“Doc's is the kind of place where you've got people from out of town in, and they want BBQ. And you want a huge variety of tap craft beers . Or you want to go there just for the beer. Surprisingly, they also have a huge whiskey selection as well. Oh, the BBQ, very good. Pig wings are flash fried smoked wings. They are fantastic. Everything else is wonderful, brisket, pulled pork and the sides. All at a reasonable price. Service.... Staff is very knowledgeable, especially the bartender who knows a thing or two about the liquor he serves. Great place ??“
“I arrived in the establishment for the first time and was amused at how nice it is. I can in and was greeted and quickly informed with the knowledge and the specials as well as what they are known for, so I ordered the tips and chips and let me inform you that this order is for two people, this how much food was on the order. The tips were nicely prepared and not overwhelmed with bbq sauce. NOW THE PORK CHOPS WAS HUGE AND THE TASTE WAS PHENOMENAL WITH JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF BURNT EDGE AND IT HAD A TASTE THAT WAS QUITE DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS. I was approached by the employee who explained that the chicken is another that is good to order. I will eventually be back to try the chicken as well as place an order for those tips and chops. Good place to go and have some good bbq.“
“I was totally shocked by how well kept this restaurant has remained post the pandemic. The food was great. My well-done steak was actually well done and not pink on the inside. The seasoning used on the corn and green beans was delicious! Keep up the good work: I'll be back!“
“Food and service are always first rate. My Bouillabaisse was flavorful with good sized mussels, shrimp, and white fish. Loved the broth. My spouse's fried chicken was delicious. Our server was attentive and professional. The Beignets were light, fluffy, and a perfect end to our meal.“

“We went at 4pm on a Wednesday. We had the place to ourselves. Once you receive your food, you are on your own to refill your drinks and grab to-go containers. No one came to check on us. There were items unavailable to try, but overall it was good.“

“Bill's grill catered my job's faculty candidate luncheon today. Everything was incredible. We had rib tops, smoked chicken, mixed greens, coleslaw, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled pineapples all the desserts, banana pudding, icebox lemon, and peach cobbler.....EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT from service to the food! “A friend and I dined in for lunch. One of our brisket sandwiches was a tad bit overdone. BUT, when Dominic asked about our food we told him and he GRACIOUSLY took our sandwich and replaced it along with fresh fries. Dominic was an outstanding server.THEN, Dominic told us dessert was on the house for my friend and me.THEN, when our bill came we were only charged for one sandwich and not both.THEN, Dominic brought the owner, Steve, to greet us and he was also very pleasant and apologetic.The overall experience was wonderful. “Kirk’s you have gained a new customer. My husband got a tip and chicken combo. I got a mini tip. My husband usually doesn’t allow eating in his car but we drove 30 minutes to get there based on the recommendation of his coworker. The food smelled so good I just had to taste it . One bite and it was over! We finished the mini tip before we made it to the highway . I opened up the chicken and tip combo. It was at that moment when we agreed let’s turn around and go back for more. We returned to purchase the bucket of rib tips. Barbecue is our favorite food. But it’s so hard to find good barbecue so we usually make our own. So glad we found kirks BBQ I hope they remain consistent.“
“I don't know why pizza is not showing on their website menu but they have it! My son said let's have a pizza here and I thought..oh boy, not gonna like this I'm sure! I'm a SW side suburb girl of Chicago area, so I've had what I think is the best!! (Foxs..the Orland one!!! and Vito and Nicks on Pulaski!!But had one here last night and Wow...what an awesome surprise! The crust is a thin almost crunchy cheese base..very unique! It was so different and delicious and I'm already thinking about my next one! Nice bar also with fun Halloween drinks!! My only suggestion to them is lighting needs to be lowered a bit. Give it more of an inviting cozier vibe. IMO“

“Stopped in and grabbed lunch on the way home from work, and let me tell you it was absolutely amazing! Staff was super friendly and helpful seeing it was my first time there. I ended up getting the two meats and two sides and it was absolutely delicious, I got the rib tips, pulled pork, Mac& cheese and green beans. Portions are huge and very filling. I will definitely be back again soon“
