“Well I ate there 3/28/2024 and I say the food was excellent. My wife even agreed saying hers was equally delicious ( and she normally doesn’t agree ? ) but seriously this place has a 80,s cool to it , they have 80,s items displayed. Will definitely try to get back there as we live 2 hours away in Rockford. Loved the food , service and atmosphere.”

“I've been going here whenever I'm back in my hometown of Orion. When I was young it was Aaron Bob's and it's been Belly Up for awhile now. It's your classic Midwest hole in the wall. It just feels like home to me. I live in Nashville, TN now but whenever I'm back visiting family I make it a point to stop by for a couple drinks. The locals are friendly and the prices are super affordable. Friendly staff.”

“Im from the Bettendorf area where small business coffee shops are almost on every corner. Visited this establishment for an event; a baby shower. My initial thoughts were, This will be another energy/coffee shop. I will admit I was pleasantly surprised. I had a "Pink Flamingo" (Peach, Pear and Watermelon.) With sprite, over monster and lemonade, and a "Meat lover's, Egg and Cheese." The drink was great flavorful and colorful. The sandwich was good, just missed the mark on flavor. The service was superb. I both reccomend the establishment and will also stop in again while visiting or traveling through the area.Kid-friendliness: High chair availability, toy/play area for children, and hazards not being immediately present.”

“My last n8ght in town and wanted to try one more deep dish. Wow what a pizza, the sausage was incredible on the supreme with black olives. I tried another spot in town and this one blew it away. The sauce was perfect compliment to the crumbled sasage and the crust was incredible. The only downside is that it is take out only. The owners were very socialable as well as the employees. If you are looking a great deep dish this is the place.”

“Great quality food. Not a lot of gluten free options. Even the chips are flour? At least we were told that they were. We asked an employee and they said they didn't know and never came back . Sort of like eating in a school cafeteria. Also they close at 8pm and that seems really early. I would go back for the food but maybe take it to go lol”

“My husband and I finally got to check out this coffee shop! It was absolutely amazing. I had an amazing service experience. I wish I could remember the individual who helped me, but I have forgotten their name. I ordered the Iced Leroy and my husband ordered the mailman frappe. Both were fantastic. Mine had peanut butter mocha and banana. The banana flavor was not overwhelming which I figured it would be. It was the perfect mix! We also got a cinnamon roll. It was so good and served just slightly warm. The only downside is I wish it were just a bit warmer and it would be absolutely fantastic! Don’t miss out on this coffee shop. Shop small and local!! 10/10 recommend!!”

“Such a tasty & unique spot in the QC. Though, it’s a Honduran place, there’s a great representation on the menu from Central America in general. If you like Papusas, they have the best! Family owned, great food, you’ve gotta try it.”

“Food was great server was awesome despite how busy they were. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the consistency of the kitchen. My husband and I both ordered the same dish the molcajete and it was amazing but they presented it 2 different ways. Also our kids orders came out 5 minutes after ours not a huge deal but typically kids get served first and they ordered basic tacos.”

“We visited Flips for the first time this morning around 8:15. Our server, Christina was very good. She stopped by the table to check on is just the right amount of time. The food was very good and you got plenty of it. I would highly recommend this place. The pricing was better than most places.”

“Split the double Catfish dinner and we got the crab cakes. The Catfish was fried nicely and not overly greasy. I do think the breading could have used more seasonings as it was a bit bland. The fish cakes were still a bit wet when served but still very serviceable. The special tarter sauce was much better than the standard sauce served with the catfish.”

And don't get me started on the boba! Again, so many delicious options I couldn't just try one. If your in the area looking for a sweet treat or drink this is the place to go. “While visiting the QCA, we stopped here late afternoon for the first time in years with the intention of ordering from their all-day breakfast selection. We ended up having fish and chicken on the recommendation of a regular of this restaurant. The food and service was very good all around and the prices were super reasonable.”

“Have been going here for the past year and it is better than any other coffee shop around, especially when compared to the bigger names. Always quick and convenient, great flavors, prices, etc. I sometimes walk there with my dog and they always make sure he gets a treat! They can almost recognize me now and can recite my order almost by heart which is always a nice touch and shows the staff goes above and beyond. One time there was an issue with their brew and I reported it and the owner followed up with my individually to thank me for pointing it out. I could go on awhile but I just wanted to say this is one of the best small businesses I have been supporting recently and they deserve it! Please support small businesses over bigger brands!”

“Food is amazing! The pan pizza is huge and so filling. I wish the seating area was more "cozy". Everything is gray and the chairs and tables are outdated and uncomfortable. We have gotten pastas, pizza and chicken strips. The portions are huge and well worth the money. However the chicken strips and pastas don't reheat well so I suggest sharing entrees to eliminate the leftovers.”

“My first time here I purchased a Regular black Coffee it was fantastic. I revisit today but I was told they were closed, but one of the gentlemen came outside to greet me, with kindness he accommodated me by taking my order even though they didn't have my preferred request he suggested some others the cinnamon sugar donut spice coffee I topped it off by trying a coffee muffin is flavorful and delicious. Great Job. I'll be back and refer to others.”

“Talia was attentive and friendly. She was very accommodating and even offered some finger food for my "hangry" toddler to hold him over while we waited for our food.The grilled chicken BLT+A was superb, the best I have ever had actually. The toppings were fresh, flavorful in the chicken was flavorful and juicy. The french fries were very tasty and perfectly seasoned and the portion was rather generous (perfect for the 2 of us - my son and I) and my son is a big fan of their mac and cheese.”
