“Very impressed with their customer service! We came late after a concert and they still cooked our food to go. Had a drink while waiting, it was really good. Played a few slots as well. Really a cool place! Once we got home we ate our food. WOW. Everything was amazing. We got chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, wings, and fried mushrooms. We will gladly come again! Thank you to the bartender and cook for being so welcoming and giving the best customer service I've had in a very long time! 5 stars!“
“Looking for a dive bar with cheap drinks? This is it! Bloody Mary bar today added to the fun. It's a cute bar with great bartenders. We didn't eat so I can't speak for the food though. Next to the bar is another building/patio with a stage for bands to play. It's more of an open air area but in the winter they heat it and close it up. Now in Illinois this means they can still smoke there. If you don't mind the old Smokey bar feel it's great. You can always go in the main building where there's no smoking if you don't want to be around that. I think in the summer it would be a great hangout! We really enjoyed catching up with some friends and if in town would go again.“
“I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and all of it has great flavor. Food and drinks are fairly priced and portion sizes are generous. The stuffed salmon, which is part of their lunch special, is my favorite. Delicious as are the egg rolls. Not sure if he’s still there but Chef Ray deserves an award. Bartender Darcey concocts a new Shot of the Month flavor each month, and drink specials/events are a constant. Also, the concept of swings at the bar is unlike any other restaurant in Springfield! “i called in my lunch order - cajun chicken alfredo w/ an extra side of alfredo sauce...it's been a while since i've had it, but i remember i've always needed more alfredo...this time there was even less sauce than before, hence the 4 stars...but it was good & hot, hit the spot...im sure i will return and i do recommend it!“
“I was in town visiting a loved one at a hospital and ordered pizza, fish tacos, and a side salad through GrubHub. GH ended up delivering just the fish tacos and side salad but forgot the pizza. Brewski's noticed GH forgot the pizza with my order and called me to ask where I was and they drove it right over to the hospital to me! It really made my night! The food we ordered was all great!“
“Our waitress was absolutely amazing! Going to grab food with a toddler in tow is always a gamble. Our waitress was super sweet and interactive with my daughter. Grabbed her some crackers to help keep her occupied till our food got there. Gave her high fives and fist bumps every time she walked by or came to table. It was pretty awesome, thank you!! Oh and the food was great! Food came pretty quickly and was hot.“
“I've only ever really gone to this place for lunch, and most of the time It's very good. Unfortunately, they suffer from the same thing that every bar suffers from and that is a high turnover of their cooks. The one thing that doesn't appear to change is the quality of the food that they at least start cooking. They probably have one of the best hamburgers in Springfield. I would much rather go here than any fast food restaurant and pay almost the exact same amount. The bartenders have always been friendly and it's always clean. I would definitely recommend you check this place out if you're wanting a relatively fast tasty lunch at a good price.“
“We stopped in after some friends suggested this place. It was well worth the visit. Horshoe was delicious and the building was very interesting. We sat next to a coyote that seemed at any moment as if it were going to eat off our plates. Definitely will go back when in town again.“
