“This is by far the WORST service I've ever got from a Wingstop. They gave me the wrong order. I called to advise them of the issue and was put in hold. The GM answered ( no one ever told me I was being transferred nor did I ask for a manager) he was so Rude and has zero customer service skills he should be fired. He told me I could come get it ( no way to do that) so i asked for a refund. He said ok and hung up in my face. I called back to ensure it was processed and he said very rude that it was processed. I asked him for the order number and his name and he told me I don't need his name, he didn't have the order number and that I was entitled and he hung up in my face again. I'm beyond disappointed and feel disrespected by the GM who is supposed to represent your brand. Sad to say I'll never choose to spend my money here again and it's all because of the GM onsite 5/31 @ 12pm . “Greetings my Foodzies, tonight we decided to try a restaurant that we have passed by numerous times. The great escape on Irving at 9540 w Irving Park rd. in Schiller Park.
This is a unique restaurant that has been around for years. The property has a rich history (see the picture I have posted with the story).
The restaurant’s bar area is very rustic with a bar that was hand carved in 1889, very impressive. TVs have been added to draw in a people who want to eat and have a drink while watching TV. Also a gaming section in the bar area.
Music is old school 50-60s, our server Mareen was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable.
We started with Grilled Calamari it was grilled nicely but could have used a few more seconds to get a little more char flavor. It was also missing the signature balsamic. Glenda chose the Rigatoni in Vodka sauce with chicken; the chicken was scarce and the sauce was not the traditional sauce it had an odd flavor, not terrible but not what we expected. With a cup of lentil soup, tasty but needed a little extra salt. I chose the baby back ribs and broasted chicken (these dishes they are known for) the chicken was very good, crispy skin and very juicy. The ribs were tender but a little dry. The BBQ sauce was the recipe is the recipe of the owner’s grandfather. It was a Kansas City type sweet sauce with a nice smoky flavor (as a first time patron we were given a bottle to take home). I had the baked French onion soup topped with mozzarella, I’m used to Gruyere, Swiss, or Gouda but ut was very good.

“This is not just your average bar. This is THEE Horseshoe Inn not just the horseshoe inn. There's a difference... This place has and is the epitome of history and mystery!! It's a place full of locals that you can only find here!! It's got a fascinating back story and a ton of not just local history but Chicago history.! This is one of the places that the Irish Mafia used to hang out in!!! A place where the murder mystery is alive and unsolved!!! You come to a place like this and you can feel the history, feel it in your soul!! You want to check this place out!!! Ask anyone here about the history and they will tell you straight out!! Are you in the mood for a drink??? Get it here!! Are you in the mood for a quick bite?? Well you can get it here too along with a nice fresh tap or bottle of what ever beer you like!!! So let me tell you that if you are a ghost hunter?? You can find some ghosts here!! Are you a ghost buster?? Don't come here because they like their ghosts!! I hope this helps!! “I go to Cafe Mirage every time I visit Chicago, after it was recommended to me by friends who had already been there. In April and May this year, I was there several times. There is a nice atmosphere inside and especially outside. The hygiene is at a high level, the food is very tasty, and the staff is pleasant and kind. Drinks were good as well.I absolutely loved it . Can't wait to go back.”
