“I was recommended this place by my coworkers and this is honestly the best chicken I’ve ever had at a restaurant in many many many years. Food is cheap, atmosphere is friendly, owner is super nice, they even have a selection of mild to spicy sauces that’s huge and some of them they even made themselves. That Yummi sauce sure is Yummy. Give this place a shot you won’t be disappointed.“
“I am from out of town and thought I would stop in for lunch. Honestly I have to say the Korean short ribs were the best that I have ever had. I’ve had them many many places in different states and by far theirs is the best. Very nice very friendly and I will be back a few times before I head back to Ohio. I wish I could take them with me.“

“This was me and my husband first visit this evening. After driving over 45 minutes, we learn.They had ran out of barbecue ribs That was my main reason because I searched over the website trying to find the best ribs But after looking over the menu I decided to just grab a pool pork sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese. My husband decided to do the chicken sandwich. O, m, g, we were not disappointed even though. Management, Mr. Adam saw the frustration on my face, to my surprise. He came over to the table because he found a 1/2 slab of ribs. Oh my God, they were so delicious. Let's not forget before that. He came over with some delicious sweet potato pie. Oh my God, that was really delicious. I am not kidding you. I was not only surprised to learn that they honor all soldiers on the wall. So he was very honored to ask me to bring a photo of my son because I am a God Star mom. I definitely will be back me and my husband and I will actually share the restaurant with my family and closest friends.“

“Real authentic Texas style bbq in IL? Who would of thought! Brisket was tender and flavorful, pork belly aka meat candy was so good! Finally a place who actually makes it and does it right. Tried the other bbq places around the Chicago area and while they are good; Matt’s Barbecue does it the true texas style way. Did I mention they have Texas Twinkies? It exceeded my expectations so much that I came back after tuning those pianos which was 4.5 hours later and the cashier even recognized me which was a nice surprise. Customer service was great and the food was even better. I love that they have a few different sauces to experiment with the tasty food. The sassy, shark sauce and shark white and can’t forget there version of the Carolina sauce. All of it was on point. I had the half chicken and a sausage link with a side of green beans, mashed potatoes and sweet mashed later on with the corn muffin. Everything was kosher and definitely will be back next week as there are more pianos to be tuned at different schools. Highly recommend this place!“

“The teenager male with the glasses recommended the gyro pork kebab dinner we got that with rice and Greek salad he also recommended us a side of spicy feta. I didn’t catch his name but he was very patient and answered me and my husbands questions. Then decided on our appetizer.First, we ordered some jalapeno cornbread for appetizer.Then for our main course garlic mashed potatoes with sage gravy, barbecued ribs, beef brisket and pulled pork! “I usually do my own BBQ but felt lazy today so we ordered some BBQ from @gematosbbq in Naperville and it is delicious. Highly recommend the ribs, rib tips and the BBQ chicken. The sides were delicious especially the Grecian potatoes. Will definitely order from here again.“

“First time there today and I must say they are delicious. I love the fact we ask for a sample of the sauce the guy up front said no problem went and washed his hands before touching the food. Older guy was washing down the grill I’m impressed cause I’ve seen people collect money then prepare food but I make them was their hands. I will be back only thing is tips are cut too big but next time I will ask for small cut.“
“I thought I had ribs before… I was confident that I have eaten ribs. Everything I’ve ever known about ribs was a lie. I just had a spiritual experience inside of an unsuspecting restaurant. I saw someone else say that these ribs were the best ribs they ever had in their life and I was like “yeah, ok, loser. You probably haven’t been to Texas blah blah blah. There’s no way that the best ribs in his life came from a restaurant in a strip mall in shorewood. How wrong I was… you know that one part of the rib that is kind of tough? The stringy portion at the top which is usually overdone and nothing special? It doesn’t exist in these ribs. The entire this was seasoned to perfection. The only thing that made this experience even better as the service from the young lady in front and the owner Tony. As a chef of 13 years, I can confidently say that I have not had food that tasted like the person poured their heart and soul into every dish. Made with love is over used but in this case it is not. He is a Marine vet pumping out some of the best ribs, brisket, chicken and even BURGERS you will ever have the pleasure of coming across. Tony will let you sample whatever your heart desires and if you’re not walking out with a plate afterwards you must be broke. Tony even ended our meal letting us sample his cheesecake which was also just phenomenal. Tony your work is appreciated and you are exactly where you are supposed to be.“

Hard to read at highway speed.Ordered the 3 meat plate with ribs, brisket & ribs with mac 'n cheese & cole slaw.Meats were spicy with the rubs they use. Sauces on the table were sweet and spicy. The meal is served with pickled red onions YUM! and sweet & spicy pickle slices, also YUM!The brisket was perfect in flavor & texture. The wings were HUGE and perfectly prepared. The ribs were good but Ive had better. A little dry, but tasty. The portion filled both of us. Ixd go back.“
