“My wife went to Lydia's Cafe for breakfast after our get away weekend and it was delicious! Small place so you get the home-cooked meal and our breakfast was great. I had the Loco Moco special with breakfast rice, ham, bacon, red peppers and onions topped with sausage gravy and over medium eggs. My wife had the Rockford omelet and it was cooked perfectly! “Ok let me start by saying they have one of the biggest selections of non-alcoholic beers. Service was absolutely amazing and the server was very knowledgeable of what they had in stock and what was not in stock. Being that we were there for Saint Patrick's Day they informed us that they did have green beer and they can make any beer green but it would be food coloring. I highly recommend it if you just want to come and hang out here for one beer or make it your daily hangout.“

Most places breakfasts are similar, nothing especially stands out, although most are yummy. Here, however, I'm not sure what it was, but the hashbrowns had EXTRA FLAVOR the likes if which I've not experienced before. Perhaps they use special oil and/or spices? I ordered the SeniorTennessee Breakfast, which is a half order of biscuits and gravy, served with potatoes and an egg, any style. My brother had the Cinnamon Swirl Slammers, which is 2 egg and sausage sandwiches...OMG, SERIOUSLY DELICIOUS. I highly recommend Swedish Pancake House!“

“Aldeen Golf Club is easily the best value in IL. $60 with cart for the weekend rate is absolutely fantastic for a course of this quality. They have 5 tees ranging from 7,135 to 5,075. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are kept in immaculate condition. The greens are fast but very consistent. The driving range is real grass which is a huge bonus. Marshalls frequently circle the course so the pace is great. I can't say enough good things about this course.“
“Just had a lot of great times at town hall when Stacey the owner's daughter books a lot of good bands. Good old days are gone. I remember coming in with 15- 20 people at a table. Put in tables together because we had such big crowds. I wish those days was back.“
“Would've been 5 stars if we were greeted and waited on. Chef grabbed the waitress and from the time she politely and apologetically took our order the experience was great. The Jamaican j*** and sweet chili wings were very good. My partner got the cod fish fry and said it was really good. Friendly staff good atmosphere.“
