“Two GREAT employees last night! First is Claude. Made a surprise rum drink from scratch and served it himself. Could not have asked for a better cocktail. Second is Andrew. Very thoughtful and was right there for everything with suggestions and service. They made for a very GREAT time.”

“Only complaint was that the dining room was noisy, so that it made conversation difficult. Most likely the result of a large crowd, with a 20 to 40 minute wait.

Vegetarian options: Depends on how strict a vegetarian. It is authentic Greek cuisine, so there are many seafood options. Strict vegetarians will be limited to roasted vegetables and hummus dishes, but they will try their best to accommodate.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dishes are labeled on the menu, but I don't think this is a totally gluten free kitchen with separate prep and cooking areas.

Parking: Large self parking lot that can overflow into other parking areas.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with children dine here. Many options on a children's menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Large dining area with good access to move around, including the washrooms. Very little floor transitions (bumps or steps) unless one is going to back private dining rooms.”

“So good. Delicious, tasty and all kinds of yummy. Everybody at the restaurant was so nice and generous. I highly recommend this place. We come to the area once a year from Canada and I think we’ll have to make this an annual dinner.”

“We get this for takeout a lot, but you have to try the Fire Chicken Sandwich. It's one of my absolute favorites! The combination of pickled onions and jalapeños, topped with a sweet and spicy mango habanero sauce, is just incredible. And the cilantro garlic fries are the perfect side, especially when you dip them in the creamy ranch dressing.”

“First the food was actually really great. The Korean ribeye was what I’ve been missing being a California native that’s used to eating Polynesian and Asian food. Pizza, Spinach dip, and the Martinis was not the best but good fruit mixes. Despite a few mix ups my sisters and I enjoyed the place. BIG ovation to the manager on duty Monday evening that listened and addressed the issue promptly. The staff are very professional and I’m looking forward to another visit soon. Great job guys!!!”

“I had had a day and decided to stop into this bar to have a drink under some sun. Wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted and told the bartender Hannah to give me something fruity. She said I got you and made me an absolutely delicious vodka with other mixes drink. It was exactly what I needed. The drink was just as refreshing as being able to walk into a place distraught and be immediately met with comfort and a kind engaging personality. She definitely makes this bar what it is and I will be returning on her next shift.”

“Food was good but service was terrible. Went to celebrate a birthday and made a reservation. We still had a wait for a table. The place was busy but the server didn't acknowledge us for a while. He didn't bring us water and when we asked he only brought glasses for half of our party. Then he brought oil for bread but never brought the bread! We ordered the Fettuccine alfredo and Quattro al Forno. We got the Fettuccine first and had to wait longer for the other entree. When we finally got the Quattro al Forno which it is supposed to have four items but it only had 3 items on the plate. When we asked he checked and said he grabbed the wrong plate as it was a special order for another table. He didn't attempt to rectify the situation and bring the missing item. He instead offered to bring a free dessert for the birthday. Customers that came in after us got their food much faster than us. We liked the food we got but we were extremely disappointed in the service.”

“Thanks to Azzy & Alejandro for making our dinner so enjoyable. The food was delicious (I had the fish tacos & my husband had the pork chop) - service was excellent. The night before was busy & loud and Azzy saw us come in right away - seated us in a quieter space & brought us exactly what we needed - good food, a glass of wine & a Guinness from the tap. Perfect.

Also, during our 3 day stay at the hotel - every breakfast was delicious and served by such caring, nice people. Easier to get the day started with service like that.

“Slyce wings review

I Checked out the new wings offered at Slyce.

I ordered the mango habanero (6pc) and honey bbq (10pc) a slice of pizza while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive…and I’m glad I did. Bc the rest of the guys came, ordered, got their food before the wings arrived. Took atleast 20 min for the wings for dine in.

The wings were cut so drummette were separate from the flats. So 1 anatomical wing is considered 2 pcs.

The pcs were on the small size. Nice presentation. The wings were very hot (temp wise) since we were dining in. There skin had a nice crunch. Not overly bread coated. Minimal fat under the skin which I prefer. Generous amount of flavor sauce. Comes with a cup of ranch

Mango habenero flavor was on great. Not overly spicy. Good tang/kick to it. Spicy bbq is bbq sauce with red chilli peppers. Standard stuff.

Overall value is there. Would be better if the pieces were bigger. (I had the halal BWW a week ago as a comparison and those were almost double the size). Order ahead. And I believe if you eat them too late they become soggy. Which might be the case with any wings.

Overall I give these a solid 8.5/10. Will get again in the future.”

“So far I’ve eaten at Vasco’s twice with my coworker. The food is delicious. It is perfectly spiced, chicken is cooked to perfection and not dry. The garlic sauce is very tasty. It is very clean. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.”

But they told me how much of a valued customer I was, they offered my wife and I complementary sodas while we wait and threw a free 12in double dough pizza on top of what we ordered. Husband had a ‘skillet’ breakfast and I had the granola/berry French toast. We left very little food and we didn’t need much to eat afterwards. My husband and I were treated so well for our cake tasting in the months prior to the wedding, and the flavor combinations are as always, incredible. I trusted Madison to design a cake that matched our theme after choosing our flavors (this is HER art!), and she completely nailed it! It actually made me tear up how perfect it was. Our guests had nothing but compliments on both the design and flavor of our cake, and I’m already looking forward to eating it again for our first anniversary even if it risks being freezer burned 😆 You can tell that the staff here really loves what they do, and they put their hearts into their desserts and creations. “I stopped by the Sbarro at Yorktown Mall and had a great experience. The staff behind the counter were very friendly and welcoming, which really stood out. I ordered the baked ziti combo with a breadstick and a drink, and everything came out hot and fresh.

The baked ziti was hearty and comforting — loaded with pasta, plenty of melted cheese, and topped with a generous layer of sauce. It tasted just right for a quick mall meal, filling without being too heavy. The breadstick was the real surprise: baked golden with seasoning and a little crunch on the outside, but still soft and warm inside. Perfect for dipping into the ziti sauce.

The portion sizes were generous, the food came out quickly, and the seating area upstairs by the big windows was clean with a nice view out to the parking lot and trees. It made for a relaxed lunch break.

Overall, this Sbarro feels like a solid choice when you’re at Yorktown Mall — friendly people, tasty pasta, and fresh bread that hits the spot.”

“We ordered a 12-piece fried chicken with 2 sides and 6 honey biscuits...this was BY FAR THE BEST fried chicken we have tasted, including a certain chain named after a "sailor-man", starts with a "p"... the coating on the chicken was just right, very tasty! And those honey-biscuits, Ohhh wow! Even the coleslaw was crunchy and delicious 😋 I will be going back to Mr. Broast for chicken very soon!
