“I love going here, very personable, poliet, food and service is excellent. This is my highlight for travelling to Springfield. It is a soulfood place and the walley fish, sweet potatoes, mac n cheese and greens and sweet tea my favorite. All of their food is excellent and and their sweet potatoe pie that the Mom make, i ate my piece and hers. I tried not to do it. Try them when in springfield, they close at 3pm and uaually not open on the weekends but if you get a group they will open for you. Give them a try.“
“I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and all of it has great flavor. Food and drinks are fairly priced and portion sizes are generous. The stuffed salmon, which is part of their lunch special, is my favorite. Delicious as are the egg rolls. Not sure if he’s still there but Chef Ray deserves an award. Bartender Darcey concocts a new Shot of the Month flavor each month, and drink specials/events are a constant. Also, the concept of swings at the bar is unlike any other restaurant in Springfield! “First time going, We celebrated our 38th Anniversary here! The food was amazing we ordered appetizers drunken shrimp, over the border egg rolls! We dranked some wine, & champagne. Ordered our meal steaks were awesome I also ordered salmon everything seasoned so well I didn’t even need salt nor pepper! Kaleah was our waitress she was truly pleasant explained things to us! We will be back, thank you so much for a special evening!“
“We were in town from Indianapolis... wanting a great meal. Joseph's delivered!!! For starters, the manager saw to it to find us table... thank you!! Next... for appetizers, my husband and I sampled the Crunch Salad, and the Lobster Bisque (AMAZING!) Then for our entree's, he had the Pork Chop with apple butter glaze... I had the Fried Chicken. The chicken was the BEST we have probably ever had!! EVERYTHING WAS STELLAR!!! Our service was as great as the food! If I could give ten stars, I would!! Applause! Applause!! We will return when back in Springfield!!“
