“We have been coming here for years and honestly love the whole look of the place inside and out. The customer service has always been amazing, but honestly the area and the price for the food is always worth it. My wife never have a complaint when we come here.“

“Today was my first time trying this place, and after seeing the reviews, i was just expecting a generally good burger. I was genuinely surprised by the PHENOMENAL burger and fries! The shake was good as well. This was honestly the best burger i've had in a really long time. I will definitely be eating here again. I hate doing reviews, but they deserve the praise.“

“Super cute walk up diner style custard shop. It's a family affair with husband, wife and kids, (as well as local high-school students) greet you with a smile. I've seen them patiently training and shadowing the young workers on how to ring up orders, make change, and deliver the items ordered, which is refreshing, since most on job training lately seems to be "figure it out." The custard is delicious, super fresh made with quality ingredients, small batches, a new flavor of the day and always the tried and true flavors; Chocolate and Vanilla. If the flavor of the day isn't your thing, you can always buy a pint of a flavor from earlier in the week, handpacked in a pint container and frozen solid. Just thaw it on the counter about 30 min. They also offer Coffee, Water, tons of sundaes and shakes, special treats, AND a non dairy option of a frozen pineapple whip, which is really tasty. Open 3 to 9 Monday to Saturday (closed Sunday) Give it a try this summer. You'll be glad you did.“

“Took my kids there over the weekend. Timed it with an ice cream flavor I knew two of us would try. Kids and I absolutely loved it. Young lady working the front register was very patient while taking my kids orders. She even read back the order to make sure she got everything. We ate under their pergola which was nice. The traffic on route 45 wasn’t the best to listen to but the overall experience was great. Please note that if you have not been before they have vanilla, chocolate and a flavor of the day.“
“Went in a few days ago and was greeted by the owner who totally over-served my 2 kids in the best way possible. We ordered minis and he gave huge portions with lots of the toppings we ordered. You could see he did it because he thought it was fun and wanted to see my girls happy. That's a perfect local business, and one that serves up delicious treats alongside the excellent and warm service.“

“Pros: Donuts made fresh to order, so you get them warm! Many varieties to choose from.Cons: Their donuts are on the cake-y side. Not my cup of tea. And they don't have filled donuts like Boston creams. We got there around 2pm when the place was empty. Service was prompt (duh) but I wouldn't call it warm.Since I prefer raised or filled donuts, I probably won't be coming back.“

“Food was very good. I ended up with chilaquiles (with chicken breast) and my friend got the pupusas and dobladas. Really solid, and I appreciate the subtle differences in flavors between the Guatamalan dishes and standard Mexican fare. However, only 4/5 because ordering (in English) was difficult. I tried to get grilled skirt steak and a green chicken enchilada (as a single item, listed that way on the menu) but what was originally brought out was 3 green chicken enchiladas. I explained the issue and thought it was clear but ended up getting brought the chilaquiles. My friend got his pupusas but the dobladas was not brought and had to be ordered again. The food was delicious and I'm not a picky eater so this wasn't a huge deal, but others that need to order a specific thing, in English, may have trouble. I will be back though, and I will brush up on my Spanish.“

“The Ice cream and candy was amazing. It is really cute and the service is great. My only small problem is that the ice cream was to sweet and the actual flavor did not really shine through. The cost is a little high for the amount of ice cream you get. Overall great experience and would definitely go back again.Kid-friendliness: The staff is incredibly nice and helped my kids. My kids get scared when talking to strangers, but the staff was patient with them. I want to thank this staff member very much. You made this all much easier that it would have been.“

“The raspberry cheesecake (the free cookie I picked for my birthday) was a delightful surprise. I liked the crust/cookie crumble that was under the actual soft cheesecake part. The raspberry jam was also great to pair with it. It's for sure a "non" cookie, cookie item. But I think it was a wonderful thing to try! The service was great. I ordered via app and hit "I'm here" when I arrived and they packed it and handed it to me within a few minutes. The ambiance is a cute shop that is for take out only.“

“Amazing place. I suggest changing the name to the Michoacana Elite! I was amazed at how nice it looked compared to any other location I have visited. The food is fusion, and the samosa smash pizza was to die for. I highly recommend this place! Of course, the sweets are fantastic, “

“It's an ice cream stand. Return from the Marytown Shrine, I couldn't ignore the 'flavor of the say - blueberry " sign calling me. Many flavor served in cones, shakes, Sundays or concretes. I had a the blueberry as a malt. Proper flavor levels for the blueberry and the sweetness, not overly sweet. Great formulation, thick but it would move through the straw. Solid place. Service? The got the order correct, prepared it promptly and the change was correct. No problems. Would return“

“Great little BIPOC owned & run confectionery. Lots of chocolates, gummies, baked goods & an ice cream shop to boot. Everything is fresh (not sitting around for weeks & months like many candy shops). And the folks there are pleasant. The aesthetic is nostalgic & sits in a cute, dutch-themed shopping area.Need something for A birthday or holiday? They come up with the cutest themed concepts for every celebratory day you can think of. I am a huge fan of the cashew ladybugs (caramel, cashews & chocolate)…not common everywhere.A bit pricey, but matches its location & I’m never disappointed.“

“Yesss I love a long time Iove for Suzy's & have been missing it since it left Gurnee! So glad I was able to stop into this location. So clean and tidy here. Tons for flavor options. It is kind of tucked away in the back corner of the complex but tons of signs with clean directions. Tons of toppings to choose from. Price is by cup which I like so you know exactly how you are paying. Check out their social Media as they have deals like half price days. Worker was super kind and had lots of energy. There are a few table options inside and options outside too. Hope to be back soon!“

“There’s no doubt that this is the best ice cream shop in the greater Chicagoland area, however the staff is what makes the experience much more worth it each time we come. We came in a few nights ago and were helped by the lovely manager Zelle, who made my little brother’s birthday 10x better by not only treating him to a delicious sundae with a fun candy face and lots of sprinkles, but served it with a beautiful smile! Her and other staff were having lots of fun behind the counter and engaging in jokes and conversation with my family. They really made us feel like we were old friends to them, like regulars that they’ve known their whole lives, something you really don’t see anymore. You would think that’s how every service worker would be while working in ice cream? Nope, only at this Graeter’s. Thank you Zelle and thank you Graeter’s team!“
“Loveeee their açaí bowl! I replace the coconut with peanut butter, it's amazing! A place I crave all the time! It's also super clean and cute in there as well! Definitely an Instagram worthy cute spot- they have froyo and a bunch of other things too!“

“Best ice cream in Chicagoland hands down, even compared to fancy places like Jeni’s or Kurimu. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and it never disappoints! Their standard flavors like cookie dough and chocolate are delicious but the Asian flavors are where they shine! Matcha, Thai tea, ube, and coconut are always gonna be delicious, but if you’re feeling adventurous, maiz (sweet corn), queso, and avocado flavors are amazing and hard to find outside of the Philippines. I’d also recommend trying their bubble shakes, which are any flavor milkshake with boba/tapioca.“

“This past November marked the very 1st time trying this landmark ice cream parlor for dessert after trying a famed pizzeria nearby in town for the 1st time as well.Covered Bridge Creamery is a real treat for Long Grove and the residents are lucky to have this gem. I was told by one of the owners that they get jam-packed in the summer as does the rest of the downtown with all the festivities. The Latina lady working that evening was very kind and it's that type of warm & inviting customer service that keeps you coming back and not to mention it is Chocolate Shoppe which is some of the finest ice cream you'll ever have. Not sure when they'll reopen, guessing in the spring when the outside slowly starts turning green again and the weather starts warming up again as well.Excellent ice cream at still reasonable prices in a cozy rustic setting with outdoor seating as well. I try my best to support local and I wish the owner(s) continued success & prosperity.?“

“So. Many. Flavors.Never have I been sadder about being dairy sensitive! We just got a paleta and mangonada but the ice cream flavors had me staring at the ice cream case like a five year old ready to get on a sugar high. They really do have a ton of flavors in both ice cream and paletas. Next time I definitely want to try watermelon instead of the strawberry kiwi.Honestly a really nice place to stop on our way home from a walk at Openlands. They have board games/bar games at many of the tables inside to amuse the kids (or anyone) and seemed like a pretty kid friendly shop.“
“The best of the best in the area - Capanari's Ice Cream. They are very comparable to Oberweis Ice Cream. Capannari is open seasonally from March until Halloween usually. They have rotating seasonal/weekly flavors along with your classic Ice Cream flavors - I really like the Madagascar Vanilla Milkshakes. The workers are also very friendly, there's a patio and garden outside you can enjoy your ice cream in or a small couple of chairs inside. Definitely try them if you're in the area and want some great ice cream!“

“If you like soft, chewy cookies, you really should try Crumbl! Some call them underbaked but IMO, they're usually perfect. Each week they have a new lineup to try and some are simple while others are a bit more unique. Located by Binny's on the corner of Lake Cook rd & Weiland, they're open every day but Sunday. On Sunday night, the next week's cookie selection is posted on TikTok, YouTube, & instagram. Milk chocolate chip & semi sweet chocolate chip are rotated every other week. Check 'em out!“

“I've never been to a Culver's in spite of living near one in a few states. The burgers put me in the mind of a smash burger I've had somewhere else. Good but not the best when I think of a great beef burger. My preference is one from Longhorn or Burgerhaus.“

“They have the best ice cream! So good I normally only eat 1 scoop but when I go here I get 2 or 3 because they're so good. The employees are so nice, especially the teenage girls. The girl with blond highlights and the girl with dark hair are so sweet! On vacation I went to a gelato place, thier gelato was FULL OF SUGAR all I tasted was sugar but here I actually taste the flavor. The flavors are so good. I 100% recommend the banana and strawberry .I would have given this place six stars but it only goes up to 5.“

“The ice cream is fantastic, the only downside is the service is kind of mid. They sometimes take forever because they’re always understaffed but the food does not disappoint! They always are asking to tip on their computer though which is super annoying considering they just stare you down while you are on the machine. All the menu items are diverse and I prefer the marshmallow, strawberry banana, and strawberry chocolate ice cream!! Also all their teamonades are super good!!! I prefer raspberry, peach, and lychee. They also sometimes add the actual fruit and a lemon piece into the drinks. The ambiance is kind of meh, it’s a very bright atmosphere but with empty and big spacing around the seats. Sometimes when it’s busy there’s not enough space to even enjoy your treat, but I love the ice cream and drinks! “

“I've been trying to look a good matcha ice cream place in Chicago for the longest time and I FOUND IT! Releaf is located in the cutest Japanese marketplace, tucked away in the corner amid other restaurants. I got their Black Sesame and Matcha mixed soft serve on a cone. Honestly, there isn't much to say except that it was delicious. The quantity is really great, swirl was aesthetically pleasing to look at, and you can taste both the matcha and black sesame. The staff said that the soft serve is definitely stronger compared to the ice cream scoop. They do serve drinks during their normal operating hour, but after like 6/7pm, they only sell soft serve and ice cream after those times.“

“Nice to see the pizza assembled right in front of you! Good selection and you can pick your own topping combo. They skimp on the fresh basil leaves, but I usually tell them to double it!! “I've ordered online from this location about 10 times in the last year and they get it right every time no issues whatsoever. Even during busy lunch hours when they had a packed drive thru they always get my online orders perfect when placed through their website. This location of Culver's is a perfect example of what they all should be like.“

“Highly recommended! Fantastic quality and taste along with prompt courteous, friendly service. NOW, this is an outstanding milkshake shown in the picture purchased from Oberweis dairy and ice cream in Rolling Meadows on Algonquin Road. The spoon that came with it stood up straight without any support from the glass sides, indicating a nice thick creamy milkshake. It was delicious costing me the same price as Baskin-Robbins but far superior quality than what I received at Baskin-Robbins/Dunkin’ Donuts. Ten Stars for Oberweis. The Rolling Meadows location also has a very nice outdoor seating area as well as indoor seating. We get Oberweis milk delivered to our house. We love the milk too and many other products they offer.“

“I have now visited this place a few times. I was here when they first opened and they needed to work out the kinks. I visited again when their pastries seemed to only come out of the refrigerated shelves and now they have a case with pastries. The two women working were nice when I arrived both greeting me separately when I walked in. One worked solely on drive thru orders and didn't help out the main counter if there was no one in the drive thru. The other working the main counter took her time making my drink of choice: hot mocha with oatmilk and an extra pump of chocolate (not a coffee drinker here). She filled my mug to the brim with artistic yumminess. It's a fairly open concept inside with two Jeni's ice cream coolers along one wall and a refrigerated cooler with juice cold brew canned coffees, bagels, fruit and other items. There's plenty of seating and plenty of space so you aren't on top of others. They have bistro tables, high chairs with a counter along two windows, low tables for 2/4/6 people for privacy to collaboration, and they have comfortable chairs and couches with coffee tables. It's a great place to start your day, conduct business, meet up with family and friends or to just kick back with a nice cup of Joe and a decent nosh.“
