“It’s delicious. I’ve been here three times. Sometimes people come here when they don’t know what to eat. The environment is very good, and the quality of the dishes is also quite good. Personally, I feel that the order is Caofu-Jiuxiang-Shanghai cuisine (Kung Fu Lao Shen) (the boss lady of Shanghai cuisine is too annoying), but it feels like it! ! The portion of short crispy pork was too small. It was ridiculously small. I was dumbfounded when it was served that day. However, I highly recommend the kung fu fish fillet! !“
“I had an amazing dining experience at this Chinese grill fish restaurant. Their signature dish, the grilled fish, was an absolute delight. The perfect combination of traditional Chinese spices and seasonings made each bite a flavorful journey. The fish itself was tender and flaky, practically melting in my mouth. It's definitely a taste of home, and I highly recommend this spot for a comforting meal shared with loved ones or a solo indulgence in delicious Chinese cuisine.“
“A native of the Northeast made a sharp comment: His family photos are not so authentic. It's a bit like Beijingers cooking Northeast cuisine.Food deduction items: Some dishes have wrong ingredients and poor skills (for example, the meat is wrapped in a pot, the batter on the outside is not fried well, it is too soft, and the heat may not be enough when frying the sauce, and the heat is not good) and (Dala The skin is not right, I don’t know where the material is used to pull the skin)The environment is well received! : For Champagne, the environment of his house is quite good, and it looks cleaner and tidy than many other Chinese restaurants.Service praise: The waiters are well trained, have a good attitude, and add water frequently, praise.“
“I have been to this restaurant twice. First, I got the tomato egg dry noodle, which was very sweet but had a nice savory complement. The second time I went I had the spicy beef soup. It was so spicy I couldn't eat much of it, but I have low spice tolerance. I personally don't like their noodles, I think they're a little soggy and I prefer chewier noodles, but overall good restaurant and nice atmosphere for a quick meal with friends.“
“Authentic chinese food that’s on campus. I ordered the yangzhou fried rice which was delicious. It’s cheaper if you pay in cash (I paid like 9.5 ish cash) and they have free cold water and hot tea. It’s pretty spacious and overall a great placeAtmosphere wise, it’s definitely okay for a meal, but definitely not a place with good enough atmosphere to go on a date.Overall, really great place. I suggest coming here after a cbtf test (which is what I do)“
“IYKYK!!! Almost don’t want to rate because it’s that good and I don’t want this place to get popular!! Carry out hole in the wall, Chinese food restaurant with the absolute best service and Asian food in Champaign!! I have never had a bad order from here. Try the sesame beef. You’re welcome.“
“Lao Sze offers authentic Sczechuan dishes with absolutely awesome flavors and a wide array of menu choices. I had the shrimp with garlic sauce, which I would highly recommend. Can't wait to return to try other delicious selections from the menu which offers a variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The excellent food, along with a friendly welcome by the charming owner, makes Lao Sze a dining "must" in Champaign-Urbana.“
“After years of eyeing this place with interest as I drove past on the way to work, I had lunch here today. I ordered a red curry (chicken) and asked for "spicy". It was spicy enough to break a sweat and experience mild gustatory rhinitis. Thus, eminently satisfying. The place is unpretentious but the food was tasty and the value for price is very high. For what it aims at, 5 stars for sure.“
“Wow. Overwhelming huge and gigantic vegan and vegetarian menu. Best and most authentic Asian food I've had in the USA. BEST. Dishes are labeled when they come out, and placed on a giant turntable to share with everyone. Also meat, fish, you name it. Place your own order and wait for the fun to arrive! Got the tofu spinach dumpling starter, fried General Stop tofu, fried eggplant with basil (my favorite) and okra, and jalapeno bok choi. STUFFED. Bring friends, bring Tupperware!!Vegetarian options: Giant GIANT dedicated vegetarian menu!!“
“The food area is always clean and a the food is always kept fresh. There is always a good variety of food choices. The only thing I dislike is their chicken noodle soup. You are never made to feel like you have to rush through your food. Prices have raised a bit but not as much as McDonald's and fast foods have risen.Parking: Large free parking lotKid-friendliness: Plenty for kids to eat... even pizza!“
“Worth the read, but short answer 10/10 absolutely recommend! Fantastic Food, Large Portions, excellent price! Today, the employees at Signarama had a lunch celebration and had the opportunity to try Auntie Lee's for the first time. The menu consisted of various dishes such as Pork Xiao Long Bao, Tianjin Pork Meat Bun, Crab Rangoon, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli, General Tso's Chicken, Pork Egg Rolls, and the House Special Lo Mein. Since Auntie Lee's is not open for lunch, the owner, Kit, kindly delivered our special meal to us. She was extremely friendly and had a positive demeanor. The aroma of the food was so enticing that we couldn't resist starting to fix our plates even before she had left. The taste of the food exceeded our expectations. Each dish was packed with flavor and was truly enjoyable. The Tianjin Pork, a large stuffed dough with pork, was perfectly cooked and flavorful. We also had a veggie version, but it was quickly devoured by others before I could try it. The General Tso's Chicken had a delightful blend of spice and flavor. Although I tend to avoid spicy food, I managed to have a small taste. It was good, but a bit too spicy for my personal preference. However, my coworkers raved about it and unanimously agreed that it was the most flavorful General Tso's Chicken they had ever had, giving it a perfect rating of 10/10. The House Special Lo Mein was a major hit among the employees. It was tender and packed with shrimp, chicken, and beef, making it a satisfying dish. Normally, I avoid sweet and sour chicken due to the imbalance of meat and breading. However, Auntie Lee's version was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet or sour, and the chicken was of excellent quality. The pork egg rolls were substantial in size and filled with a generous amount of vegetables and pork. They were truly enjoyable. Now, onto my personal favorite, the Crab Rangoon. I am usually very particular about Crab Rangoon, but I must say, Auntie Lee's has the best one in Champaign. Instead of the traditional roll shape, Kit folds it to resemble a crab, resulting in a more generously packed filling. I was in heaven while devouring it. If you haven't tried Auntie Lee's, we highly recommend that you make a visit. They are open until 1am and offer various options such as online ordering, dine-in, takeout, and delivery. You won't regret indulging in a meal from Auntie Lee's. Once again, we extend our gratitude to Kit for making Signarama's day truly amazing with her delicious food. Additionally, it is worth noting that the portions are quite generous, and the pictures I am sharing were taken after several people had already served themselves. Absolutely delicious!“
“My guilty pleasure is Americanized Chinese food. This place has great combo plates for an affordable price! We ordered the sesame chicken, general tso chicken, chicken lo mein, and salt and pepper squid! Food was made quickly and it was good. Owners were so nice and included egg rolls and donuts in our order! Will definitely come back and also try the more traditional Chinese dishes.“
“We tried the mapo tofu, dry chili chicken and the salted egg yolk tofu. Everything was delicious and fresh! The mapo tofu was our favorite and had a good amount of spice, as did the chicken. Would definitely come back to try more dishes!! Portion sizes are quite reasonable as well, definitely give it a try if you’re looking for solid Chinese food!!“
“The best buffet, hidden away in champaign county. It's always delicious and hot; and every few months they have a new item added to their buffet line. The staff is really nice and attentive, everyone is always checking the food, cleaning/preparing silverware, and they never leave your glass empty. My only concern is the decaying decor of the resturaunts interior. Plenty of windows for natural light but the carpet and walls and dull and outdated, it almost seems purposeful to make the food stand out a bit more.. I'll be eating here again soon.“
“One of my favorite noodle places in CU -- definitely a underrated and kind-of hidden restaurant! I like their soupy noodles more than dry noodles, but will still happily eat both. I've also gotten their lunch specials with rice (changes daily) and it is so worth it. Food is large portions and tastes authentic! Every time I come here, there are so many international friends so you can tell this place hits home!!“
“This is a great spot for quick and delicious food on campus. It's authentic and cost efficient. If you want to have a nicer sit down meal, this is also a great place though too. The owners are really nice and friendly, and definitely can recommend food if you need help. The restaurant is large and has upstairs seating too. Overall, this is a staple Chinese restaurant in the community.“
“Delicious and the price was reasonable. My family enjoyed.Update: I was there again, ordered shrimp plus more. The batter inside the curved part of the shrimp was not cooked. I was going to tell them but my daughter didn’t even want to talk. We just left.Update a year later: my daughter took my son in law’s parents here. Because they liked Chinese food. She said the food was a lot better than before, maybe a new cook had arrived.“
“We came during a busy Sunday, a line started to form out the door and they had a bunch of online orders. According to one of the employees talking with another customer the manager is out on vacation, and most employees don’t work weekends. They were holding it down during an extremely stressful situation, and while I commend and very much appreciate that. I hope management looks into hiring people that can work weekends to make their staff a LOT less stressed out.“
“As a vegan, there are limited options. But the options they do offer are excellent in quality and freshness. I highly recommend the veg lo mein. I always request that they add tofu. Delish! I also love their crispy tofu - you will find it in the appetizer section. Make it a large and order a side of rice and you have an entree. They have plenty of veggie dishes, all of high quality. What I would love to see is for them to offer a vegan eggplant dish, orange tofu, and also maybe, if they really want to stand out from other area Chinese restaurants, introduce seitan "meat" where they can use that to substitute for the real meat in their meat based entrees, just as long as the sauces are vegan. Lastly, their prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are generous.“
“Had a great meal tonight from Super Wok. Egg rolls were exceptionally good tonight. Food was delivered by Door Dash. It was hot and on time. Both of our meals were really good. I had Egg foo young and my wife had sweet and sour chicken. Would order again in a minute.“
“Quick service, covid friendly pick up, food has always been cooked properly. Been getting food from here for over 6 years as a dinner treat when I don't want to cook. Get a lot of food for the price, which is great to make several meals out of. Sorry no photos this time, food is already deliciously eaten.“
“Have eaten here for many years. Never been disappointed. The staff is fast, friendly and always serve hot amazing food! The last two trips were ordered on DoorDash, I did a pickup. Just park and call, they come right out. I usually get kung Po chicken which is excellent, or generals chicken- hard choice both are fantastic. But best of all, they have the best egg rolls in town!“
“When people ask me what are my favorite restaurants the CU area, Shiquan is one of them! I could come here to just eat bowls and bowls of wontons with friends! My favorite wontons are mapo, green pepper, and hot chili oil wontons. My second favorite item is the sliced spicy pork belly dish! When you arrive, you scan the menu from your phone and order at your table. The food comes out relatively quickly. The max number of people I've come with is 6, so if you have a party of more than 6 you might have to split up into smaller tables.“
“Great for lunch, if you can pick it up. Nice combos and affordable. For dinner, it's pricey and unless you spring for the large portions are on the small side. Delivery fee is over the top expensive, almost like they really don't want to bring you their food.“
