“This was my father’s favorite place before he pasted away. My wife and I decided to make the trip from Plainfield when our daughters were home from college. The food was awesome. Egg rolls are huge. It might have a slightly different taste of spices that that you would expect on some dishes, but it adds to the dish. The prices are very reasonable. Four of us ate dinner for $53. This included; large sweet and sour chicken, small sesame chicken, Small Mongolian beef, Two orders of eggrolls, large, veggie fried rice, and they added crab Rangoon Because the order was over $40 I think. We would normally spend over $70 from our local places. I actually called and complemented them on how we enjoyed it and the lady answered the phone said if anything is ever wrong just go ahead and call and they will replace it. Just let them know. She was very happy we enjoyed it. The establishment is carry out only“
“Today I ordered the black Angus peppered steak for the first time and I must say it was amazing! Everything about this bowl was delicious! The rice was cooked perfect and super flavorful. The steak was good a bit tuff but still very good. As for the mushrooms, broccoli, and carrots all cooked and seasoned to perfection. No complaint as everything was above my expectations! Thank you.“
“This is an absolute must ! The Chicken Tiki masala was all the right kinds of flavorful. The naan was incredible. Our server Jess was very kind and attentive. We will be back for the buffet. Food even lives up the next day from the to go box. Servings are hearty.“
“Have ordered take out 3 times now and each time has been great. The fried rice is incredible. Have also had crab rangoon, egg rolls, mongolian beef and orange chicken. All have been incredibly delicious. I look forward to ordering from S.Y Chef again. Staff is also very friendly when picking up.“
“Visiting J’s was a delightful experience ! The food was bursting with flavor and made with care. They owners are not Muslim but everything they serve is completely Halal, it's wonderful to support such a welcoming and inclusive place. The staff were friendly, and the ambiance was inviting. Don't miss out on trying their Sichuan Wontons in spicy broth… it was so good that we even took two orders to go with us“
“Alright, so I've gotta spread the word about Xi'an Cuisine. I've been grabbing takeout from here several times and, let me tell you, it's consistently awesome every single time. There's something about opening that takeout box and getting hit with the smell of hot, fresh food that just makes my day.The flavors here? Absolutely amazing. It's like each dish has its own little flavor party going on, and trust me, your taste buds are definitely invited. Whether it's a spicy kick or a subtle, savory blend, these guys know what they're doing. It's the kind of food that makes you pause mid-bite and go, 'Wow, that's good.'And the best part? It's just down the road. I mean, sure, I could try other places, but why mess with perfection? It's gotten to the point where I'm like, 'Why would I go anywhere else when I've got this gem right here?'If you're in the area and haven't tried Xi'an Cuisine yet, do yourself a favor and give it a go. Whether you're a regular takeout connoisseur or just looking for a new spot to try, this place won't disappoint. Trust me, your future self will thank you.“
“I love the service and the atmosphere, it’s so peaceful and the service is so attentive and kind. We came in with our kids and the spilled water all over the table, we felt so bad the server just came right away saying don’t worry I’ll get. She was was kind. We ordered sushi and chickenramen. The kids loved the noodles and and my husband and I loved the sushi! Great placeKid-friendliness: Great place for kids to experience the food and decor.“
“First time here. Pictures looked really good online. You absolutely have to come try out the food here. I got the lemongrass beef! Great portion size, but the taste is sooooooo good! The beef was tender and juicy. I almost forgot my manners is tasted so good! My new favorite spot!!!“
“Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“
“When I used to live in the North burbs (Deerfield / Highland Park), there were these pick-up & go “americanized” chinese restaurants that had very good food, excellent quality, inexpensive yet the portions were exceptional. This place is very similar. There is no in-dining seating at most of these sites (a few exceptions), but this no-frills approach keeps the prices relatively low compared to dine-in eqivalents. However, there is no dim-sum, assorted dumplings nor any specials that are “extravagent” such as crispy Peking duck mu-shu style. But for what was ordered and the price point, its worth a visit.Ordered combo appetizer which came with a pork eggroll, 2 crab rangoon and 2 fried shrimp rings. Served hot and crispy, this was what was to be expected, and nice serving size. The chefs special pan fried noodles with combo chicken, beef, shrimp and vegetables was on-point. Again the pint serving, imo, is worth 4 meals (~4oz each). I have had many pan fried noodles over the decades and this was a very good version. The owners are friendly and deliver the food on-time. I was there 10 minutes prior to the promised time, which was delivered at exactly 10 minutes as I waited (I didnt mind the wait). It paid off as the food was still piping hot when I got it home.“
“One of my favorite resturants ever! Amazing staff that always make me laugh and smile. I recently had wonderful suprise party there with my family. Highly recommend the Bun Bo Hue and the Three Chili Chicken for my spice lovers! Always a great place that feels like home.“
“I have tried all the Chinese food within a 20 mile radius after my old Chinese restaurant closed after the owners retired after 18 years. Oriental Taste is the best Chinese food I've ever had! I've eaten Chi-Tung in Evergreen Park and this place blows everyone away! A+++“
“The environment is so peaceful, extremely clean, staff is pleasant. The rooms are large with plenty of seating for party of ten, love the YouTube unlimited access, sound system was flawless. The food was fresh & delicious and those who had drinks truly enjoyed them☺️. Hourly increments was just right Looking forward to returning soon“
“Every time my friend says lets order Chinese I cringe. I will order something that sounds good and end up throwing it away. I was blown away at how good the food was here, my friend got beef with tomatoes and green pepper and I got barbecue pork with mixed vegetables. So good the sauce was very good and his beef melted in your mouth. I will only order from China Cook from now on. It was even better the next day for lunch.“
“I am honestly so confused by this place. We visit family in the area about once a year and I always look forward to the Pad See Ew here, they get the noodles so wonderfully crunchy, they are the best noodles I've ever had. The Pad Thai on the other hand is pretty disgusting... overcooked, mushy noodles, generic, bottled sauce, and hardly any veggies at all. I know that the owners are not Thai but how can they do one noodle dish so well and fail so hard at another??? Egg rolls are good.“
“We buy crispy smelt to go here and those are the best! So cruspy even the nect day. Second time we dined in last night. All the food we ordered are authentic chinese and so delicious. We ordered hongkong steak, kung pao chicken- perfectly cooked and the sauce and spiciness is not overpowering.; yeong chow fried rice is yummy too, salt and pepper chicken is not what we expected. We were expecting a chicken but this is chicken strips covered in batter but it turned out really good too. Service is fast and tge owner is akways nice. The place is a typical chinese restaurant with round rables and booth. They just need to remove the table where they put the bakery products, it's just in the way when you walk to the tables.“
“I go here at least twice a week! The food is so good and they are CONSISTENT! There are a few Chinese food spots in the area but I will never stray. I’m from Chicago and our Chinese food is top tier so I was afraid I wouldn’t find anything comparable. I was wrong!“
“Good! If you haven't tried it give it a try. My favorite is the deep fried tofu with chilis, and their vegetable dishes are good too (I have had the string beans, as well as the eggplant several times. It focuses on take-out, but you can eat in the food court area.“
“My wife and I went here for the first time today. The service was great and the place was very clean. But the food was so amazing. The beef broth in Pho was so good that you could drink it alone. Everything was so fresh. One thing I would say is just offer everyone chopsticks.“
“I'd absolutely love to give 5☆ but the servers here are so so sad. They act like they're in chains forced to work there. The food is so good but I literally get uncomfortable eating there. They make you want to take it home to eat but we live too far away. They serve you water in tiny plastic cups with dishwasher rings two cubs of ice and get frustrated if you ask for more ice or water. This guy today literally just rolled his eyes at me for asking for a cup of ice because me and my kids combined had 6 cubes. Not just this server both the guys we get here act the same way. They show zero emotion and do not speak out side of what do you need. It's very strange. I hope one day this changes more family friendly.“
“Great authentic Cantonese food without having to to go to Chinatown! Everything we had was excellent and a good portion size. The place is small so be prepared to wait for a table or come when it's off peak. Popular dishes are the salt and pepper smelt and the tofu. You can't go wrong with the salt and pepper shrimp. Everything was seasoned perfectly.“
“I eat a lot of Chinese food and im familiar with most restaurants in surrounding areas. East China Inn in Aurora is by far the best. Food is excellent. Restaurant is always very clean and welcoming. Joe and Yonni and the rest of the staff are just great. I use to have 5 different Chinese restaurants I visited regularly. Now I find myself at East China every chance I get.“
“This eatery is a culinary gem that whispers the secrets of Taiwan through its dishes. The mastermind behind this authentic Taiwanese kitchen? A chef who once commanded the kitchen of a high-end establishment, now pouring her expertise into a space that humbly masquerades as a food court. Yet, the simplicity of the setting belies the extraordinary flavors that await. Among the myriad of dishes, the Taiwanese Pork Chop Bento stands as my personal favorite. Accompanied by an ensemble of side dishes and rice, the pork chop is marinated to perfection, it’s juicy, bursting with flavors that are both bold and comforting. Here, the pork chop transcends its humble origins, rivaling, if not surpassing, its counterparts back in Taiwan. Why, you ask? The sheer generosity of the portion amplifies the experience, each bite more satisfying than the last. Sometimes, more is indeed more. For those in pursuit of the quintessence of Taiwanese cuisine, look no further. This unassuming spot in Naperville, devoid of any pretense of ambiance, is where your quest concludes. This is a culinary narrative, rich and unfiltered. In the pages of this food court’s menu, you’ll find authenticity that’s rare, flavors that speak of the distant island of Taiwan, and a reminder that the essence of a place can often be found in the most unexpected locations.“
“Since New Wok hasn't reopened and prices at House of Emperor have slowly been raised thru the roof, we tried here and got 4 dishes we have ordered at many Chinese take out places or even in Chinatown. Here we go: Chicken Chop Suey-excellent! Sauce is tasty, plenty of bean sprouts and pea pods, good amount of tender chicken, trimmed nicely of any fat. Beef Fried Rice-very good. Although it had yellow onion instead of the more normal green onion, and scrambled egg was kinda sparse. Still very good. Beef With Broccoli-would have also been excellent except it had sweetness, I have always hated sugar added to my Americanized Chinese food. BBQ Pork Egg Foo Yung-same comment as the beef with broccoli. The gravy for the egg foo was VERY sweet. Too sweet for me! The only option is large which is 3 paddys not the usual 4. I think without the sugar it would have been very good. Purely take out here, it was obvious they used to have a sit down business at some point but not now. Extensive menu, see their website and either phone order or online order.“
“Food was amazing! It was so good I came back for second round. The people helping you are very nice too. Their portion sizes are very fair. Their prices for food aren’t bad. This is my favorite restaurant. Definitely recommended for people who really enjoys food and smoothies. Definitely coming here much more “
“I can never say enough about Chinese Kitchen in Naperville. I’ve been enjoying their food and service for so many years. They’re consistently great food and genuinely helpful/kind/thoughtful/friendly….staff are excellent!!! Thank you, thank you & thank you. I LOVE Chinese Kitchen “
“This has been favorite family place to go since the 1970s. Always enjoy their food. Have not been on the inside of the restaurant for a while and was disappointed that one can no longer order a complete meal that everything has to be ordered separate. It used to be nice to order a complete meal which would have included a soup and an egg roll. I've never had anything bad here that I can complain about. Always enjoy their food.“
“Best Wonton Soup! I was cold from the inside out all day, and this soup warmed me up. So tasty and delicious! Haven’t had anything from here that I didn’t crave weeks later! Spring Rolls … crunchy and delish! YummmmBusiness owners are friendly and very helpful always! The Best in town!“
“We love Malahini Terrace! It is our favorite place. My spouse and I usually eat in under the cute thatch huts and twinkle lights. We get the meal for 2, which includes soup (hot & sour, egg drop) egg rolls & crab rangoon, and choice of two entries. Our picks are the Oriental Plate (pork fried rice, BBQ pork & BBQ ribs) and the Malahini Beef (tender straps of beef and veggies). This last time, we ordered out to feed our family of eight. Plenty of food, with leftovers for another day! Don't forget the fortune cookies and the silly way to read them. Wink wink.Always delicious! Yum!“
“For the same price as its competitors in the area you get a better menu, better utensils, and a rolling cart to store meat and used plates. Great service great food, shoutouts to Quinton the GOAT he said my hair was nice and offered amazing service across the board “
“Always great service and food. My wife never had their sushi and she loved it. Parents loved the egg foo yung and sushi as well. They have the best shrimp fried rice. Our waitress/owner helped wit my dad who has a walker by guiding him to the door, helping him with his walker, and opening the door. That alone made our day and stands out as a place we will always come back to and recommend to friends and family.“
“I have been looking for an Asian restaurant that was decent since I moved to Matteson. My family was disappointed each time with one dish or another ... but tonight Dragon Palace outdid themselves and we definitely found a new go to spot !!! Kudos to you guys ... Tonight's dishes / 1. Chili chicken 2. Chicken lo mein 3. Thai basil fried rice 4. Spicy chicken and shrimp fried rice 5.Schezwuan chicken I can't wait to try the rest of the menu“
“This is an excellent restaurant! I mostly make smaller orders, but have used this place for catering as well. I have been impressed every time. The staff is very kind and generous. They go out of their way for you. The food is excellent. I have never been disappointed in a dish from this restaurant. It always arrives steaming hot and really quickly and to me that's worth a little extra for delivery. I highly recommend this place.“
“Been going to this place for the past 10 years and they never disappoint. Inside is very clean and welcoming, it has a big seated area if you want to dine in. Service is always on point and the NEW boba drinks are delicious! It's great to have more affordable boba options in town.“
“Zen House does mostly carryout but you could dine in if you wanted to. Their food is flavored well and all the different dishes I've tried have always been great. The people at the counter taking your order are very kind and respectful.“
“Ideal location for take out (delivery if within range). The service was excellent. Food was delicious for someone who is particularly picky with Fried Rice, the combination rice was exactly what I hoped for. The eggrolls are tasty. I'm visiting from out of town, but found a location I can look forward to. My father, who's a local was impressed, and says he is changing to this location as his go-to for Chinese food“
“Super good food! Only place I order Chinese food from. Super friendly staff, and they strive for customer satisfaction! You can make any adjustments to your order and they will accommodate. Food is always really good, and they keep pick up orders warmed in a thermal pouch until you arrive for pick up. The prices are pretty affordable as well! If you are looking for good and affordable Chinese food, this is the place to go to!“
“After Golden Chopsticks closed down, I found this place and it is honestly just as good, if not better, than Golden Chopsticks!Parking: Parking can be an issue depending on time of day. Parking spots are always available, but sometimes you need to park in front of a store a few doors down.“
“Ordered for pick up here and the food was good, not the best but it was good, the lady who answered the phone had good service, I got to give them props tho because the food portions are definitely worth it for the price, you get a good amount of food for ur dollar, overall a good spot will be back“
“I live nowhere near here, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of the food for the price when I randomly decided to stop here before heading home. Their largest fried rice is MASSIVE, and a great price. I’d go here again if I was in the area.“
“There's always a long line here, and when you see a long queue at a chinese place, you know it's legit. I always come here to buy the BBQ pork or roast duck. Quick delicious dinner dish! For Chinese New Year, they sell a special dish called Poon Choi, which a combination seafood pot with the finest ingredients. Didn't order one but it looks so good!“
“You guys!I had veryyyyy low expectations.. I’ve been so disappointed in Chinese in the area. We got takeout through Grubhub- the food was hot and delicious. Their pork fried rice is the best I’ve had in yearssss! The flavor was outstanding- the green onion was a lovely touch. The egg rolls weren’t greasy-and the pot stickers were not the best I’ve had (these are a little more plain). I look forward to trying the food again and really hope that the pork fried rice continues to impress- it was so good!“
“I've been going to Gong Ho ever since I was a kid and it has never disappointed me! Walking in, it is newly renovated and much more modern but still having a warm welcoming feel. Gong Ho is famous in my family for its quick and delicious food for an affordable price. I get the same thing every time I go: lunch special number 5 (sweet and sour chicken with barbecue strips) with egg drop soup. Food is served very fast and the quality has never gone down. My parents love to get their fish filet with vegetables and the shrimp egg foo yung. We will continue to be regular customers of Gong Ho. It is a family business and you'll often see the families' kids helping out- so you already know that the food is bussin'. Pricewise, it is completely affordable and more than fair. I appreciate that portions have not changed throughout the years. The restaurant is great for big groups as well. As always, I always encourage everyone to support their local businesses! Gong Ho has been a favorite of ours ever since I was a kid and that won't change!“
“This place is a 5 all day I've been going there for quite a while now for the lunch specials you could get for 8 or 9 dollars my recent visit got there was seated got our drinks quickly the waitress was very nice and professional I ordered the mushroom and pepper steak it was magical when the dish came to my table the mushrooms are huge and plenty of them they were delicious the meat was cooked to perfection the launch cost just over $8 my wife ordered a sweet and sour shrimp ? it was delicious the total bill with drinks was $22 for two people I would highly recommend this place and I want to say during covid they were very professional about the way they did things the inside was closed but you could order on the phone and they had a table outside where you pick your package up totally contactless I would recommend this place for a decent meal we go at lunch time because we're retired like I said you could get a nice meal for $8“
