“The place was busy, I also didn't realize it has two seating areas and an upstairs with pinball. The beer was tasty and refreshing. The fried pickles were bomb af. The oyster mushroom po'boy was good, not great but decent. Prices were on the high side for Impossible patties & vegetables. All.in all, it was good for vegan bar food. I would go back. As a footnote, the service was pretty bad. Multiple times we were brought food we didn't order (i.e. someone else's food) or already received. The food took a long time, but like I said, they were busy, which is good.“

“I think is not fair to compare, but the price of the croissant and pain au chocolet is way too much. Only in one place in Rockford I found for the same price a really good quality for these products. Again, here is not common, but in Europe it is a common part of our breakfast, it can find anywhere. So quality ( I mean... Texture... How it break when you beat, smell and taste) cannot be compared. It brought to my attention that I did not smell anything, any characteristics bakery smell when product are fresh made ( side apart to make them to loose some temperature). I think... The breakfast that other people was taking like bread with eggs or ham ...etc.... Looks like good, and the bread was toasted... Next time I would try those.“

“I don't think I have EVER had anything less than a stellar experience here. The food is always wonderful, the servers and bar tenders are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I love their salsas, queso, guac, tacos, Rio grande bowls, and of course margaritas!!!“

“This is going to be one of those rare reviews for a brewery where beer is not the star. This is a MUST visit for the building and the seating on the river dock. Great place to grab a beer upstairs or down or even better to relax outside. I had the Screw City which is supposedly their most popular. It was ok but I will be back to try some others based on the great location.“

“We always go to Shogun when we got out on a date night and its always an amazing experience but last nights experience was over the top. We got a chef who interacted with us, tried getting to know us, had over the top manners. I recommend Ricardo and we will be asking for him everytime.“

“I had been wanting g to try this place for awhile, I drive by it a lot and it's always packed. My son took me for my birthday because we heard it's kind of pricey so since it was a special occasion we could justify spending money we shouldn't be. I recommend making a reservation, we did and got seated immediately. Service was fantastic as well. It is pri etc for what you get though. I got the duck and my son got a lamb shank, neither had much meat to them for being 40 to 50 dollar meals. Overall we had an excellent experience and are glad we went. Oh they also put a firecracker in my birthday dessert, blackberry lemon cake, get it!“

“The host was so nice!! He welcomed us and made us feel welcome. There was a man in front of us who was mad at him for saying they couldn't push together tables as it was a fire hazard. The host was very nice and my heart went out to him. The food was amazing!!! The atmosphere was wonderful and welcoming. Are waitress was so nice to us and catered to our every need, even though she had many other tables. Absolutely would recommend!!!“

“Service was great. The flavors of the Açaí bowl was good but I wish the toppings were layered rather than sectioned out. I also had the tuna kale wrap which was delish! Highly recommend this if you're looking for a change of pace from a traditional eatery.“

“I had the Kefalonia Skillet. Eggs, spinach, tomato, and feta with 9 grain bread and coffee. It was delish! The potatoes were perfectly cooked, crunchy exterior soft inside and seasoned well. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I can't say enough good things about this breakfast.Vegetarian options: They don't label their veggie dishes but they do have a few options including a veggie burger for lunch.
