“Was in the neighborhood and I stopped by. Italian beef sandwich is amazing. Loaded with beef. Only thing that happened was that I ordered an Italian combo and I got just a regular Italian beef. Giardiniera was not spicy at all and I do like spicy. Otherwise, will probably be back.Parking: There is a parking lot on the side of the building.“

“The food here is phenomenal! I would give this place ten stars. I got the butter chicken bowl, full of hummus, baba ganoush, veggies, sauces, feta etc! The bowls are a nice portion. I will ALWAYS go to this place I swear. The taste? VERY GOOD! The way they place the portions in the bowl, sets me on an actual journey when I eat. Spoon after spoon after spoon, omg, I have to slow down, damn this food is good. The taste is fresh. The taste is refreshing. The meat is seasoned just right. The meat is clean; no bones or gristle or fat. Next time I will get the steak bowl. I've been eating while typing this entire time. “Fry the coop easily has one of if not the BEST chicken sandwiches out there right now. The seasoned fries are also absolutely amazing. The reason I leave the three stars instead of five in service is because of how unfair the takeout is. SIDENOTE: I have no problems with the workers at all. These are the bags they are told to fill so they do it. The workers here are great people. I have come to this location for years (since roughly the second week of it’s opening) and the last few times I’ve ordered take out, the serving of fry’s has been SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the amount of fries you get if you dine in. I get it, it’s just fries, BUT if I’m going to pay roughly eighteen dollars for the same meal I should receive the same amount someone who is dining in receives. The photos include ALL the fries that came with the order (I took the fries out of the bottom of the bag as well and put them in there).TL;DR: great food, takeout portion of fries is MUCH smaller yet still fully priced“

“The fish and food is soooo good! I live in Atlanta but was able to pull up when I was in Chicago last year. I love that they are opened late for those late night cravings. They only had one woman taking orders and she was working like an ox all with the best attitude! She definitely could have used some help. “A really great little place. My go-to for grilled burgers. If I had to say anything negative, maybe the sides of feta are a little small for the price. But I can always get that at the grocery store.It's somewhat greasy, good food when you have a taste for it.Dietary restrictions: I have a fish allergy, and I've never had a reaction from any of the food. It was around $15, which, when places like McDonald's want $13 for a Big Mac meal, there's really no point in NOT paying the extra $2 for something that tastes this amazing. “Food was good but we drove a long way to eat there their seating inside is. Very limited. They had only like 10 tables for 2 that was disappointing and then their ice machine was broken for drinks. We did get one table in one room and the other couple we were with was in the other room.“

“It was a little after 9:00pm on a Saturday, when I spotted this J & J Restaurant. I went inside to place my order and was immediately impressed by its cleanliness. The floor, tables/seats, counters and the food preparation area...all very clean.The young woman that took my order was friendly and courteous. There was only one person ahead of me, however, some people had phoned in their orders, so there was a waiting period. I didn't mind because the time went so quickly. Also, unlike other J & J's, this one has a drive-thru.I ordered 3 dinners to go; a small jack salmon, a small ocean perch and a 6 pc. chicken wing dinner. Extras included an order of fried okra, hush puppies and a corn on the cob (a full size ear). Each dinner included:French fries, a very small cup of coleslaw and 2 slices of white bread in addition to the mild and hot sauce they provide.The fish was fried to perfection, light and crispy, not greasy. The chicken was also fried to perfection, crispy and not hard or greasy. All the side dishes were well prepared. Since none of us eats coleslaw or white bread, I can't speak about them.As for being different, in addition to its drive-thru, this J & J offers a variety of foods that I've never seen offered in any of the others; tacos, spaghetti, and a selection of salads, just to name a few.“

“I love ❤️ gio's every thing I have ordered has been good but I hope everything stays consistent I ordered the grilled chicken salad it is one of my favorite but it was a bit off today chicken is normally warm and fresh but it was hard and cold and they tolded me you can't get but one pk of dressing the salad is a decent size for what I pay but it needs to pk but other then that it was good place stays consistent on the food“

A guy was talking crazy to the cashier and another yelling about his food time even though he just came in . You must be aware when visiting this places. It say be careful at all time. “Used to be a goto place for pizza puffs after a night out. Stopped here recently and the pizza puffs weren't cooked through at all. Hope it was just the one time. There used to be the same guy that worked the drive up window for years. Not sure if he's still around.“

William was amazing with answering questions and when I mentioned a food allergy in the party he immediately went in back to grab to item I was concerned about to let me check the ingredients myself. “A very good beef and sausage! Prices have increased $3 to $5 higher in the last two years. I doubt if they ever get lowered. Service is fast but no place to eat inside unless you want to stand at a counter. Outside seating is available but only 4 tables. It is purely takeout place. For a family of 4 your going to spend $45 to 50 for 4 regular beefs and 2 large fries.“
