAT food. Get an appetizer. Definitely get the cookie skillet.”

Family style shareable plates feed 3-4 easily & you can upgrade for around 10 bucks more for their "big" version which feds 5-6. -Comfortable semi-private room lends itself to an almost home-like quiet atmosphere conducive to having conversations. -Food quality was excellent. Cooked properly ensuring tenderness, moist & flavorful. Spicy dishes were actually spicy. Savory ones were succulent. -Ambiance was culturally interesting & comfortable. It added to our enjoyment through conversation about unique decor pieces. -Even created individual servings of their shareable desserts for our birthday celebrants along with a hardy birthday cheer at our table. All around great experience. 10 out of 10 & will definitely return.”

“Best ice cream ever!!!! I am an ice cream snob when I’m on vacation. I have to have it every day and I walked miles to that ice cream parlor this week the owner and the boy Jake that worked there was such awesome people too. I will definitely be back. I went tonight because I’m leaving in the morning sorted caramel chunk.!!!! you will not be disappointed”

“Slyce wings review

I Checked out the new wings offered at Slyce.

I ordered the mango habanero (6pc) and honey bbq (10pc) a slice of pizza while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive…and I’m glad I did. Bc the rest of the guys came, ordered, got their food before the wings arrived. Took atleast 20 min for the wings for dine in.

The wings were cut so drummette were separate from the flats. So 1 anatomical wing is considered 2 pcs.

The pcs were on the small size. Nice presentation. The wings were very hot (temp wise) since we were dining in. There skin had a nice crunch. Not overly bread coated. Minimal fat under the skin which I prefer. Generous amount of flavor sauce. Comes with a cup of ranch

Mango habenero flavor was on great. Not overly spicy. Good tang/kick to it. Spicy bbq is bbq sauce with red chilli peppers. Standard stuff.

Overall value is there. Would be better if the pieces were bigger. (I had the halal BWW a week ago as a comparison and those were almost double the size). Order ahead. And I believe if you eat them too late they become soggy. Which might be the case with any wings.

Overall I give these a solid 8.5/10. Will get again in the future.”

“So far I’ve eaten at Vasco’s twice with my coworker. The food is delicious. It is perfectly spiced, chicken is cooked to perfection and not dry. The garlic sauce is very tasty. It is very clean. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.”

“I have never had a bad meal from Gnarly. I have been going here for a few months now and I'm just obsessed. Do yourself a favor and check out the specials. Their barista is a freaking genius when it comes to their specialty drinks. I would eat here everyday if I could. If you love soft pretzels gnarly is the place to be.”

“Chicken shawarma is awesome. I did not like the meat shawarma is not something i would recommend at all, they used too many spices including cardamom which you cannot taste the meat. I enjoyed the chicken shawarma a lot. However, i have half of my meat shawarma and after I was feeling not good.
The service is nice and the people are friendly, prices are fine and the restroom is clean. They have a collection of soda and drinks, free parking.
Small couple tables not a big space but chill and clean.”

F’bombs about politics and covering shifts made for an unpleasant atmosphere. The lack of maintaining a professional environment or even a family friendly environment was lost today. Sounds like the staff needs a manager to be present. Take your nachos to go.”

“Excellent service! I ordered a pizza for pick up. The pizza wasn’t quite ready for pick up, which I had no problem waiting for. But they told me how much of a valued customer I was, they offered my wife and I complementary sodas while we wait and threw a free 12in double dough pizza on top of what we ordered. Their pizza was fresh and hot and I absolutely recommend to order your food from them. I’ll be getting my pizza from here from now on.”

“We often get their whole chicken dinners for carryout, delicious, excellent quality chicken with roasted veggies and Spanish rice. We do miss the cornbread and we hope that might come back someday. Hours closer to dinner at least one day a week would also be ideal, say 4 :30 maybe one day a week that when we do get carry out here it is an early dinner.”

We got 2 sliders each (1 beef and 1 chicken) and the portions were very small compared to what was expected.

“Went there for the 1st time last Saturday. The service and the food were both excellent. Amber was on top of everything and was very knowledgable about the menu items. Husband had a ‘skillet’ breakfast and I had the granola/berry French toast. We left very little food and we didn’t need much to eat afterwards. The food was filling and kept us going until late afternoon. I recommend this restaurant and will be back! Highland Village Texas location”

“We’ve utilized Black Cat Bakery for birthday cakes in the past, and each time they are absolutely stunning as well as delicious; but we were even more blown away by how absolutely perfect our wedding cake was this May. My husband and I were treated so well for our cake tasting in the months prior to the wedding, and the flavor combinations are as always, incredible. I trusted Madison to design a cake that matched our theme after choosing our flavors (this is HER art!), and she completely nailed it! It actually made me tear up how perfect it was. Our guests had nothing but compliments on both the design and flavor of our cake, and I’m already looking forward to eating it again for our first anniversary even if it risks being freezer burned 😆 You can tell that the staff here really loves what they do, and they put their hearts into their desserts and creations. “I had had a day and decided to stop into this bar to have a drink under some sun. Wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted and told the bartender Hannah to give me something fruity. She said I got you and made me an absolutely delicious vodka with other mixes drink. It was exactly what I needed. The drink was just as refreshing as being able to walk into a place distraught and be immediately met with comfort and a kind engaging personality. She definitely makes this bar what it is and I will be returning on her next shift.”

“My favorite birthday cake that I’ve ever had! Decorated beautifully and tasted great. The frosting had just the right amount of sugar and was so smooth and the best frosting I’ve ever had! The cake was very moist. The macarons on top were also very good! The strawberry macaron tasted like a fresh strawberry. I will order all my cakes from her in the future!”

“I've been going to this place in the mall since I was a kid. Now I honestly make trips to the mail just to pickup food from here. The chicken teriyaki is always what my family gets. They love it with white rice and vegetables. I usually opt for the shrimp with white rice, and vegetables. The app they have is great, you can place an order ahead of time and show up to pick it up. You no longer have to wait in the long line, to order. The food is the same, the hot sauce which made the food next level seems to have been discontinued, through no fault of their own. They have small packets now. Food is still good, and service is always great and fast.”

“It is reasonably priced Pakistani food, or at least some of the dishes are reasonably priced. We are unfamiliar with Pakistani food hence I wanted to try it while passing through Lombard. I had the butter chicken plate ($7.69). we ordered the shami kabob ($12 for 4 pieces) which was extremely hot and the ground beef was like paste. We could not eat the shami kabab because it was over hot. It was a waste and I don't recommend it. We also ordered the Achar Ghost ($12) which was quite nice. The portions for the $12 dishes are very small. The chicken plates are quite good and good value because they come with a large paratha each.”
