“I love this place! The chicken Marsala is incredible! We also had eggplant roll acting as an appetizer, linguine with clams,gnocchi and manicotti! All great and we all have dinner for tomorrow! Service is great and always like talking to the owner, who makes you feel like you are his personal guests! Only suggestion for improvement is to assign the waitstaff to one area! This happened last time too. The servers are running all over! Be a little kinder to them. They work so hard!“
“We have ordered turkey burgers with sweet potato fries for several consecutive weeks, and each time we have not been disappointed.In addition, today we ordered the fish taco platter, the rail splitting pasta, and the white bean chicken chili. Our meals were delicious. Seasoned just right. Everything was fresh, tasty and we had plenty to eat.More importantly, the hostesses at the front desk (“Grace,” “Lyric,” and the beautiful lady with the reddish below-the-shoulder-length hair were all professional, pleasant and kind.Well done to all. “Found this place recently while searching for somewhere different to go for dinner with my husband. We got there around 7:30 on a Saturday night and got seated right away. The place was decently crowded and they did have dueling pianos as live entertainment. The music was a lot of fun.We were seated away from the stage area so it wasn’t as loud so my husband and I could still hear each other talk.I got a lemon drop martini which was delicious. The bruschetta and meatball appetizer was good. We did enjoy the bruschetta more, the meatballs were ok but not amazing.For dinner I got a fried chicken sandwich, it says you can order it “Nashville hot”. I asked our waitress if it was really hot and she said yes, she offered to bring the sauce on the side. I’m so glad she did! It was good but it was very spicy so less is more with that. Chicken was super juicy. Fries unfortunately were lukewarm and tasted stale. It was busy enough I was surprised they were not fresh.We liked the vibe and will go back.“
“Long time local resident and it's our favorite "fast" food. Usually call the order in and pick up is fast and easy! The Greek salad is our go-to, always fresh and large for some leftovers the next day! Gyros are fresh and always willing to add some extra yummy sauce. The menu is pretty large so be sure to check it all out.“

The owner is very warm and welcoming, all of the food is made from scratch and with LOVE! Come and see for yourself! I had the vegetarian chili and the first bite was instant nostalgia! It brought back memories of coming home on a cold, rainy autumn day to a comforting bowl of homemade chili and board games with my family. Yes, it was THAT GOOD! Beyond the amazing chili, I also ordered the fried plantain and hands down it was the best that I have ever had from any restaurant in my life! The combination of the crispiness of the plantain and the crunchiness of the cashews drizzled with honey was phenomenal and bursting with flavor! My taste buds were so happy! “This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I love this coffee shop. It's in the heart of downtown Homewood right by the Metra. The owner is very nice, and her shop is so cozy with lots of small business made products to choose from while you wait on your coffee to be made.“
“La Voute is a hidden gem in the south suburbs. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our seafood- centric dinner. My appetizer was a special for the night. Mushroom risotto with scallops. The risotto was creamy and flavorful with slices of mushrooms. The grilled scallops were perfectly cooked. My husband had the mussels in white wine, which he said were delicious and garlicky. I had the salmon special and he had the mahi-mahi special, which were recommended by our waiter. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. We split a crème brûlée for dessert. It was a creamy not-too-sweet end to a great meal. Presentation of each dish was beautiful. We will be back!“
“Went on a Saturday around 12:30pm, busy but not packed. Food spectacular as usual, all the employees patient and great as usual. Group of 6 with 3 kids and 3 adults.Just went again on 4/20/24 for a birthday dinner for my son. $50.00 for 2 adults and a 17 year old. Thought that was pretty reasonable. Food was great as usual.“

“This was first time here. It was definitely a vibe and the peach mango slush was so fyeeeee it had just enough alcohol not too much and have you groovin. The music was nice too and service okay otherwise it would've been 5 stars. In so many instances once we were done with the drinkwe felt rushed we still had the platter left to eat but decided to just go instead. I am now looking at my receipt and there is a tip automatically added even though they have a cash jar Beware! I don't live close and if I come back it's for the Peach Mango Slush. I would strongly suggest a sign no outside food unless it's a live event and if there is a table time limit let your patrons know ahead. It wasn't crowded and we hadn't seen each other since my car crash a few months back during the ice and snow so we just wanted to chill but left because the vibe was killed by waiter.
