“We went during a weekend dinner and were the only dine-in customers. There was a bit of a wait still. Ban chan didn't arrive until the main entrees had come out. I liked the salt and pepper at the table so diners can season according to their preferences.Korean-style steamed eggs was served pipping hot. It was such a a treat on a chilly day: fluffy, soft, light as air, and packed with umami flavors from the broth. Samgye tang featured a rich and milky soup with fall-off-the-bone tender chicken stuffed with glutinous rice. Ban chan was nothing impressive and didn't have a good variety. We only had kimchi, cucumber, potatoes, and macaroni salad. I thought the kimchi was specifically bad due to a chemically taste.“
“Absolutely delicious, high-quality, fresh, and marinated meats!!! The side dishes are plentiful, fresh, and flavorful. The pork belly and galbi beef were tender, juicy, and melt in your mouth delicious. I can't find the words to express how delicious the pork dishes were. The service was fast, friendly, and personable. The restaurant was clean orderly, and my group left happy, full, and satisfied. If you are looking for a KBBQ restaurant to try, pick 336 each and every time.“
“Best experience with food, service, and catching up with your loved ones (friends/family) and wasn't rushed to be kicked out. I think theres a timer, but like I said, they let us enjoy our atmosphere and keep bringing the food without us saying. Great service team, they were all on it as if they were our older relative who we hadn't seen in years and kept us happy by bringing dish after dish. I'm definitely coming back more often now that I discovered this spot. I wish I had known this place.“
“So this place is an amazing "Pocha" experience! Great social drinking vibe with amazing food. Note that the wait can be 40mins+ and it can get very packed. Now although you might wait a bit, which should give you enough time to have an order in mine, the food comes out super fast once placed. Probably took only 10mins for the food to start coming out.Highly highly recommend the Tofu Kimchi (which comes with pork belly), Spicy BBQ pork belly w/mozzarella, and the Rose Tteok bok ki.Definitely what we were looking for and they also have karaoke which we might come back to try.“
“I absolutely love this place! I can be here 2 times a week. The staff is amazing, and super friendly! They make their food with LOVE. Everything is so fresh and taste amazing. And the fruit teas are such a thirst quencher!! Recommended to everyone if they love good “
“The best Korean spot in the area! (And I’ve been to all of them). The service was so hospitable and amazing. The food was great, so much more I wanna try next time. Already planning my next meal there! Highly recommend this place, my husband and I left happy and satisfied as can be. The owner lady was so accommodating to my husband, who has a very weak spice tolerance, and ended up bringing him some original chicken completely complimentary just to be nice!“
“Always a good time when I come here. This time I came for a double date with my family and my bf (cute, I know!) for Valentine's Day. This is my third time coming here with my bf so we were accustomed to calling in our reservation which we made a couple of weeks in advance. As soon as we came in, you are instantaneously hit with the yummy aroma of cooked meats and veggies. It's honest to God, a scent that is drool worthy. We ordered up the Chungkiwa special which is a lovely mixture of meats and seafoods. We got our ban chan and our kimchi fried rice. As usual, the customer service was prime as the sweet, young lady was our sever. She was so quick, attentive and kind. We never felt like we were a burden to her as this restaurant was pretty busy tonight. All in all, this place is amazing. The main reason my bf and I treated my family here was for them to get a slice of Korean bbq heaven and what better time then for Valentine's Day?!? They thoroughly enjoyed the food and the customer service. The food was plentiful and tasty. You can tell that the quality of meat is good and not only that, we absolutely love the cast iron grill everything is cooked on. It helps to ensure that everything is cool evenly and it cooks the meat fast which is much appreciated. This place has an old school charm to it which I really enjoy. The meal ended with a Haagen Dazs bar which was super yummy! Overall, I've said it before and I'll say it again; this place is awesome! When in doubt, try this place out and I can promise you won't regret it“
“After moving away from Chicago, this is the restaurant I miss the most. I used to go here a lot when I lived in the city! Chef Bill is so friendly and kind, and the food and atmosphere are amazing. The kimchi pancakes, the Dr. K’s soup, and the bibimbap are just a few of my favorites! I can’t wait to go back next time I visit!!“
“I wish I knew about this place sooner! These are some of the best wings I ever had. Wingstop can forget about it. This will be my go to place for now on to get wings. Two thumbs up for sure. The cashier is very friendly. Very clean and open . Great job guys!“
“First timer here and I will be back. Great service— perhaps due to time of day and it not being busy— but the servers were constantly asking/making sure I had enough side dishes and/or if I needed anything else.My meal came with refillable tea which was very nice. I got the bulgogi bento box and it was really delicious and worth the money for everything I got on my plate. I would love to try some of their other staple dishes as well. The vibe of the place was nice; they had k-pop music playing and a very clean aesthetic. I’ll def add this restaurant to my rotating list of staple places to eat at.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at one of the city’s hidden gems – Tang Korean. This establishment offers a unique blend of authentic Korean flavors, warm hospitality, and an ambiance that transports you straight to the streets of Seoul.Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by a staff that exudes friendliness and professionalism. The server, with a genuine smile, guided us through the menu, offering recommendations tailored to our tastes and dietary preferences. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the food. From the perfectly seasoned bulgogi to the flavorful and crispy kimchi pancake, each dish was a testament to the chef’s mastery of traditional Korean cooking. In a city brimming with Korean options, this Korean restaurant stands out not just for its authentic and delicious food but for its commitment to creating an unforgettable dining experience through outstanding service. Whether you’re a connoisseur of Korean cuisine or eager to explore new flavors, this restaurant promises a meal that will delight your taste buds and leave you eagerly planning your next visit.“
“Kong Dog is a unique take on a hot dog and very creative. We had the Cheetos and Potatoes half and half dog. Both were fresh, tasted good and had incredible cheese pull from the cheese portion. It is certainly a speciality kind of a place rather than a quick stop in for a "regular" meal however.“
“When I come to Glenview, I think of soft tofu, a food I keep reaching for, so I ate too much today again. The food is delicious, but the kindness and service of the staff makes me feel good. The first restaurant I wanted to go to was Sogongdong Soft Tofu.“
“Really delicious food, and plenty of it! I ordered the goat soup, which is a big bowl of soup to begin with, and it came with rice, kimchi, and a turnip(?). I was not a fan of the turnip, but the kimchi was delicious, and I really liked the rice and soup together. The vibe here is very much that of a food court inside a mall, because that's what it is. There are mall noises, at least two different kinds of music playing from different directions, shoppers walking by. You order, get your food at counter, and bring your tray back to the same counter when you're finished. The cashier at the counter is friendly and polite. Get the goat soup! You'll be glad you did!“
“The chicken is always clean (none of that dark spots and veins) and it’s actually CRISPY. my favorite is the cheese ball appetizer. Don’t be afraid to try something new!I tried the beef bulgogi taco and it was surprisingly delicious! The spicy sauce, the sweet bulgogi, and the slaw which gave it a fresh taste and a crunch. Though I think I would like the tortilla a bit crispy too.I also tried the slaw chicken sandwich, it was very good, hot and crispy. The atmosphere is nice, kpop fans world love it too. they play kpop on the radio and on the screens. The people there are friendly. I feel like I’m transported to Korea. I ate so fast I forgot to take a picture!“
“So happy finding this place. We had the kimchi sujebi and seolleongtang this visit. Both were very well prepared and hit the spot. The restaurant was busy when we visited and the service was great. Small but homey. We live in the city but will make the trip back soon.“
“the owner jun is so nice, helpful, and funny! it's a great bar to socialize as well as eat and drink. i would come here every day if i could!i got the bulgogi burger and it was delicious- just a heads up if you do get it, it's not a typical 'burger' patty, it's literally bulgogi- but it's so flavorful and unique it's such a good item to try! the fried egg was so good on it...another good item is the bulgogi tacos they come with kimchi on them (so good)also the drinks are strong! i suggest getting the green apple soju (yum)TLDR; come to BDG, not just to drink and socialize, but also to try the delicious food!Vegetarian options: burger made with portabello mushrooms, veggie soup, etc“
“Have been coming here for years and have had nothing but an incredible experience every single time without fail. Our server is always attentive and kind no matter when we've come in. We had John as a server this evening and he was phenomenal!“
“It's the most delicious food I've had on a business trip to the US. The galbitang is more delicious than any galbitang restaurant in Korea. These days, there are no such large and delicious king dumplings even in Korea. I travel to many cities in the U.S. on business trips, but I always worry about food when I come to Chicago, and now I've finally found a good restaurant.“
“Ordered in for lunch! The first time, I had a Bibimbap bowl, and it was delicious! The second time, we ordered two ramen bowls. I would say when it comes to ramen, stick with downtown Chicago. The egg was not marinated, just a cooked egg, not a variety of veggies, and the noodles are generic store noodles. For the pork belly you receive about 4, 1 inch pieces of grey meat. No char, crunch, or savory meat.“
“Do yourself a favor and grab some friends for karaoke and Korean food at AGIT. A group of us went on a Saturday night and we had a karaoke room for 2hrs. Depending on the size of your group they may add a few chairs in so everyone can fit. Once you're in your room you can start with the karaoke session and in the corner of the TV tells you how much time you have left of your session. They also have instructions on the wall for how to use the remote to choose songs and how to use the control. You can press a button and a staff member will come and wait on you. We ordered a handful of stuff to share family style. We had the bulgogi, fried chicken, seafood pancake, tteokbokk. There was plenty of food to go around and everything I ate was enjoyable. It was so much fun being in a private room and eating delicious food. I wish they would have had plates instead of the paper boats because you can't fit much in the boat and maybe some serving untensils for the dishes. But minor things I could look past. They are located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking avaliable.“
“Long overdue review of THE best korean bbq in all of Chicago. Pretty much everything is good but the galbi and spicy pork are the best of the bunch. I make a trip down from the city at least once every two weeks for the food here. Aside from the food, the service is also great, with everyone very welcoming whenever we go. Went again today. Will probably go again next week.“
“We ordered chicken noodle soup, letting the waiter know that we were going to share. They thoughtfully split our order into two bowls and even gave us a little extra. The chicken noodle soup was delicious! The noodles were cooked perfectly, not too hard and not too soft. The broth was comforting, and the chicken and ingredients tasted fresh. It really was the best chicken noodle soup I've ever tried. The service was great too. We'll definitely be back again.“
“I had a great time at this CM Chicken location. The service was excellent and the food was really good. The fries were nice and crispy with a good amount of salt. The fried chicken was really good 10/10. The playlist in the background was really good too. It really brought me back to the mid 2000s. Above all I was very satisfied with the customer service. Very kind staff and accommodating.“
“This might be our go to now for seolluntang and galbitang! The flavors are light and you can season to taste with the salt on the table. The seolluntang was delightful, perfectly balanced and flavorful. It’s pretty big inside, at least much bigger than it looks on the outside. I would guess there are maybe 10 tables? We came around 11:10 and were the only people inside, but within 30 min the restaurant started to fill up! I can see parking getting tight though there’s parking around the back too where the laundromat is. If you ever get desperate, you can also park at the Hmart next door and walk over.Kid-friendliness: Open space insideWheelchair accessibility: The entire restaurant is flat and wheelchair can be pushed right to the table“
“During many of my reviews, I left my camera bag on the restaurant floor because I didn't want to disrupt their business by pulling up a chair for another table. However, the server here gave me an extra chair and took care of my camera bag. I've never experienced such hospitality in a restaurant before. And when I needed something, all I had to do was raise my hand, and the server would come over to me. -Seafood Jjampong Stew: It was really good. However, I wish they had more seafood. -Oden Soup: it was on the house. Even my daughter, a picky eater, said it was excellent. My personal opinion is that the service was top notch and the flavors were good enough to give this place a 5 star review. If you're a fan of Korean food, this is a must-visit on your next trip to Chicago.“
“I’m glad that they decided to extend their hours. They used to close before 5 pm and that was vexing. We came here for a late lunch. If you got a 30 min or hour lunch break, then this place is great for that. Service was fine. Food was good. We got a variety. Some of the ingredients are no longer on the current menu fyi. Prices are reasonable. There is parking but they share it with other places next door.-pork cutlet tong bop 5/5 - this one is my favorite. It’s like a burrito and that crunch was perfect.-bulgogi kimbop 5/5-fried chicken kbop 5/5“
“This is the best kbbq restaurant in Chicagomy experience was the bestThe side dishes are so deliciousRaw ribs and seasoned ribs are also very delicious. You will never regret itThe taste of ribs grilled with chamsut is the best.Highly recommended100 star“
“Searching for an authentic Mongolian restaurant in Illinois felt like uncovering a rare treasure, and we hit the jackpot with this place! The staff was incredibly friendly, creating a warm atmosphere, and the food was beyond delicious. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the bento box—a perfect blend of flavors. If you crave genuine Mongolian cuisine, this is the place to be! Highly recommend it for a delightful dining experience.“
“We came down from oklahoma city for my wife b/day and was craving wings but different, and we found this place, amazing wings, air fried not oil fry and full of flavor and crispy, the fresh hand cut fries are amazing, only wish there were more flavors to choose from, but none the less very satisfy, only regret was we found this place on our last day here and not sooner, the owner is very friendly, and easy to talk to“
“The snow-covered snow-white snow-white snowflakes, snow-white snow-white snowflakes 마을에 가야 했다. Thanks for watching!우리 서버는 Won과 Garon이었고 들은 절대적으로 최고였다. 이것은 엄마와 팝이 소유한 사업이며 들은 고객들이 식사 경험을 즐기고 싶어하 도록 하기 위해 매우 열심히 일한다.음식은 뜨겁고 신선하며 풍부했다! The snow-covered snow, the snow-white snow-white snow! The snow fell on the ground, the snow fell on the ground.I’ve been looking for a good Asian restaurant in the Niles area for a while, and I’ve had to go to another town to find one. I finally found a very good restaurant called Twin Dragon! Our servers were Won and Garon and they were absolutely the best. This is a Mom and Pop owned business and they work very hard to make their customers enjoy their dining experience and want to come back. The food was hot, fresh and plentiful! As you can see in the pictures, the portions were huge and we took food home!I highly suggest you give this restaurant a try, you will be pleasantly surprised. They have plenty of parking and three large party rooms of various sizes. Gaming is also available! If you have a snowflake and a snowflake, you can have a snowflake. Thank you for having a nice snack, very nice!If you have a snowflake in the woods of Won and Garon, your snowflakes are worth it顾客享受sugarcane snowflakes, snowflakes.Very nice place to stay!Awesome place to stay in the kitchen, lovely rooms, and a great place to stay!Thank you for your interest in the snowflakes, you have a snowstorm. One of the best dressing gowns in the world!“
“Manooben is a gem of a Japanese spot, with its cozy house-like ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. I indulged in their scrumptious udon, which was delightfully light and not too overpowering, along with their crispy tempura. The experience was made even better by the kind and attentive service from the lady who took care of me. Highly recommend this place for a solo dining experience that feels like home.“
“A pretty good place for Halal Korean. Food was delicious and service was prompt. We were visiting here for iftar and they gave us a couple dates to break out fast which was a nice thoughtful addition. The dishes were pretty generous but the sides of rice were waay too small. This place is also not a full service so having to get up and get your silverware and straw for your drink is not what I expected. Overall a great experience and would def check it out again in the future to try more items.“
“Had no idea this hidden gem was in the back of H Mart until I got done checking out! The egg, ham, and cheese toast was AMAZING! The egg was fluffy and creamy. Such a simple sandwich, but very well made. You only see these type of food on the street in S.Korea, glad someone brought the idea over. I can see this place being a big hit, a must try! Can't wait to try the rest of their menu.“
“This place has delicious food. The workers are all incredibly pleasant and make sure your experience is top tier. I've come here on multiple occasions with my friend and we both can agree the food and service have been amazing every single time.“
“Ordered off grub hub, I’ve always wanted to try Korean tofu stew but have been worried I couldn’t handle the spice, they let you pick the level and have a super mild offering so ordered it and wow!! This was amazing!! It was still rather spicy (I got the kimchi tofu option with pork) but was manageable for a wimp like me and so so so rich and flavorful. I kept eating it long after I was full because it was so good!!! Will be coming back absolutely (also the marinated cucumbers that came on the side were delightful)“
“This is a decent and authentic Korean restaurant in Katy. The food quality is fairly high. I tried stone pot spicy squid bibimbap and spicy pork soup for lunch. The former is superb and very delicious. The squid tastes fresh. Highly recommended. The second meal is less impressive. The pork is tough to chew and a bit tasteless. The soup also tastes too watery and lacks a rich flavour.Almost all customers are Koreans. Perhaps for this reason the waitress also assumes that I am a Korean. Funny that when she found out that I don’t speak Korean she immediately held back her smile. This does not seem like a great service.“
“I love this place so much. The lady who runs the place is super nice and prices are very reasonable. Compared to some of the other waits for restaurants at Mitsuwa Mama House is one of the quickest to get food from. There is almost always no line and you can get your food within 5 minutes. I normally get the Beef Bulgogi and it is always flavorful and a big portion. I definitely recommend if you are looking to come to Mitsuwa to grab a relatively cheap and quick bite.“
“I have tried a few things here but my go to is the Dolsot Bibimbap, always great and satisfying. The side dishes are always to my liking, they vary from visit to visit, and that is ok with me. Prices have come up but are reasonable. I am often the only or one of the few customers who does not speak Korean there. It is not a fancy restaurant so prepare your expectations for a more relaxed, casual, almost street food style, dining experience.“
“The food here is outstanding! The donkatsu and stir fry were completely delicious. I'm excited to try more dishes. The ingredients taste fresh with plenty of flavor. Everyone is friendly, and my server, Anna, was very hospitable. I will be back! ?“
“This place was so good! And the lady that helped us was SO sweet. Even though she didn’t speak a lot of English, she was still able to communicate easily to us. Skills! Not once did I see her stop working. If she’s not servicing clients, she’s cleaning. We got the Ox soup and fried fish. 10/10Very calm environment. The ceiling is cute.“
“Wow. This was my first time trying Korean food. I tried the pork kimchi and wow was it amazing. I have never tasted anything quite like it. I have a sensitive stomach and it never upset my stomach. The ingredients tasted so fresh and so good. I will be back to try more of the menu!“
“Honestly a lifesaver while I was traveling and trying to lose some weight for a competition. They have a variety of sushi and raw fish that I ate during the week to lose water weight. It was cheap and efficient and I took some to go to explore the waterfront and bike around. Thanks!“
“Came here for another corn dog. My wife and really Luke the original kong dog with half beef and half cheese, so we got 4 of them. The corn dogs are good, I just wished the stick wasn't so long. Every time you take your first bite, you will bite into the stick. Otherwise, everything is good here.“
“If you're feeling hungry after going to the spa and you're craving fried chicken, check this place out. It's located in H mart and the chicken is made as you order so it does take a while. We had to wait 20 min for our food. But the original chicken alone was very flavorful and juicy. The chicken was not burnt or bland. It was delicious and enough for three people at least. There are a few tables near this area if you want to dine in. Be careful because the chicken is hot.“
“We took out beef short rib and pork cutlet bento. The short rib was chewy and tender and the cultet was very crispy and juicy. Every dish came with bento was so good. Also, the owner was kind and friendly. We will definitely revisit next time!“
“Yeolmu Guksi is really delicious, pork cutlet, ugly tteokbokki (a lot of tempura), ramen, and gimbap are all delicious.Yeolmu Guksi/Kimchi noodles and pork cutlet are delicious. The best. You take pride in your radish kimchi, and you make all the side dishes yourself, so it's delicious❤️❤️“
“A nice hole in the wall Korean restaurant. It's surprisingly very spacious inside and very homey. It's close to my place but first time checking it out! I ordered the gamja tang which is a soup made made with pork back bone and vegetables. It was tasty. Lots of big chunks of meat. My dad ordered the kal gooksoo, noodle soup with clams and vegetables. My brother ordered the sul lung tang, beef bone broth with thin slice beef, noodles, and green onions. I got to try a bit of their orders and everything was tasty. The 6 side dishes they bring out are also tasty. We naturally spoke to the server in Korean. She was very attentive and sweet. Prices are reasonable. It's nothing mind blowing but a place I'd recommend if you want some simple yet solid Korean food.“
“Our new go-to for Korean. Yes, there will be a wait for seating or none available if you go too late and if you did not reserve ahead. Yes, the service won't be excellent because they get super busy and well, you just have to be patient. However, the food is FANTASTIC and a great selection in their menu. We absolutely love the garlic chicken gizzard (tough to find anywhere!) love love love the vibe, feel like you're in a restaurant in Korea. We can tell that most customers there are also Korean. So if the place is full of their own people, you know it's good! KPop on the TV and fun decor. We love this place!“
“I love when I get food that’s super Duper hot and I have to wait for it to pull off a little before I eat it. Everything tasted fresh considering it’s just a corndog. But very delicious toppings and the Kong fries were great. This is my favorite fast food.Parking: Clean ??Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a mall totally open. We parked in a handicap parking space right next to entrance ??“
