“They have amazing food. I've been for breakfast and lunch. Everything I've tried I've loved, especially the multi-grain pancakes with fruit and sugar free syrup. I've invited friends and they loved as well. Staff is sweet and attentive. Returned after covid to find a beautifully remodeled restaurant, new owners, management or both, new delicious menu. Must try.Parking: They have great food, lots of parking, but they draw people in because of their reputation. Worth the wait.“

“These guys always have my order ready in 30 minutes or less ( usually 20 minutes). The food is great, my family and I go here for a little treat every now and again. The price is a little higher but totally worth it. “The historic house provided a wonderful atmosphere and a great view of the Mississippi below. Ordered cocktails, salmon, turkey dinner, and chocolate chip cookie with ice cream dessert. Everything was delicious! They had local spirits from Mississippi River Distilling. I ate just the right amount of food. As a garlic lover, the garlic salad was awesome! My husband could have eaten more, but was satisfied with the quality of food.Vegetarian options: The entire menu is limited (but good). They offer vegetarian pasta and salads“

“This was a cute and quaint little place. You could tell they absolutely have regulars that know the waitress' name (Suzy I think?). She was very nice and likely the only waitress that actually works there. She handled 5 tables at once with ease. This place is pretty small (5 tables in the room we were in and another 2-3 near the entrance/kitchen). They surprisingly had a lot of options on the menu and although it is a bbq place, my coworker and I did not try it as we had a long day ahead of us! They sell breakfast, bbq and lunch all day though so whenever the desire strikes, you can eat it here! We both ended up getting cheeseburgers and they were good! I realized we weren't asked how we wanted the meat cooked, but it came out well-done which is how I would have asked for it anyway. The meat was still tender and juicy. The fries were also just a little crispy, which I enjoyed and the coleslaw was sweet and delicious ( and I don't like many people's coleslaw)! It felt like a family atmosphere and it was a nice little place. I'd definitely come back to try the BBQ if I was ever back in this area.“

I let my fenamine child pick a place... Being a typical teen, she thought this place looks 'cool'... The woman related my marriage gave me a death stare for trusting a 'child' (she is 19) for our dinner fate... We got there roughly at 9:30pm...there were bars and happenings in the area... It was loud and lots lots of happiness... More death stare from... This place that we ate was Amazing! The food and service were just beyond our expectation for a bar?! We ordered the following: * Buffalo chicken dip(appetizer) * Blacken Fish Tacos * Sea Worthy Burger Let me say this without hesitation the appetizer has more originally and taste than any appetizers I have had in the past decade from any restaurant... My burger was a double stack cooked perfectly( medium rare - without being asked)... The fish taco was just devine - it has cut mangos! Look I know there are good restaurants out there... Seriously, this is by far the BEST food I have EVER EATEN from a bar... Did I mentioned they have live music? This place is a gem! Love to come back.“

“I went here in 2023 when I was in town for a tournament. They had a few vegan options and the food was great. I came back in January 2024 and they don't have the tofu anymore, but they have a rice and black bean bowl which was really good. The person working there said that they normally keep some tofu on hand, but it wasn't fresh when I came.“

“We went for the steak and potato Friday special - I was very happy with it - the person cooking new what Medium was - The steak had great seasoning and was cooked perfectly - The baked potato was nice large potato - Salad was great as well - it has lettuce - tomato - cucumbers - cheese - and croutons.“

“Great Quad Cities style pizza! Their sausage mushroom is delicious! I love the amount of toppings that they included. They are worth the cost! I would eat this pizza every single time I visit the Quad Cities, as we are from out of state. The quad cities has "ruined me" on many other pizzas in Ohio because they are so good!!! I heard this is the style that started it all, so it's worth a try if you're around here!!!“

“One of the best meals I've had in my life! Our server, Dominic was very attentive and did an excellent job on smoking my old fashioned and presenting the Bananas Foster table side. The view from the restaurant of the river is pretty nice at sunset. I had the scallops and my wife had the duck. Both were outstanding. We were there for my wife's birthday and there was a “Happy Birthday “ sign on the table when we arrived. Prices are in line with a high end restaurant and well worth it! I highly recommend this place!“

“Bree and Mitch were amazing to work with! We have eaten there as a family a few times, but most recently Tapp 22 catered our Workers Memorial Event at the USW Local 105 Union Hall. The Food and service were phenomenal. We had roughly 75 people stay and eat and there was plenty of food for everyone. We got a lot of compliments on our choice for catering. We will definitely be using them again in the future either at the hall or the restaurant. Cannot go wrong here.“

“Really love this place, great service and the food is also excellent. My favorite there is the blueberry pancakes they are thin and full of blueberries. Also the blueberries are cooked in to the batter not that trash where they just pour a bunch of blueberry sauce on top.“

It is a small dining area with only a couple of tables but most pizza places are carry out or delivery only. We will go here again soon.“

“I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and it’s pretty much the same Ming wah as ever. People saying it’s different (worse) because of new owners have their nostalgia glasses on. The food portions might be a bit smaller but let’s be honest, old Ming wah was going broke, and them giving away waaay too much food wasn’t helping. Food tastes fine and restraunt is clean. Service wasn’t bad at all.“

“Yen Ching's was always my favorite chinese restaurant. When I first had their cuisine they were located down by SouthPark and on Brady Street in Davenport. They had the best sizzling rice soup! We would always order Dinner for Two (Mongolian Beef & Garlic Chicken) However, I fell in love w/Yen Ching Beef, so we would have them substitute that dish in place of the Garlic Chicken! The crab ragoons were also way better than anywhere else. But you did have to order their own sweet & sour sauce for like a $2 fee (which was the bright red) as opposed to the sweet & sour they gave you in the packets (which was yellowish orange) and tasted awful. The service was always top notch. And they got to know us & what our usual order was. Special instructions and all! I drink a very specific vodka & order it a certain way. They would see me & already be preparing my drink w/out my having to order it. Which was nice if the person I'm having dinner with doesn't need to know I'm drinking. Just a very classy, and cool thing to do. Special instructions and all. It really made us feel like V.I.P's. Imagine how excited I was when we moved to the Milwaukee area. And as my fiancee's and I were carpooling together for our new jobs (Best Buy for him & Wisconsin Color Press for me) We were heading down Good Hope Road....and we see a Yen Ching chinese restaurant sign on the right hand side of the road. I scream...OMG...pull in here! I run in and speak w/the owner while checking their menu. I ask if they are affiliated with the Yen Ching restaurants in DeKalb, Moline, & Davenport? She replies..."Yes, Moline & Davenport are my older sister's restaurants. DeKalb is my younger sister's...it's a college campus popular hangout. I'm helping her get in to the swing of things while she finishes up the rest of her classes. And yes....the menu & family recipe's are all the same! I was ecstatic! Our weekly visits, to what we considered the best chinese food ever, could continue. We were only in Wisconsin a year, then back to Bettendorf for 2 years, then we moved to the Chicagoland suburbs & settled in Naperville. Very posh, very yuppy and very upscale. One day we're out shopping and driving around getting to know our new area. And to our surprise, about 25 minutes from our subdivision, we spot a Yen Ching's chinese restaurant! We decide to have a late lunch here regardless of whether or not it is "Our Yen Ching's". Of course, after being seated we begin to recognize the ambiance, the menu, even some of the people working there. Yen Ching's was never one of the chinese food places that delivered your order to your house approximately 7 minutes after you ordering it. So, it wasn't the quickest or the easiest to have....but it was so nice to have our comfort chinese food (something we know & love) in all the new places we moved. We had lost so many of our favorite places...Frank's Pizza, Ross' Magic Mountains, Adolph's Tacos, Rudy's Taco's, Happy Joe's BLT/Taco pizza, Brueger's Bagels....they would all be so missed. But hey, we did have our weekly Dinner for Two date nights at Yen Ching's!“

“Stopped in on the afternoon of 4/6/24 - Allee was taking care of us, and is wonderful!!! Made great recommendations! The Burnt Ends appetizer was spot on. And the Brisket Philly is a great sandwich. Highly recommend this stop, from the front patio with firepit to the back patio with big screen, wonderful spaces and atmosphere.“
