“Great gem in the heart of Hinsdale. Our entrees were delicious as was the donut we shared. The avocado toast was amazing and there were many choices of breads. The fruit cup was generous and had fresh ripe berries, cantaloupe, pineapple, etc. Befitting of a five star restaurant. The pictures and sayings on the wall added so much ambiance.“

“As always, Chef Paul’s restaurants are right on point. Katherine and I collectively have been to Vistro (Prime) a few times . . . and the food, craft cocktails, and atmosphere make for an excellent social and culinary experience. It was wonderful to see Patrick doing the Mixology while the other restaurant is in process of opening apparently this spring.This time around, Katherine and I stopped by for a craft cocktail, and we ended up enjoying the happy hour oysters that were very good.I have never offered a single suggested critique of Vie or Vistro.The only request I have is for the manager of Vistro Prime is to check the barstools at the bar.My barstool was wobbly, and it likely/ simply needs to be tightened up. I’m a handy person and have constructed and repaired barstools; so possibly, the hardware for some of your barstools needs to be tightened up and or repaired.They are beautiful barstools!Other than that, I completely recommend Vistro Prime to every and anyone that receives this review and all my friends and family as always!“

“The food was delicious and so fresh! The country fried steak was a little salty but overall delicious! Everything was fairly priced. The server was so friendly and kind. Very attentive as well and they served the food exactly how we asked for it. We will definitely dine in again.“

“I had to get five stars because they’re the only restaurant that carries pure olive oil, even though there’s an Italian restaurant a half a block away. Disgusting. Most of the restaurants in Hinsdale used disgusting ingredients and then charge you as much as they possibly can ‼️‼️‼️?The only restaurant in town that actually has pure olive oil! “I lived in downtown Lemont for a while and watched Barrel & Vine being built. I've been going since they had a soft open. I absolutely LOVE their chimichurri fries, you need to try them. I now live out of state but stop in for dinner or lunch to meet up with family and friends when I'm in town. Everything I've had is delicious. Pub burger, charcuterie board, jambalaya, fries, short rib bolognese, and finally.. the salted caramel cookie skillet. Don't skip out on the crafted cocktails or dessert.If you haven't tried Barrel &Vine yet, you should. Don't miss out.Parking: Because the restaurant is located downtown, the parking is a little difficult on weekends. There is street parking, and a lot across the street. A block or two away is a free parking garage.“

“I had the pork chop cooked medium well with broccolini. The chop was moist and flavorful with an apple/raisin sauce. Very good. Broccolini was fresh and crisp. I also had the Red Head cocktail; much like a Cosmopolitan. Very good with just enough vodka. Topped it off with brownie sundae. Definitely will be back. Highly recommended.“

“I’m giving Tony’s 5 stars because I mean I PERSONALLY have never had a bad meal or experience there. It’s everything you could want in a family style restaurant/ diner. The waiters , bus boys & staff are very attentive. The place is always clean INCLUDING THE BATHROOM! It’s our go to breakfast, lunch or dinner spot ! The menu is filled with so many options and specials to choose from . Portions NEVER disappoint .Today I had their beef stroganoff in which I forgot to take a pic of because I was so hungry but it was fire ! ? you get exactly what you pay for here . “I went today…I did not get the name of the person who attended us. I believe he is the owner, he is very nice and welcoming. The chefs are kind with good vibes too. Overall Good vibes. The chicken is not dry, and the friendly fire fries are very well served and delicious. “The food met or exceeded everyone's expectations. Our server, Brooke, and her assistants were terrific: pleasant, patient, and attentive. The restaurant was full/noisy and the host did his best to accommodate us with a quiet location, a request we made through the app because of the hearing disability of my husband who is a Vietnam Veteran. The volume of the restaurant was still too loud for him: even with hearing aids conversing across a table that could have accommodated eight when we turned out to be only five was challenging, but the window location was the best option and we appreciated that the host did his best. I'm pointing out this situation because it is difficult to find a restaurant that ticks all the boxes: good food, good value, and good conversational ambience. Surely it is a plus that Neat did their best.“

“The first thing that I noticed about Amerikas was the super lively and bright ambiance. I went I on a Saturday night with my wife, so I wasn't surprised by all of the people dining and having a good time, and as I ate my dinner I definitely learned why. The decor is bright and fun. The walls are lined by mutuals, mostly yellow, with big splashes of color. I liked how then kept the lights on to keep the atmosphere bright and fun. The food was delicious too. My wife and ordered the pulpo, barbacoa, tacos (shrimp and pork shoulder), tostada de pescado, ceviche and the dragon fruit cheesecake for dessert. I enjoyed all of the dishes, my favorites were the barbacoa and the pulpo. The barbacoa was super flavorful and fell right off the bone, no knife was need. The pulpo was cooked to perfection and was tender and delicious. The risk with pulpo is that it can be chewy and tough, definitely not the case here. One note, the tostada for the tostada de pescado seem a bit too dry, but the flavor of fresh seafood made up for it. If you want a fun show with your food, order the ceviche, it comes out with a cool smoke effect. Overall, the service was fast and friendly, and the overall experience at the restaurant was enjoyable. While they don't have a parking lot, street parking is cheap (at least compared to Chicago) and plentiful. Amerikas is a must visit in Oak Park.“

Couldn't relate to the story line of this play (guys and dolls) well enough to recommend it, but would love to see the actors in another play to showcase their substantial talents.And hope drury can pick more timely subject matter.“

“I love this Family-owned business and especially that it is owned by a veteran. My family has been coming here for years, and my go to was always the Shrimp tacos! My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable! We kicked off our meal with the Salmon Tartare, a light yet flavorful starter that left me wanting more. The Mahi Mahi, with its coconut curry, was rich and satisfying--I'm crossing my fingers that it becomes a permanent menu item. “The female Bartender with the short cute hair (I foolishly did not ask her name), greeted us right away. I tried the Sunday xl bloody Mary special with a slider and it was fantastic. I had another cocktail along with a few of the appetizers and enjoyed the experience. The food was good overall but id say to remember that as a bar restaurant, their best dishes are the usual bar staples: Buffalo dip, burgers... The drinks from the bartender were delicious and beautifully garnished. I tried one from the great recommending on the back of the menu under a category called "fun drinks" - I'm so glad i did.Don't forget to check out their events and grab yourself some popcorn from their machine. “I tried two savory crepes and they were great. I'm a hungry guy and one crepe is a good amount of food for the price. There were two different veggie crepes on the menu, which I loved to see. There was at least one other that may be meatless, the mac n cheese crepe on special. The menu over all was extensive and fun to choose from. They had Deep River chips, which are excellent. Will definitely be back for more savory crepes and to try a sweet crepe. My one criticism is that despite eating in, our food was served on a paper plate and only plasticware was available. Eating a crepe with a plastic fork is a bit awkward. It would be nice if they had actual silverware when you're eating in.“
