“What a fun discovery! Went looking for an early dinner spot after the Burpee Museum, to avoid driving back to Chicago in traffic. Could not have asked for better service or a cozier vibe. Seriously did not know Rockford had an arts scene, nor a funky neighborhood like the North End. Food was inventive and delicious, carefully prepared and beautifully presented. The cocktails were ??especially the Floradora and the SooLong Winter, made with a tea infusion (pic). My husband has difficulty walking but he had no issues here. The staff even gifted my daughter with an adorable moose pin for her bday ? If I ever get back to Rockford, this is my spot!Vegetarian options: Pesto Knot, Cauliflower Salad, Artichoke Tacos, Spring Fritters from a Spring Equinox menu.Parking: Parking behind building, enter from King Street or Latham.“
“We had our rehearsal dinner in the peacock room and was amazing! The food was delicious and the room was perfect for what we needed it for. Staff was super nice and helpful and everything went very smoothly! I would definitely recommend having a rehearsal dinner/shower or party here!“
“Came here for the first time and I loved it. The inside is just so cozy and nice. I love the whole atmosphere of it. I got the wagon wheel drink and a bagel and both were awesome. The coffee is definitely some of the best I've had in the area. I'll definitely have to swing back here again in the “
“Has that classic bar feel in atmosphere, the bartender is a sweetheart and is very professional, food is great, had the Reuben, delicious, same with their drinks as there is a great selection of cocktails, beer, whiskey. Great music while you chat up with friends.Nice little spot to take a load off.“
“I had an absolutely delightful experience at the dairy depot! The shakes and ice creams were incredibly delicious, with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. The ambiance was perfect for families and friends to gather, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had a wonderful time. Whether you're craving a classic shake or a unique ice cream creation, this place is a must-visit for anyone looking for a tasty treat and a great time with loved ones.“
“While we travel the country we have the opportunity to visit many wonderful places & their local restraunts. Smokin Coop BBQ Pit has to be one if the best BBQ places we've been to so far. The food is exceptional, service is great and the atmosphere was fun! We will be definitely be added this to our travel page for the area.Kid-friendliness: Fun things for kids to doWheelchair accessibility: All ground floor“
“Came here late one night after being out with some friends. I was told this is all part of the Rockford experience and it did not disappoint. There were a lot of cars waiting for their food when we got there, but the wait was not very long. I ordered chicken nuggets, a gyro sandwich, jalapeño poppers and some fries which I shared with my sister and one other girl - those didn't last. Portions are good, I actually tried to save the second half of my gyro sandwich but one of the guys found it and finished it! Anyway, this is probably one of the better places I've been to in Rockford.“
“We are vegetarian, and their egg white omelet is super delicious! It includes onions, green peppers, red peppers and spinach. So good! And you can add peppers and onions to their extra crispy hash browns. My husband and I really enjoyed our breakfast! Can't show a picture 'cause I ate every bite!“
“Stopped in here on a Friday afternoon when passing through the city of Rockford, IL, quickly touring through a handful of destinations on the Peaches Fan Trail. The Rockford Peaches frequented this bar during the season, so I wanted to enjoy a drink in the same space. Brad served us our drinks and was very friendly, telling us about his travels throughout his life. I asked if they had any peach drinks (to stay on theme) and he made one up on the spot- it was delicious! He mixed peach Jim Beam, Sprite, and lemonade, garnished with a lime. He asked us what they should call it- the Dottie. The space was clean, drinks were affordable, and I hope to return during the lively hours one night when passing through Rockford again.“
“Wonderful dining experience with the best bar staff. Happy and proud to be called a regular hereWheelchair accessibility: Two handicap parking stalls located by the front entrance. Around 5-10 low top tables for wheelchair accessibility. I've seen managers move tables to accommodate to all levels of accessibility upon request too.“
“The place was busy, I also didn't realize it has two seating areas and an upstairs with pinball. The beer was tasty and refreshing. The fried pickles were bomb af. The oyster mushroom po'boy was good, not great but decent. Prices were on the high side for Impossible patties & vegetables. All.in all, it was good for vegan bar food. I would go back. As a footnote, the service was pretty bad. Multiple times we were brought food we didn't order (i.e. someone else's food) or already received. The food took a long time, but like I said, they were busy, which is good.“
