“Incredible place unmatched excellent attention, everything very well sometimes fills in 12pm hour, but then it's fine. The owner is super nice just like the consumers compact but quality consumers will certainly return, but it will come back, but it remains me about 1 hour walk away.“

“What can only be described as awesome JTs delivers the best flavor for the buck. Eaten the pork tenderloin sandwich, beans and greens melt, coney fries and now the JT burger. None disappointed, and the simple fry sauce is burger-dippable. Buns and bread are toasted to perfection nice and soft so they’re super fresh. The owner Chris is warm and inviting and lives literally down the block. Should be at minimum a weekend destination joint and what’s more could be a place 2 or 3 days a week. I’m going to work all through menu; it’s great!“

“We had dinner delivered tonight. It came fast and it was hot. We ordered a Cuban sandwich, turkey with bacon, a horseshoe sandwich, Mac and cheese and a kids Dino grilled cheese with the best french fries! We totally recommend TriBecca's Sandwich Shop and give it a 10 plus!“

“Panes is my favorite sandwich place in Chicago! Their sandwiches are delicious and reasonably priced, and they bake their own bread fresh that is also available for purchase. Their soup is quite good, and they have a variety of dessert options. I recommend calling about 20 minutes ahead to save time on pickup orders, although I also enjoy walking in to eat there, with natural light and fun art on the walls. I usually order the Super Panes, although the Todo Italiano is also a favorite!“

“The food was awesome. The quantity was very good, the bread was very fresh and soft and it had plenty of meat. The seasonings and stuff they put on The Sandwich made them taste extremely good. I was very impressed with everything there. I've been to a lot of places and I've eaten a lot of food but this place really is a hidden gem. I really like it there and the cost was reasonable as well. The service was great, the place was clean and I liked everything about it especially the taste of the food.“

“Sissy's is by far my favorite brunch place in the area. The food is just incredible every time. Tamales, empanadas, chilaquiles, sandwiches, chicken tortilla soup, aborrajados, all stellar. And the barista who is there on weekends makes a mean cappuccino too. Service is always great, music is always great, and I seriously can not emphasize enough how much I LOVE this restaurant.“

“Overall Thoughts: I love this chain; their sandwiches are so delicious and some of the best subs I’ve ever had. The ingredients are fresh and the bread is soft and top-tier. The value is incredible with massive, filling portions for a very reasonable price. The menu is packed with creative options for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike. I’ve also gotten food from their Wicker Park location on the TooGoodToGo app, which has always been solid! The staff at both locations are friendly, and though I’ve never sat and dined at either location before, the interiors have a good amount of seating and chill vibes.Food I tried:- Magic Mushroom (Teriyaki Shrooms) with Wheat Bread (4.6/5): This sandwich was delicious! It paired well with the wheat bread, which was denser but soft and moist, especially when soaking up the teriyaki sauce. It was packed generously with veggies, which gave it diverse textures, and the teriyaki sauce added a sweet, umami flavor.- The Kind (Turkey, Bacon, Shrooms) with Garlic Bread (4.5/5): This sandwich tasted really good too; the house dressing tasted light and delicious. The bread is soft and the light turkey flavors paired well with the bacon and other lighter veggie flavors.- Chocolate Krispy Bar (4.2/5): This came in one of my TooGoodtoGo bags; it was good— very crispy and gooey, but wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to order it.- Mystery TooGoodtoGo Sandwiches (4.5/5): All the mystery sandwiches I’ve gotten from here on the TooGoodtoGo app have been delicious, leading me to conclude that you can’t really go wrong with any sandwich from here— they will all hit!—Price (relative to peers): 4.4/5Food: 4.5/5Ambience: 4.6/5Overall Value: 4.6/5“

“Their deli sandwiches are the absolute best! I’ve introduced several of my friends to Lil Guys and they all can attest most recently I tried their thin crust pizza with mushrooms and it was so surprisingly delicious! The mushrooms were sautéed to perfection and the spices on the pizza/in the sauce were excellent. My sandwich of choose there is the pesto turkey but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!“

“I just discovered Rosie's and it has quickly become my absolute favorite sandwich shop in Chicago! Everything is top-notch but the bread by far and away makes the sandwiches stand out above so many other spots. Italian, 3 P's, meatball, you name it. Best!!“

“After all these years in business, still the best sub sandwiches in Chicago area. There's a reason why, every morning, they have a huge stack of pre-made American & Italian subs ready for customers to quickly head one and go. Their amount of business is crazy!“

“8 years ago, my step granddaughter had baked a tray of brownies and left them on the stove. I had about 4 and half until my eyes started closing on their own. My vision spun black, to white, to even maybe red orange and yellow. I was terrified of the way I felt- it was my first time under the influence of marijuana besides in the clove cigarette I smoked back in '68. I had the AK-47 at Cheba Hut yesterday. It stayed perfectly warm in my bag despite my 25 minute moped trek home thanks to the thorough wrapping of the employees. The wife questioned why I smelt like roast beef after supper that night, but I assured her it was just from the Cheba Hut- and not to mention the best damn "toasted" sub I've had in these odd 71 years of life.“

“That’s my favorite place no matter what. I’ll try different subs restaurants but Jersey Mike’s still in the top is still ahead of everybody else. Somebody promoted a French slice meat and when I get there, they not even sliced the meat the meat already sliced right here and jersey Mike’s slice in my face ready to go from the big piece slice to my bread. This is the way fresh. It is right here condiments very fresh Employees they are very friendly and very attended and definitely definitely. This is my favorite place. I’ll try different Jersey Mike’s around the city and it still in the top steel fresh steel service steel everything I don’t wanna mention the competition of Jersey Mike’s because the competition don’t have a nothing next to Jersey Mike’s Remember Jersey, Mike’s number one and Papo list“

“Great sandwiches, beer selection, and shot special in a cozy, local neighborhood setting where, like cheers, everybody knows your name. There are 3 connected businesses here. A package goods liquor store with a great selection and reasonable prices. A sandwich bar with tasty sandwiches, beer, and limited mixed drink options. A draw for locals and visitors alike. The latest addition is a coffee shop, which is clean, white, and a welcome addition to the neighborhood. There are limited coffee options in walking distance in this corner of the neighborhood. Coffee is one of the few things I make well, so I can't comment on the third establishment. If like the other 2, I'm sure it's a great early time gathering spot.“

“I have been here several times. I always enjoy the food. I have a cheese steak these days, it is well made. I sort of think of them as a decent restaurant pretending to be a fast food place. The ingredients are fresh, and it's made to order. I am glad it isn't right by my office. So it stays a nice treat.“
“This is the best sandwich shop! You can tell the bread is fresh and the deli meats are freshly sliced. We ordered online for pickup and got a bogo deal through Uber Eats so we didn't have much interaction with the service. On the inside it's a little shop with a bar and limited seating. Luckily we live a half mile away because I will definitely be craving this. Pro tip: add banana peppers to the west sider.“

“First and foremost, the staff of any restaurant are the ones that truly keep an establishment running and thriving and are the heart and representation of the business. The hostess / order-taker and crew at Stacked and Folded, were super friendly to us and offered such great customer service! The atmosphere inside is very nice and offers an elevated casyal food experience.Even though the average taco is around $6.50, it is very large and offers a lot of the actual ingredients. This was the case with my short rib taco. The short rib taco did offer a little bit of that spicy hot but not too much which was good, and yes, was slightly sweet in the sauce as advertised. Overall, the flavor combination was very good and would rate it a 3.9 out of 5. It was just tender and juicy enough, but could even be a little bit more tender in the meat. I know it is not easy when it comes to short ribs and believe me they did a good job here! It is worth getting! We had also ordered the short rib sandwich, but I recommend to have the short rib in the taco form. It just taste even better with the corn tortillas! The sweet potato fries are a five out of five star! Some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. They are cooked perfection, and have that right texture on the outside and perfect on the inside. Amazing. Now as a cook, my (James’) critique is focused on the shrimp taco. Like every other item, Katherine and I had, the shrimp taco is made in a very fresh and flavorful, non-greasy and healthy tasting manner. What observations and what can be worked on from the creators of the menu is the following:The shrimp in your shrimp tacos-at least when we visited—was just plain cooked shrimp and was actually dry. My advice based on the best shrimp tacos I have ever encountered or made are taking thawed raw shrimp, then marinate them of course, and grill them briefly and just right so that they come out juicy and tender and with that amazing flavor profile. That would make your shrimp tacos a five out of five.“

“Wow! The lox sneer is some of the best I've ever had! Can tell it's homemade. Also very fun that the bagels were green for St.Patrick's Day. Bagels are SO fresh! The chicken chili was also wonderful and perfect spice. I would suggest ordering ahead as this place gets crowded.“

“came here with many friends at their recommendation. I got the #1 (Italian beef, wet) with small fries and a drink and I updated my sandwich to have peppers per the cashier's recommendation as that is how he eats it. Definitely recommend the peppers!! Italian beef sandwich 4.5/5; I've never tried an Italian beef sandwich before but the meat was very juicy and seasoned well and the peppers added a nice spicy kick to it There is limited indoor and outdoor seating but there were about 9 of us in a group and we managed to snag an outdoor spot on a Saturday night !“

“I was in the area and googled sub sandwiches. This is a small hole in the wall but friendly and good food from what I had. The menu was on what looked like a chalkboard, I did not see a veggie sub on menu, so I asked the nice gentleman if they had veggie subs, he said I can make you one and do you want cheese on it? I said yes, lots of choice of veggies for the sub, lettuce tomato onions pickles jalapenos and more I cannot recall. My sub was delicious! I had it on white bread because I forgot to ask if they had wheat bread and he already started making my sub. It was very good....I did not get a drink but they had all sorts of soda including Diet Rite and RC and a bunch of others. I will go back again when in area“

“Its a good quick bite. Food is consistent. Been stopping by when I'm in the area. But I used to eat here regularly when I worked in the area.Alot of other Al's have closed, I'm happy this one hasn't.Chicago has a lot of Italian Beef places, and reviews for this category is very subjective. But I have always liked Al's over Portillos, Mr.Beef, or Buona. But Johnny's on North Ave will always be top shelf for me.But this Al's has a bigger menu and is on the otherside of town, so if you're in the area swing by for a bite, most people aren't driving to Johnny's from Niles if they weren't planning on it from the start.“

“We tried a couple of sandwiches from this spot! It was interesting to see the limited open hours as the reviews rave about their sandwiches. They have a small menu of sandwiches, salads and refreshments which makes it an ideal location for a local lunch spot if you have flexibility with open hours. We tried the Singapore Tikka and the Sesame chili tuna sandwich which didn't take long to receive. The tuna sandwich with the chili oil and banh mi toppings was really good. They asked if we wanted it to be spicy but I didn't taste anything spicy about the sandwich but the flavors were well put together. I wasn't a fan of the tikka sandwich which needs maybe the tikka sauce to bring the ingredients together.“

“I ordered an open-faced, roast turkey dinner. The stuffing was AMAZING, the mashed potatoes and gravy like home-made, and the turkey was tender and delicious. The best hot turkey (and stuffing) I've had. The Pick-up wait on a Friday night was 45 minutes! There was a guy in a hat meeting pick-up customers almost yelling, 'the foods not up yet. “Sandwich Club is one of the best kosher Restaurants in Chicago, the Donny is fabulous, the problem is they are extremely cheap about their sauce, they switched up the meat from a couple years back, and now the Donny is more Dry, i used to ask them to make sure that it’s not dry bc it doesn’t taste as good and then they would charge me .50¢ (I don’t care about .50¢ but it’s the principal that bothers me) other than that their firecracker is delicious!“

“I love this place. I’m part Vietnamese and grew up eating a lot of Vietnamese foods. This place is much than just a Bahn Mi spot. They have so many traditional snacks, desserts and meals here.I got a Bahn Mi, it was good, a little bit dry not the best Bahn Mi I’ve had in chicago but still yummy. And it wasn’t the bread that’s “dry” the bread is naturally crunchy on the outside and flaky and soft on the inside, that was achieved. I think I felt the fillings could have been balanced a bit better is all.I got a few viet desserts and some pickled mustard greens that I grew up with. I also got a “fried pork roll” which if you’ve never had it I highly recommend it, warm or cold. Just cut a slice off and eat it or eat it with rice or rice noodles. All were flavors that reminded me of home and I am so happy I found this spot. I will certainly be back.Service was fast and friendly. My friend even left her phone on the counter and they stopped her to give it back.If you’ve been looking for Viet desserts, meats, pickled items etc. I’d say this is your spot to stop by. Bahn Mi needs improvement though. I’ve had some better spots elsewhere.“
