“Stumbled upon this place while waiting for a haircut and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised! SUCH a cute place with loads of STL history. I ordered a half fig, ham, & gouda grilled cheese and a side Stutz salad. The service was quick and friendly, despite the full house on a Saturday afternoon lunch hour. The grilled cheese was PERFECTION: the fig was a gentle enough sweetness that balanced out the gouda and ham wonderfully. The Stutz salad--named after one of the cars from this place's history!--was a delightful spring treat, with baby mandarin orange slices, homemade poppyseed dressing, and fresh goat cheese. I often forget how MUCH I love goat cheese when it's paired properly! What a great spot and what a great meal.“

“Not all Steakhouses are created equal. Hamilton's provides an intimate setting for a quality dining experience. If you're the type to want to pair your meal with a unique whisky, scotch or bourbon - you have come to the right place. The bar's selection and knowledge will surpass your expectations. You will have the opportunity to sip on some spirits that are hard to find anywhere. It's wise to grab a reservation or enjoy a spot at their cozy bar.“

“Such a fun place with beautifully crafted cocktails and food. We started with the ahi tuna appetizer and it was delicious but a little small I had the mussels as my entree and they were the best I've had in a very long time. the butternut squash salad was perfect and light. The drinks were served in a fun manner. You have to get “Who goes there”!!“

“Food- Outstanding! Shrimp and Grits must haves, waffle with berries delicious, eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy were all just phenomenal Service- fantastic! Quick, kind, attentive. Tipped him $20 on a $86 dollar tab because we were that happy. Ambiance- chill, trendy, kid friendly but more for adults I felt, and also classy. We will be back hopefully very soon!! Wow what a great restaurant with simply outstanding food!“

“The staff are so friendly and helpful. Matt went above and beyond to help us out after dinner when we discovered one of our vehicles had the keys locked inside. It is my favorite place to go. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is delicious and they expanded the dinner menu a bit. The staff are always amazing. Even though I can't go as much as I would like to, it sorta feels like going home especially when they address me by name even though I know they got it from the reservation lol.Food & drinks: The chef can make a mean steak, Everytime.Noteworthy details: Matt is not only an amazing server but an amazing person overall. He didn't have to help out the way he did, he chose to. He also has the ability to kind of read the room, figure out how the room wants to be treated and proceeds to do an amazing job without anyone saying anything about it.“

“I had a great experience here. This was my first time here. Kelly was so knowledgeable about the menu and she has some great recommendations. Very nice atmosphere! The food was very good. We had calamari, salmon and the BLT (lobster) sandwich with strawberry sangrias. I would definitely recommend!“

“Spectacular eatery! It was everything I hoped for and more! Have followed this place on Facebook for a while now and finally got the chance to try it! Right off the bat we had to park in the back, and there were like 10 people ahead of us in line so I KNEW it was going to be great! It's a tiny little place, maybe 10 tables at the most, and the decor is a little dated which is just what I want in a hometown mom and pop shop. It being so small also guarantees that you're surrounded by amazing smells that are sure to make your mouth water! It also means that the food and service is so good they haven't had to try to spruce up the place to attract business! After maybe a 10 minute wait to order it was finally our turn. I believe it was Lilly taking our order, and the only other employee I saw was, I assume, her husband preparing all the food. Some people would find something wrong with this; the owners doing all the work. But personally I feel it guarantees authentic hospitality and a high quality meal every time! Another 10 or so minute wait and it was our turn to get our order. I opened the bag and gently spread out our meal on the table. The cabbage roll was reminiscent of my German grandmother's, although slightly sweeter. The spinach pie wasn't as big as I would have hoped, but the amazing flavor made up for it! The fried mushrooms were nothing short of amazing. And, above all, the gyro had SUCH an amazing flavor and consistency! None of that thinly sliced pre-packaged crap I've gotten at other places. Thick, juicy hunks of meat topped with fresh veg and smothered in "Lilly's Sauce", all wrapped in a soft, warm pita. Folks, it just doesn't get much better than this.I had every intention of ordering a falafel and baklava, but we barely finished what we had ordered, so it simply means I HAVE to go back as soon as I'm in the area! Overall this place gets a 9.5/10, with the only thing lacking as far as I'm concerned being that you must walk around the outside to reach the bathrooms. No big deal, and definitely doesn't effect the food one bit!Folks, this is one place you don't wanna miss..!“

“Somehow I forgot to review SSC when I ate here a few months ago, which is weird because I tell everyone how great it was.The ambiance here is very nice and the service is fantastic. But of course the food is the driving force here. The beef tartare was an awesome and unique appetizer that you'll only see at a high end place. The broccoli salad was excellent and presented beautifully. The duck was by far the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked on the inside with an amazing crunch and sauce on the outside. The chicken and pasta were also both great.I keep a list of restaurants in St Louis to try, from burger places to high end establishments. Sidney Street Cafe will remain at the top of that list and I'll be back for sure.“

“Had a lovely brunch there with my wife. The atmosphere is wonderful for a date night or a group outing. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional, I had a wonderful time talking to them when they stopped by. The food was good, I would argue some of it was a little tasteless for the price but overall I was happy. The best deal was the breakfast burrito, which is a weird statement to make in a classy restaurant. The lobster Benedict was okay, though the hollandaise sauce was a bit bland. The risotto was mediocre, but I lived in Italy for a few years so I have a high bar to impress. Overall I would be willing to give it another chance.“

“A great nieghborhood spot. A beautiful patio & music.Wheelchair accessibility: The main door & first room are zero step. The bar in this area is wheelchair height. They have a portable ramp that will get you up the one step into the other interior rooms & patio. The restroom is accessible with a wheelchair stall and grab bars. A power chair should fit but it will be tight.“
“I have been to Old Rock House a few times for EDM shows. It's very casual and fun. There are two floors which I love - you can be in the pit downstairs or hang upstairs for a more chill vibe and there is even some seating. There is also an outdoor area where you can get some air. They keep the temperature inside very balanced, though it gets hotter as the night goes on like most places. A bar on each floor which keeps the wait for a drink very short. They are really strict about the one drink per person rule (like if you're getting a drink for a friend, the friend has to be physically there too). I don't mind the rule but I saw others get a little grouchy about it. There is a $10 minimum. They have a great selection of liquor though nothing super fancy. Drink prices are normal and affordable for a music venue. The bartenders are super fun, especially the one named "Smash." I often see staff engaging with patrons and even dancing to the music, making the vibe really fun and welcoming. The crowds there, the times I have been there, are usually fun and polite albeit drunk. I have been offered drugs there a couple of times but no one was ever aggressive about it. There is staff everywhere so it feels safe. The crowd tends to be MESSY though - the STICKIEST floors! The bathrooms are a downside because there are only 2 stalls and the restroom is small overall. It's usually well stocked, though. The sound is pretty good for such a casual venue, too. I don't ever feel like it's muffled or too loud, the volume is balanced and it sounds good from both the bottom and the top floor. Lighting wise, they need more lasers! Parking can be a challenge at times (depending on when you get there) but there is a pretty big lot and a small area of street parking.“

“Halloween weekend - busy place and seemed a bit understaffed as our server was managing several tables as well as making drinks at the bar. However, service was timely, efficient and cheerful. I split a sandwich with an accompanying friend and our server very thoughtfully had split the check and our drink orders without us even asking- very impressive especially on a busy night! We had the Cuban and it was well prepared with crispy bread as it should be. Prices are in line with quality and quantity. Their cocktail menu is fun but most importantly the cocktails taste good. Setting is quite casual and can tend to be noisy. My only negative is I wish they had fries!“

“Stopped in for breakfast and it was delicious! Friendly and helpful staff with a nice menu of unique dishes and not loaded with entrees you’d find at a typical American restaurant. “Great bar in Soulard. My favorite. Food is solid. Drinks are drinks, games and a restaurant in the back. But up front is where the magic is. They'll have live bands often. “Jerry’s catered my wedding (135 people) in Alton last weekend. Honestly I didn’t consider any other caterers. As soon as I became engaged, my fiancé and I knew that we would only trust Jerry’s. EVERYTHING was perfect! The food was fresh, hot, and so wonderfully flavorful. They have several levels of catering available to meet most everyone’s needs. My guests had MORE than enough to eat and they raved about the food. The staff were absolutely wonderful as well—making sure everything stayed stocked and hot. They were very kind to my guests and very accommodating. Even though I visit the restaurant regularly, this exceeded my expectations and made my day that much more perfect!“

“This place was great. The price was good, the food was amazing.I had the Nutella banana pecan french toast. (Without pecans.) The only recommendation I have is to add cinnamon to the french toast mixture. And if there already is some, there should be more. (I didn't taste any.)My girlfriend had the eggs benedict and enjoyed it. This was her first time having this dish, so she is excited to try it from other places. She was confused about why it came with tomatoes (and another topping..I can't remember). Nonetheless, she enjoyed it.We got my grandma the 3 pancake sample to go. She enjoyed it. Couldn't finish it.Pictured is my Nutella banana french toast. (Note the adorable personal syrup cup!)Parking: There was ample parking. We had no issues finding a spot.“

“Stopped by for something to eat. Unbeknownst to me, they had a brunch going. It was 1pm, and I was going in wanting a burger. Since it was brunch, I decided to get the brunch smash. Comes with a sausage pattie, fried egg, and bacon. I made it a double but asked for the second patty to be beef. They sent me two sausage patties instead. They did get the add lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion right though. Asked how did I want my egg. I replied over easy. It came fried. Other than not getting what I had asked for, the sandwich was crazy good.“

“This is what we've been waiting for! Coursed menu, elevated experience from start to finish. These young chefs is going to go far and I'm here for all of it! Located downtown, the outside isn't much to look at, but as soon as you enter, you're greeted with the modern and stylish yellow and gray decor. Counter Seating and a few Tables on the perimeter shape the room. Staff is friendly and you can tell they put so much into their Service. For this restaurant, you reserve your seat online ahead of time and pre-pay the meal. My first visit was for Brunch on 9/24, the 10a Seating. 4 courses, starting with Shrimp n Grits, then French Toast, then Asian Croissant, then Honey Cake. (See Photo of menu for details). Overall, amazing!! I added the cocktail pairing which was a Mimosa and a Coffee Martini, both excellent. My only point of feedback would be that the menu was Carb forward and really could have used an Egg or Veggie forward dish as Course 3 to break it up, but all of everything tasted amazing. The restroom, yep, it's a Vibe too and very Clean. I'm motivated to come for Dinner and will be back soon!“

“We were two couples who had a late lunch at Syberg's. We are all ex-military so we did more catching up then eating. At 2 PM the restaurant was nearly empty, which surprised us. Our server, Tony, was great! He remained available even though we were focused on talking. My husband and I ordered the fish and chips. The fish is heavily breaded but the fish was cooked well. The fries are like slices rather then the typical long, thin pieces. They were nice and crispy. Our one friend ordered a salad --huge with lots (and lots) of lettuce. He was underwhelmed. His wife ordered a daily special. I didn't hear any review either way. Would we go again? Probably not. There was nothing inherently wrong with Syberg's other than their online menu was woefully out of date. There are just too many other exciting places to go in the Fairview Heights/O'Fallon area.“

“Nice family restaurant. Very clean, but worn out torn and broken booth seats, Wide selection menu. Servers polite but indifferent failing to provide silverware and bringing all food (soup/salad, main items,) out almost together so a main dish gets cold if you try to eat your salad or soup. Food is basically good, probably better if you skip the starters so it's warmer. Prices are fair. Might return for simple sandwich if in area for lunch AND then a GREAT dessert nextdoor at Bobby's!“
