The host on the other hand, told my sister that we had to move to a different seating because the seat we was sitting at originally is for more than two people. So we moved to a different seat. Two caucasian lady come in and sit at the same table we moved from and nothing at all was said to them. We later was told that we can seat ourselves, which makes this situation even more confusing. Why did the male host ask us to switch our seat???? Food: 5/5 | Service: 2/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5”

“Had dinner with friends on Fri, 6-17. None of us had been there for years...we weren't impressed. One of us ordered the T bone which was not a complete steak. Part of the filet had been cut away. The baked potatoes weren't cooked through. The cocktail sauce for my scallops had no horseradish in it and tasted like fancy catsup. The tartar sauce had no flavor. Although our drinks were good the food wasn't worth the price. Pretty sure we won't be back. Very disappointed.”

“So far I’ve only been here twice but I’ve loved it! I got the Byrd bomb and it was so good. The second time I got the chicken tenders and the picture doesn’t do it justice! The tender was so crispy and flavorful. The seasonings were amazing. The fries were crispy on the outside soft on the inside and the 24K sauce is honestly worth 24K. That’s probably one of the best sauces I’ve had. This place made a simple comfort meal like chicken tenders and fries to the ultimate level. Definitely a good place to come for comfort food. They also have kind hospitality :)”

The patio is nice to sit on outside or the yard that has plenty of seating for a lot of people. Also the have horseshoe pits free of charge or if the weather isn't cooperating there is shuffleboard inside Also free of charge.”

“I come to the oak Lawn establishment quite often, but haven't been there in a while due to work commitments . I was in last week and as usual, I ordered with Bill at the cash register. He jokes with me as he knows what I like, but more importantly, he was genuinely concerned that I was ok because he hadn't seen me in some time. I always get 2 shack burgers, and a drink. He calls me tht best dressed man in the place as I still get dressed in a suit everyday to go into the office. Great sense of humor.”

So today I decided to park in back and I walked in at 1230 pm it was slammed , now I know why , the sandwiches are 5 star and the service also!!! Kudos to the employee making the sandwiches, as busy as it was they were friendly calm and cool! The employee has some arm tats and I’m only saying that so their recognized by management, 200% will be back!!!!!!”
