There is more to the menu than dogs and gyros and we look forward to sampling from their variety of items. I'd recommend using your GPS to find the Doggie Diner, because it's easy to miss.“

“We have dined in and ordered take out from here a lot! During the pandemic we ordered the family meal for carryout. The food is ALWAYS on point. The staff is friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere. When the weather is nice, you can sit out in the patio for a different vibe. The drinks are good too. It’s hard to find a spot that has flavor in every bite. We’ve ordered the New York strips, salmon, chicken kabobs, lamb shank. You have to have the Greek potatoes with your entree! I attached some of the entrees we have ordered in the past and also the family meals we got to go. You have to try this place out!“
“The first time I’ve ever been to this restaurant. It was quite honestly the best gyro I have ever had. A total unexpected gem in Joliet. I had the gyro platter 2; the portions are amazing, the meat is superbly done & very high quality, the seasoning is perfect without being overdone. And the Taziki sauce was just crazy good. I would buy it by the gallon. The staff at Johnnys was super nice and the amount of work they put into this food absolutely pays off. I will most certainly be coming here anytime I think of a gyro.“
“This place is a very convenient because they do have a drive-thru which is nice. I tried the #1 combo, which is the Gyro plate, which comes with fries and a drink. The Gyro was OK. It tastes a little bit different than a traditional Gyro. They give you a lot of meat and the fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. My Dr Pepper tasted like an off brand though. This combo was around $10 My fiancé had the chicken philly combo and the sandwich was a little small. He said it tasted good and he enjoyed his food. His combo was around $10 as well. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area and try one of their weezee burgers next time. Service was fast and friendly.“
“I usually do my own BBQ but felt lazy today so we ordered some BBQ from @gematosbbq in Naperville and it is delicious. Highly recommend the ribs, rib tips and the BBQ chicken. The sides were delicious especially the Grecian potatoes. Will definitely order from here again.“

“My Emplyee loves this place and always gets the Steak Tacos. I went today and had the Chicago Dog special as well as ordered a small chili. Not a “bean” guy on chili but…. Was great!!! I’m no chef but the ingredients tasted fresh and was great. Will order again (even with beans). Staff is great and let my dog inside (was out walking him when I stopped by). Loved it.And yes….
