“Somehow got lucky and got seated as we walked in. A quick summary:1.) Ordered Sen Cha tea, beef gyoza, and Monster ramen. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great. Only thing I didn’t like was the limited menu add on options compared to some other ramen places around Chicago.2.) Parking can be difficult to find in the area when it’s busy.3.) Service is top line. They refill waters/tea and clear dishes so fast. Dessert menu came immediately after the main course.“

“my favorite is ox tail phở, only available on the weekends. the noodles are wide, just like how i ate in Saigon growing up. most of the Viet restaurants in the US use the thin noodles (to me that’s hủ tiếu).the choice here is limited, no combination phở with tripe. no poached egg add on. but that’s not a big deal to me, still my favorite phở in Chicago.ps. thank you for the drinks, coffee and all the tea/soda :)“

“A long overdue review. Noodlebird is one of the best restaurants in Chicago. Every dish is full-flavored, bold, and made with thoughtful and creative pairings. The smoked tofu is incredible, the curry is my favorite, the peanut noodles are so soft and delicious, and the veggie Mac soup is one of my favorites. The bakery is also one of the best in the city. The creative desserts like mochi doughnuts, banana caramel brownie (my favorite brownie ever), the egg tarts (a must if you’ve never tried), the passion fruit Masada, and so many more are the perfect way to end the meal. The service is top notch, timely, super friendly, and warm.Noodlebird deserves any and all accolades for its super-creative dishes, friendly service, intensely flavored food, etc.“

“The food is delicious. Im really glad I stopped by and tried the pad thai thai iced tea and the crab ragoon . Everything 5 starts!!! Even if the place is small is comfortable and clean! “Clean modern place right next to Home Depot . It's not some dark worn out place . Decor is crisp !Loved that the menu is short and it is an open kitchen- you can see all the cooks. They all wore gloves and masks ! Way to go !We had spring rolls , crispy wings in peanut sauce , beef pho and spicy beef noodle . Yum yum ! They also have daily specials that I noticed only when leaving. Those specials sounded better than the regular menu .This is going to be my weekly spot !“

“Our first time here, it was last minute and we chose it based on a picture someone posted of a soup. We were pleasantly surprised to come in on a Sunday afternoon and we were provided with a table in one of their private rooms. We chose several options and when we tasted the soup, it was soo delicious. Everything was great. Can't wait to go back. We even got additional stuff to go.Kid-friendliness: The kids were offered a kiddie cocktail and they got a kick out of it.“

“We have eaten here twice, once dine-in and later, take-out. The delivery was faster than they promised online, and the food was hot. I can say without qualification that I have never had better Thai in three decades of trying. The flavors in each dish are vibrant and sometimes surprising ... it's an experience I expect at a Michelin starred restaurant, but from takeout. Wtf.“

“The people were so friendly, very talkative..it reminded me of how Greek families of old ran their own businesses. The food is amazing in look, style presentation and taste. Alot of selections and the first time I tried the coconut ice cream with strawberries my tongue was in love. Love this place.“

“Good food. I usually hit sushi spots, ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI. I was kind of iffy about trying a new spot for almost 30, but for the new experience I had to try. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Plenty of flavor. Crab Rangoon is good. Might actually be a new spot for me.“

“Absolutely amazing. I was blown away by the flavor. Like no other Thai food that I have experienced. Beyond 5 stars. I was spellbound. If you like Thai food, you need to give this place a try. It's a shame I don't live in Chicago, because I find myself daydreaming about it and wanting to fly across a quarter of the country JUST to eat here!“

“We wandered in just cuz it looked cool and it knocked it out of the park. While we decided what to order they gave us samples of their chicken jalapeño lumpia and chatted with us. We got the mixed mini lumpia, pork skewers, BBQ Bulgogi Bao, crab lumpia and a coconut smoothie. All of it was so incredibly good. I can’t wait to go back - we’ll definitely dine in next time.“

“Ordered delivery and everything was fresh, crispy and still hot. Thai ice tea was great. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai & Wide Noodle Pad Thai, pot stickers & garlic roasted egg drop soup. That soup alone I will be ordering by the quarts. Food was awesome! Soup is my favorite since I've been searching for this kind of soup for awhile now. Future loyal customer here.“

“New spot in the neighborhood! Restaurant’s decor is simple yet very roomy, an ideal spot for those who dislike to be enclosed or squished. It’s family owned restaurant so the atmosphere was very comfortably and quiet.Food was phenomenal, fresh and delicious! But most importantly reasonable priced. The service was friendly and fast. We had Pho and broth was rich and aromatic filled with lots of toppings. We also had Bo La Lot which was beautifully presented. Then we also had Bun Cha Ha Noi, amazing and authentic. Bun bo hue was delicious. I can say that all dishes taste great. It’s must try restaurant!“

“So far this is my favorite sushi place in Chicago. The food is phenomenal and reasonably priced. The service is fantastic as well. One small thing: every now and then I’ll get a plate with some very pretty artwork on it made from the sauce. I don’t always get it, but I really appreciate whoever is taking the time to make it!“

“Don’t let the name fool you. This place is as authentic as anything you’ll find on Argyle. They have all the usual dishes but come here to try something less common. I had the crab rangoon and liked their homemade version of this typical guilty pleasure dish. Then I had Bún Riêu which was light and flavorful. It’s attached to a Filipino grocery and seafood store, and some other Filipino and Asian food stalls, restaurants, and bakeries so there’s lots to explore and taste.“
“Been coming here for some many times and the food always served hot fresh and fast..food tastes always amazing portion and prices reasonable..if you love wonton with noddles this is your place..serve with different topping your choice price varies..always serve hot“

“Great, fast dinner. Best dishes are Cantonese, but they make versions of Szechuan and Hunan specialties. Very good wonton soup, as you'd expect of their namesake. Did I mention fast. Carry out orders usually ready in 5-10 minutes. Nice to dine in or carry out.“

“With so many Chinese/Asian options, Katy's Dumplings- Oak Park can easily be missed. But don't! Don't miss out on good quality food with reasonable pricing and good portions. Our go to is definitely their General Taos Chicken. It manages to remain crispy and saucy at the same time! It has a perfect balance of sweetness and heat. Their noodle dishes are also amazing! Great flavor and so filling! Our son loves their noodles and their fried rice!“

“After being charmed out of my panties by the Noodles & Company location downtown Chicago, I sought out the nearest location to my neighborhood which happened to be this location in River Forest. Along with bookmarking, I even joined the Noodles Rewards program which came in handy during this visit. My visit came at the spur of the moment after leaving work before nearing the Dwight D. Eisenhower Expressway. Rather than exit off of Eisenhower Expressway, I headed for this location via Harlem Ave. I loved that there are plentiful parking spots available not just within its space alone, but within the plaza as well which has alternatives. Even with more knowledge of the menu compared to my initial experience at the downtown location, I had only one item on my mind to order. The LEANguini Fresca with IMPOSSIBLE Chicken which has become my go-to option from Noodles & Company. I ordered a Spindrift Sparkling Water - Mango Orange along with my LEANguini Fresca which was completed in no more than five minutes, and I was well on my way. I wasted no time eating the LEANguini Fresca with IMPOSSIBLE Chicken after taking pictures to share on yelp; it was definitely satisfying as I expected it to be. Going forward, I just cannot see myself ordering it without IMPOSSIBLE Chicken because its taste would not be the same along with its visual appeal in my opinion. Along with the location downtown Chicago, I would gladly consider visiting and ordering from this location in River Forest again. Atmosphere: 4 | Service: 5 | Food: 4 Recommendations: Buttered Noodles, Penne Rose, Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, Pasta Fresca, Pesto Cavatappi, Spaghetti with Marinara, LEANguini Rosa with IMPOSSIBLE Chicken or LEANguini Fresca. Other recommendations: Thoroughly looking at the menu which lists what items are vegetarian, gluten sensitive, or spicy. And also joining the Noodles Rewards program because it will save you money. ~ A positive mind finds opportunity in everything. ~ Thomas G“
