“We visited this Ruth's Chris for a birthday meal for my wife. From a great very comfortably quiet booth table in the far corner, to our knowledgeable server, Kara, to a great filet/shrimp dinner, we totally enjoyed our visit and will definitely return.“

“I enjoyed the Escargot, Oyster Rockefeller, three cheese potatoes, Mac and Cheese, an the cocktails. Steaks looked great and large enough to share. But the most important item was the bar service staff! They were amazing! I recommend anyone going!“

Like bro...who talks in 3rd person about fishing with your bros? Not even the tasty Moscow mule could fix it. Pretty sure he even told me 6 times about his crypto coins. “Loved revisiting after 6 years away. The atmosphere was hectic and a bit loud on a busy Friday night, but as it got later into the evening, most of the big family/friend groups left, and we had a delicious intimate meal. The waiter was attentive and realized we wanted a slow, relaxing meal and followed our lead. Scallop appetizer, soups, and steaks were amazing. Did not care for the potatoes au gratin, which is a dish I usually love and was looking forward to. It had no flavor and almost tasted plastic. Our waiter brought me the mac and cheese, which had more flavor, and I happily finished. We have already decided to go back again in the fall and not let another 6 years go by until we visit again.“

“Loved the atmosphere, the service was on point and the food was great! I enjoyed the filter oscar and the not so dark and stormy. My bf had the medallion trio and an old fashioned. He loved it. Calamari was cris, y and the marinara sauce was out standi. The rolls were good too! Definitely will be returning.“

“We chose Chicago Prime Steakhouse because it was the independent Prime Steakhouse amidst the three other well known national chain prime steakhouses and they served Prime Rib. We opened the door to the restaurant and karaoke music from the bar was blasting through the restaurant's reception. The restaurant, like the bar, are both located off the main reception. We were seated in the dining room near reception and the bar music was so loud we could not have a conversation. We asked to be moved to the far end of the restaurant and the host graciously made the change. The restaurant is well appointed with white table clothes, cutlery, stemware and candlelight. The dining room has a dramatic low hanging light fixture over the large center dining table adding to the sense of occasion. We ordered the prime rib and ten ounce filet with cream spinach and baked potato as sides. All entrees come with a house salad and choice of dressing. The side salads were crisp and fresh with a lovely homemade blue cheese dressing. The prime rib and filet were excellent and prepared to order. The sides were served piping hot. Salads, mains, and sides were all beautifully served, executed well and delicious. The servers were very professional and appropriately warm and friendly for a fine dining experience. The only missed opportunity was to offer the pepper mill, that was standing nearby on the sideboard, immediately after the serving of the salads and then again when the mains and sides were served. Sadly, the loud karaoke music played over the ambient background music in the dining room detracting from the dining experience. The bar and restaurant are supported well by local patrons that didn't seem to mind the loud music and singing in the restaurant so perhaps it is us that is out of step with fine dining expectations from Chicago Prime Steakhouse. We will come again but call ahead first to see if it is loud singing in the bar night.“

“I love this place. We come here once a month. Today my porterhouse was over cooked and without even hesitating the manager Cory had a new steak cook to perfection for me, and was able to enjoy my dinner with everyone else at my table. It's nice to see establishments still going above and beyond to ensure the customer is happy when they leave.We will be back!Thanks again...“

“One of the best restaurants I’ve been to I’m my entire life. My brother had a terminal illness and the food here was so good it was his last wish before he passed. Luckily after we ate the food a miracle happened and he was cured! I’m so happy right now 10/10, this place will always hold a place in my heart.“

“The service was fantastic I had the shrimp and the steak. My food was very fresh and the service was fantastic. I have even greater things to say about the bread! But before i talk about how great it is let me talk about the care I got! My waitresses name was Becca and she was exceptional! She made sure to take care of my daughter but in a way that you wouldn’t expect! She went above and beyond for my daughter and didn’t even mind the mess she left behind. 10/10 would recommend this franchise to anybody who loves steak!! Their other meals are most definitely delicious I’m just a big steak fan. When you go to restaurants you don’t expect to receive the great service that my waitress had gave us. “With a reservation on a Sundsy night, we were seated immediately. The food was outstanding. The gaucho's came around very often. The waitress who took care of our table, was very very slow. She only checked on us one time. I had to wave her down to get my check and had to wave her down to pay the check. When i mentioned to the manager on duty thst i was disappointed with thr service, he acted somewhat put out that i had a complaint and told me next time to ask for a manager sooner.“

“This was a great evening at a wonderful restaurant Jameson's Char House. Two of us had the macadamia sea bass and it was so excellent. It was tender and flavorful. The dinner was served with soup, salad and potatoes. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.“
