“I had never been to this restaurant before or even a thai restaurant. The service was great and when I asked the waiter for his recommendation, he suggested the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) and OMG that was so delicious and I received enough food that I had enough leftovers for the next day. “Simply the best Gyro I’ve ever had. We live about 30 minutes away now but anytime the family can get to a Fairview Heights, not on Sunday, we go to a Lilly’s without question. Homemade and fresh is the best way to describe the lunch special. Always piping hot and messy in the best way. The owners are always there and are the sweetest! They take so much pride in keeping the quality top notch and the service incredible. Don’t let the appearance of this one time Taco Bell fool you. You will not be disappointed!!“

“this is hands down the best bakery. there are others in the surrounding area that are amazing as well however they are second to Kruta for airy, light, taste and selection. I'm not sure what else I can ask out of a bakery... maybe a buttered bagel or roll for breakfast“

“Halloween weekend - busy place and seemed a bit understaffed as our server was managing several tables as well as making drinks at the bar. However, service was timely,efficient and cheerful. I split a sandwich with an accompanying friend and our server very thoughtfully had split the check and our drink orders without us even asking- very impressive especially on a busy night! We had the Cuban and it was well prepared with crispy bread as it should be. Prices are in line with quality and quantity. Their cocktail menu is fun but most importantly the cocktails taste good. Setting is quite casual and can tend to be noisy. My only negative is I wish they had fries!“

“We stopped by here to eat after 4.5 hours of Zumba in St Louis area. Hungry hungry hippos. The friend that brought us said that this was his favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Agavero Grill & Cantina opened in December 2021 in Collinsville, IL area. That particular day the group went to eat in February 2024, they also had a new menu (which included Birria Ramen)!! I surprised the waiter when I ordered it. LOL. I also ordered a cocktail to go with my meal. Our party size was 9. Service was attentive. Ambiance was casual sit down. ENJOY!!“

“We somehow were accidentally bumped off of the waiting list, so I was glad that I checked in with the hostess to see why it was taking so long to be seated. We then felt a bit rushed to finish since they were starting to clean up before we were done. Get there a little earlier -and stay on the wait list- and there shouldn't be a problem. Our waiter was friendly, there was an excellent selection of tap beers and unique pizza toppings that were all delicious. Parking was crowded. We'd definitely eat there again.“

“Stopped into Wood bakery for the first time yesterday (after having a few of their treats from our local Farmer’s market store) and WOW!! Their donuts are absolutely incredible. We arrived shortly after the glazed donuts were done cooking so they were fresh. My husband also really enjoyed the devil’s food donut. I also got a slice of cheesecake to try that was great. The two women working were so kind and helpful when making recommendations. Highly recommend!“

“My favorite local Mexican! And it's not like there are no options. This place is simple. You order at a bar similar to Qdoba or chipotle. I love their bowls and tacos best. But I've never had a bad meal here. It's always clean and there is plenty of dining space. If they have a weakness is in their hot sauces. They don't have anything that really hits the spot for me. But the queso is good and their chicken nachos are excellent! Give it a spin. I think you'll be happy.“

“Mother’s Day lunch with my sons. It’s a cozy bar and grill in the downtown area. Plenty of seating, and the boys loved having multiple tv’s to watch the games. Our waitress was friendly, accommodating and kept our drinks filled. The menu had a lot of unique options. I opted for the pulled pork horseshoe, made with a local barbecue sauce..it was superb. For two appetizers and four meals, sodas and one beer we spent around $80. Fair price.“

The only recommendation I have is to add cinnamon to the french toast mixture. And if there already is some, there should be more. (I didn't taste any.)My girlfriend had the eggs benedict and enjoyed it. This was her first time having this dish, so she is excited to try it from other places. “I visited Shooters for the first time and was surprised by the amazing food. The portions are huge, so bring an appetite or order less. The waitress was great and saw to it that myself and my 17 friends were taken care of without ever messing up any orders! The whole group talked about the great-tasting food throughout the next day. “First time going to Bann Thai this evening. I was really craving Kang Karee Curry and hoped they would have a good one. Was not disappointed!! By far the best yellow curry in the edwardsville area. My son had the general tso's chicken. For an appetizer we tried the Shumai dumplings. Every thing we ordered was amazing but even better was the service. Our server Melanie was so sweet and made us laugh. So thank you not only for the best thai food I have had in years but for your amazing personality and service. We will be coming back soon and if your lucky enough to go on a night they have thai donuts they are a 10 out of 10. As far as the photos I only thought to take after I had boxed up my leftovers lol“

“Being new to town we wanted to try out this restaurant. Taking sympathy on us they let us order inside and gave us a complimentary appetizer while we waited. The young lady that waited on us was very polite and friendly and seemed well versed on the menu. We found the food tasty and well portioned meals. Pricing seemed very competitive as well.“

“Went out for dinner around 7:30. Pretty busy on a Thursday night. Sat down at bar immediately by myself. Got chips and salsa and a drink fairly quickly. After that it took about 15 minutes for someone to come around again ( after I got their attention) to ask me for my food order / another drink. I got another drink and some more chips and waited for food, I got the steak tacos. They came out wrapped in tin foil? No cilantro and no onion. Kinda weird. So I had to ask for that and some limes as well. Rice and beans plate was piping hot. Anyways. Good meal food tasted really well just odd service at that time. Would recommend still.“

“This place is a little hard to review because we went there for the first time just before dinner time on a weekend (Sunday) Cinco de Mayo, so I do not believe it was a great representation of a typical day. The place was packed, and there appeared to be tons of staff that were on the move constantly. Every single person on the staff I interacted with was very, very kind.Everything was clean, the food was good, and the drinks were good, but the service did seem disorganized...like they just staffed up for the day, but didn't have any system or plan for handle to handle a packed house. I won't go into the story of the whole meal, but I have the sense that this is a great place to go when it's not so packed.They need a plan or to prep the staff better when it is busy because we didn't just for example get our meals and then not get utensils until we flagged someone down 5 minutes later. They also forgot to include 3 drinks on our bill, which we told them about when paying. It would have been cheaper for us of course if we hadn't said anything, but to see the staff and business go without $30 (or more on some tables' bills, which I'm sure A LOT of people never said anything about) is really unfortunate, when the staff was so kind, the food was good, they were clearly working their butts off, etc.“

“Came here for Mother’s Day with my parents visiting from PA and my husband. Our waiter Payton was THE best! So attentive and just knew how to make our night even more special. The food was AMAZING. I got the 7 V 7 special. Steak and Scallops. I’m from The East Coast and have missed good seafood. So perfectly made. It was one of the best meals I’ve had ever. My parents loved it too. Daughter got the grouper special and that was also yum! Classy but yet comfortable restaurant. Highly recommend. And ask for Payton!!“

“We were two couples who had a late lunch at Syberg's. We are all ex-military so we did more catching up then eating. At 2 PM the restaurant was nearly empty, which surprised us. Our server, Tony, was great! He remained available even though we were focused on talking. My husband and I ordered the fish and chips. The fish is heavily breaded but the fish was cooked well. The fries are like slices rather then the typical long, thin pieces. They were nice and crispy. Our one friend ordered a salad --huge with lots (and lots) of lettuce. He was underwhelmed. His wife ordered a daily special. I didn't hear any review either way. Would we go again? Probably not. There was nothing inherently wrong with Syberg's other than their online menu was woefully out of date. There are just too many other exciting places to go in the Fairview Heights/O'Fallon area.“

“I haven't been to Sugarfire since they first opened! I was craving bbq and my husband and I headed to sugarfire. I loved the ample parking in this location. The set up is nice you can view the menu and then walk around to the counter to order and they slice the brisket right in front of you! They had so many sides, it was so hard to choose! We ended up getting the pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, cheesy potatoes, fries, a key lime pie slice and some 4 hands beers. Everything was SO good! We are looking forward to trying more things they offer in the future.“

While I don't think the carry out portions are the same as the in-house portions, it could just be plating magic that makes it appear to be a bigger portion. “Authentic Mexican restaurant with a deep menu of delicious choices! The service was attentive and the Margaritas were delicious and not too sweet. We enjoyed the Camerones cocatel as an appetizer. Molcajete was spicy and delicious--and huge! Mojarra was crispy and fresh. It was a Monday so there weren't many people in the place, but there was a constant flow of a few tables. Everything was clean and I would return for a real local experience. The grocery store attached is also pretty cool with lots of spices and a meat counter.“
