We all come for one reason and that’s for a family environment. I enjoy the owners, staff, and some good classic breakfast being made. “I need to come back for a follow up review and I might change a couple aspects of my review.The food was good. The price of the food could have been a little better for what we got. But otherwise no complaints. They were a little busy, so the review on service could be changed as I don't know their situation. “OMG! Where have you been all my life? Tucked away in a small strip mall in South Beloit, inside a grocery store, is this little gem... Taqueria La Mexicana. WOW! The food is fantastic. Since our discovery, we have eaten here several times. The quality of the food is consistent at a very reasonable price. The service is great, the food is authentic and they offer both eat in as well as carry out. If you're looking for wonderful, authentic Mexican food....look no further. We will definately be back!”

“Janet is one of my parents favorite servers. All are great, but Janet will constantly monitor are coffee intake and is always ready with the refills. we came to free coffee on the house (unecpexted). food being under par our last visit.”

“First stop here in several years. Thought it was still a restaurant, but it has changed to a take out pizza place and slot parlor. Had the Chef salad which was plentiful and delicious. Also had a large sausage, mushroom pizza which was the best pizza we’ve had in a long time. Great food, wish it was still a restaurant.”
