“My 1st time here, I did enjoy the atmosphere, but the food was average. I was surprised that I couldn't request how I wanted my beef cooked. I always want it well done, but my server said that all meat has to be cooked medium, so I took a chance at it. I saw too much pink, and had to pick through my patty melt. Was disappointed, but the seasoned fries were very good! The Kenosha curds were good, but over fried. They seemed like they're not battered in house, but pre frozen. So I won't order those again. Our server was not very friendly, just average. I did like my razzmatazz margarita, but had too much h ice in it. I definitely enjoyed the Live Band that was performing!“

“As always our meal was great and the service exemplary. Thomas was our waiter and he is great at explaining the specials and helping us choose the perfect wine. My only complaint about Region is that is is not bigger and thus hard to get into for a spontaneous meal.“

“First time at the Pizza Pushers, ordered takeout. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice clean cozy dining area. Ordered a sausage pizza and a Wild Hog. The pizza was delicious and could tell made with fresh, quality ingredients. For a guy that does Friday night date night every week in my opinion I got lots of good food for the price. I think next time I’ll eat there and enjoy a beer with my pizza.“

“Authentic Tex-Mex food including most favorites, such as tacos, burritos, gorditas, and tomolles. I especially appreciate the well cooked and spiced home-style take of their gorditas. While their portions are not as large as their competitor close by. I believe their dishes more then make up for that with flavor and an authenticity. The homestyle taste rather than the usual standard expected of this type of Mexican restaurant makes them stand out.“

“We were looking for a breakfast place in Volo while waiting for the museum to open and this place didn't disappoint.its not much looking from the outside but the food was excellent.. we had ham off the bone ,my friend had egg pizza of some sort and it was amazing..the waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Food portion was more than enough but we finished it all. The place was very clean. There's gaming too and a good size bar.. we will definitely come back for lunch next time and see what they offer..“

“What is wrong with me, I've haven't talked about Sal's? There are many things wrong with me, and that 4000 page book is for another time. The little pizza places are what I always look for. Sal's is a staple. Don't be fooled by it's location and exterior appearance, this workhorse is around the corner of a 7-eleven building. The appearance is small but internally, thanks to the hard workers doing their thing, they produce some great pizza. Their tavern style is classic, thin (but not cracker thin) crust has generous, tangy sauce, and hearty, fresh toppings. I like that the sausage isn't too salty like other places. Don't sleep on their wings, they are meaty and done right. Sal's is 100% pickup or delivery. They have other options for pizza, appetizers, hot sandwiches, pasta, ribs, salad, etc. Dave Portnoy recently put them on an extended map..beyond word of mouth from locals. I never expected him to show up near my neck of the woods, but if he was in search of a "real deal" or "go-to" tavern-style pizza, he made the right decision. Even without One Bite, Sal's was already award-winning. Be sure to use their coupons as they gladly accept them.“

“So soooooo good! Talk about pizza... the ingredients are fresh and plentiful, cheese just the right texture and amount, crust crispy and satisfying so much so that you can eat 2 (maybe 3 pieces ) and not feel STUFFED! Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is nostalgically comfortable. Our 11 month grandbaebae was happily acknowledged by all waitstaff though they were busily weaving thru the tables with their pizza pies and libations. They offered to take a picture of our group of 6 afterwards, as we were celebrating our son's birthday. On our return home, realizing an item wrapped in a napkin, was left behind and most likely tossed, I called and the owner (Jerry O.) offered to look thru the waste and by the time I returned to the restaurant, seeing him with a smile on his face, I knew he had found it !! That's going the extra mile... hurray to Uncle Jerry and his crew !!“

“My husband discovered this restaurant has an entirely gluten-free menu and is farm-to-table. The offerings were so good! On our first visit, we began with the charcuterie board and bruschetta, then two of us had a scallop special, and my son had the flat iron steak. All the bread was fresh and excellent--not "for being GF" but just plain good. The dessert choices were interesting and my husband had the lemon poppy seed cake with a lemon sauce. And the wine list was phenomenal! A fun mix of specialty cocktails, too!We have returned multiple times and had consistently good food and service. The menu evolves to incorporate seasonal items.“

Ribs were fall off the bone, chicken was moist and delicious, and the sausage is my new favorite food in town. Not to mention, all the staff are super friendly, and the highlight of my visit!Lived here for 20 years and always passed by (never even knew it was a restaurant) but I HIGHLY reccomend stopping to try!“

“We visited on Monday for brunch, so no waiting & super fast service, but this probably varies depending on when you visit. But the menu was extraordinary! Great selection of breakfast, brunch, and lunch items. We tried 2 skillets, both plentiful and full of flavor. The pancakes, sometimes an afterthought at restaurants, were especially delicious! Definitely worth many more visits!! Great find!!“

“I've been going to Olando's for at least a decade now, and have yet to have a bad experience there. My most recent trip with my fiancee was no exception. The servers are friendly and helpful, the food is delivered quickly (even when they are busy), the portions are huge and the quality of the food is outstanding. While I've had their pizza before and really enjoyed it, I constantly find myself drawn to the "Bootie," an Italian beef sandwich topped with mozzarella cheese. It's got enough au jus in the sandwich to make it very flavorful (though next time I'll probably ask for some extra on the side, as I love sandwiches like this extra wet).My fiancee was impressed by the salad that came with her dinner, noting that it looked and tasted like it was made fresh to order. And she couldn't believe the serving size of her plate of lasagna. If there is a complaint - and I use that term very loosely - it's that there is so much good food served in the course of a meal that neither of us had room for dessert! Some day, I will sample the wares from Diana's Dream, the ice cream parlor that is part of Olando's... but for this particular visit, we left full and happy, and can't wait to visit again!July 2019“

“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

“I cannot say enough good things about Black and Gray Brewery! I have been a few times and always have had a phenomenal experience between the amazing brews, kindest staff, and immaculate vibes. A few weekends ago, we hosted my brother’s 30th birthday at Black and Gray and it was absolutely perfect. As always, the staff went above and beyond to make the experience amazing for the entire party and the drinks were superb too. If you are thinking of visiting Black and Gray, do it. You will not be disappointed but rather will find your new favorite spot for some great beers. Thank you Black and Gray for always being the best of the best! Cannot wait to come back soon.“

“Love the food here, great quality at reasonable prices. The owners are very polite and work hard to get every order done properly. We never have had a problem with their service. I highly recommend the fish tacos and the Tortas.Dietary restrictions: My son has a gluten allergy and this is one of the rare places where he doesn't get sick due to cross contamination. Big reason why we still go here.“

“Need to look twice that this restaurant is celebrating 40 years at this location when service and kitchen has not missed a mark in that time. Comments are well deserved about the quality of margaritas but it the kitchen that carries the dinning experience. If there is a need for refresh, it’s a decoration here or there and maybe that just confirms this is the place of the last tasty dining experience and not disappointed on the revisit again. Congratulations el Molino.“

“We played a show at the theater next to this place. Had dinner here. WOW!!!! The service was very good and friendly. But the food!! I had a huge burger with bacon, egg, and hashbrowns. It was huge and incredible. Wife had a chicken wrap, she said was incredible as well. The incredible food combined with the small town friendly atmosphere makes this place well worth the stop. I love how they "branded" the bun.“

“The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the ladies working here are so nice. I ordered the ginger tea and was blown away. Strong and full of flavor. This is the best ginger tea I have ever had. You can tell this is made fresh and not with a tea bag. My husband and I split the fried calamari it was perfectly cooked, chewy but not rubbery at all! My husband ordered the Thai fried rice with shrimp. He loved the flavor he just wish that they took the tails off the shrimp. He said he would definitely order it again. I had the Long Life Soup with extra Vegetables. I am normally not a fan of clear glass noodles but this soup was so delicious and I really enjoyed eating it! This restaurant is very clean, they play instrumental music and put white paper on the tables. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if your in the area.“

“This is one of the best places I ever met when I spent some time living in Chicago, I'm Mexican and the taste of the food is pretty loyal to the original taste here in Mexico, the burritos are awesome and the owner make a really really spicy but delicious sauce, made it with "Ghost Chile", great place, nice environment, and wonderful people working there. “We have eaten here many times over the years. The food and staff are great! This last time we came in for a carry-out order and our food was accidentally handed out to a Grub-hub delivery person. How Tanya (sp?) and her staff handled the snafu was nothing short of AWESOME! It couldn't have been handled any better. Accidents happen and we totally understood that. We really appreciated the professionalism and the expeditiousness of getting our order remade so quickly. Just another reason we will keep coming back. Thank you, Tanya for handling that so well.“

“Fun tiki like atmosphere inside, but you don’t really get good views of the water from inside restaurant. I got the bbq bacon burger and it was great! The fries were a seasoned kind, they were good but not my fave. The mister got the all you eat fish fry. They bring out two fried cod pieces at a time. The beer battered fish was great and so was tartar sauce, especially the spicy one was fantastic! Only complaint is we waited awhile for another serving of fish - but when it came out it was hot and fresh! We asked for side of blue cheese and some hot sauce - be aware they charge you for 75 cent for every sauce without letting you know.“
