“It kind of reminds me of the takeout from where I grew up in Ny. Red pork. It's small, but to me, it makes all the difference. The quality is great, the quantity is right, and the ability to add lomein or extra meat to a combo is next level. I come from Bolingbrook. The family who runs the place are kind and good at what they do. Support a local family. You will not be sorry.“
“My wife and I visited Bombay her birthday weekend and when I tell you, they exceeded our expectations.. The Buffett was amazing and varieties they had arranged were amazingly good.. the server Carvalho was a wonderful server/host and his knowledge of the food we tried was remarkable...Our first Indian food experience and we will be back...“
“Update 4/7/24It’s been like a year since I was last here but we decided to give it a try again. We came here for a late lunch. It’s located in a small outlet, so parking can be limited since it’s shared. They do have some places to sit and eat but it’s limited especially during peak hours. When we came in, we practically had the whole place to ourselves. I believe it’s family owned and the owners are very nice and attentive. They have one gender neutral bathroom. We ordered stir fried lamb with onions, sweet and sour pork with pineapple, and shrimp, chive, and egg dumplings. Portion sizes are very generous and prices are reasonable.-stir fried lamb with onions 5 - lamb meat is very tender, requires very little chewing.-sweet and sour pork with pineapple 5 - most Americanized Chinese places, the pork would be soggy, but here the skin is very crispy. Pork inside is succulent.-shrimp, chive, and egg dumplings 5 - I really liked how they listened to my feedback from last time and added more moisture inside. They were definitely juicier and tastier than before. Skin is thin, good sized dumplings, and flavorful.Rating is 4No, the owners have not changed. I recommend getting dishes that are not the typical Americanized Chinese dishes like mongolian beef. Try something new and different.Dumplings I would give 4/5. I’ve tried several different kinds but they could be juicier. They have good flavor, just a little dry. I’ve tried shrimp, chive, and egg, beef onion, lamb carrot, and chicken and cabbage mushroom.Scallion pancake was too dry for me. It could use more flavor.Quick fried sauteed intestines were very tasty. I really like this dish.Shredded pork dishes were good. Spicy is really spicy. Shredded pork is not dry, is moist and just a little chew.Portions are generous. Service is good, they take care of their customers. Prices are fair for all the food you’re getting.“
“Visiting J’s was a delightful experience ! The food was bursting with flavor and made with care. They owners are not Muslim but everything they serve is completely Halal, it's wonderful to support such a welcoming and inclusive place. The staff were friendly, and the ambiance was inviting. Don't miss out on trying their Sichuan Wontons in spicy broth… it was so good that we even took two orders to go with us“
“Alright, so I've gotta spread the word about Xi'an Cuisine. I've been grabbing takeout from here several times and, let me tell you, it's consistently awesome every single time. There's something about opening that takeout box and getting hit with the smell of hot, fresh food that just makes my day.The flavors here? Absolutely amazing. It's like each dish has its own little flavor party going on, and trust me, your taste buds are definitely invited. Whether it's a spicy kick or a subtle, savory blend, these guys know what they're doing. It's the kind of food that makes you pause mid-bite and go, 'Wow, that's good.'And the best part? It's just down the road. I mean, sure, I could try other places, but why mess with perfection? It's gotten to the point where I'm like, 'Why would I go anywhere else when I've got this gem right here?'If you're in the area and haven't tried Xi'an Cuisine yet, do yourself a favor and give it a go. Whether you're a regular takeout connoisseur or just looking for a new spot to try, this place won't disappoint. Trust me, your future self will thank you.“
“First time here. Pictures looked really good online. You absolutely have to come try out the food here. I got the lemongrass beef! Great portion size, but the taste is sooooooo good! The beef was tender and juicy. I almost forgot my manners is tasted so good! My new favorite spot!!!“
“Very filling portions and super affordable prices. For $13 I would this (a small size) with a nice side of white rice and spicy chili oil on the side. I definitely will be retuning because it’s so flavorful without being overly saucy or greasy.Parking: Plenty spacious parking.“
“If you're craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine in downtown Wheaton, look no further than this charming family-owned restaurant. The staff's warmth and attentiveness enhance the dining experience, making you feel right at home. Their soups and pho are nothing short of amazing, delivering rich flavors that transport you to the streets of Hanoi. However, it's worth noting that prices here are a bit on the higher side. But for the quality of food and service you receive, it's a worthwhile indulgence for any Vietnamese food enthusiast.“
“Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“
“I haven't had Chinese takeout like this since I moved out of the city. So happy I decided to try it despite crummy reviews. So I have to give some updated feedback. Can't speak to ambiance as I ordered for delivery. Food was fresh and tasty. It's not gourmet, but food is not too greasy and well balanced flavor wise. The crab rangoon are popcorn pop-able delicious which is different in a good way. The egg rolls are not giant like you see at some places, but they are crispy and well balanced with flavors instead of being overstuffed with watery cabbage like is so common in many places. Similarly with the fried shrimp they appear smaller but are not over-battered. The pork fried rice is full of flavor and not fatty. You get a choice of thin or thick noodles for lo mein. I went for the thin and they are super skinny like Singapore noodle style. So delicious. I ordered simple basics to test it out but based on my experience today I will be exploring the menu more.“
“Lu’s was recommended and we couldn’t be more pleased. A great choice and nothing disappointed. Crab Rangoon was delicious, pot stickers were dense and fill of flavor and the Mongolian beef simply the best I have ever had. There was a sweetness to the gravy and I can’t wait to have leftovers today.“
“This place never fails to provide great food and a huge selection of choices. Their Dim Sum is one of the best in Chicago and means you don't have to go to Chinatown to get great Chinese food. Too many dishes to mention, but I'm sure you will be thrilled with any choice you make.“
“We went here for the first time expecting it to be a sushi place - but it's not. It's sit down Chinese - and very good too! Was a pleasant surprise! The Orange Chicken tastes like orange! The almond chicken was perfectly velveted. The lo mein was delicious and satisfying.Service was a little spotty. We had to remind them to take a drink order and they seemed a little confused when we did that. They seemed to forget about us at the end of the meal as well - sat there for a while waiting to get a check. The place was clean, cozy, quiet, and comfortable. Great for a date night. We are totally going back.“
“This place has a fairly extensive menu, with a wide variety of dishes for all tastes (rice, chicken, fish, beef, pork, vegetables). The atmosphere is very pleasant with a decoration quite typical of a Chinese restaurant. As for the food, it has a great flavor, we ordered rice with shrimp (good quantity) and a dish of sweet and sour beef with vegetables, both dishes were delicious and three people ate perfectly with these two dishes. I recommend it ?.“
“Nice place. It's bigger that what the storefront would suggest.Quite a large selection of Canton, Hunan, Mongolian and Szechwan dishes. They also carry a wide selection of Sushi dishes, which I do not eat.Beer selection is pretty much Asian brews. The wine list is rather limited. If you go here, it is for the food, which is quite tasty.“
“Its amazing how quick people leave only bad reviews over the smallest complaints. This place is the best and the prices are not bad at all. Whether its take out or dine in. The food is always fresh and hot! This is some of my favorite fried rice and chicken dishes around! This place has been around and theres a reason for that. Try it for yourself.“
“We love a good chinese restaurant. We try them all. This one is a drive from us but we were in the area. We came with a couple kids that we didn't know if they would eat. Luckily, the food was so good, even picky eaters dug in. The egg rolls were top notch to start and they have some of the best hot and sour soup. Egg drop soup was also great but I might skip the wonton soup. The chicken fried rice was so excellent, it could have been my meal, but we ate family style with the family meal deal they have. The deal is too good to pass up. The sweet and sour chicken, general tzo's, sesame chicken were all great but I found the green beans with beef to be cravable. Also my daughter got chicken egg foo yung and thought it was ok, but I thought it was excellent. Service wasn't the fastest, but we were not in a hurry. And the server was so nice that I couldn't complain. And i love a place with lots of room and you can sit and eat and not feel rushed. The decor is what you would expect and it was cute. Can't wait to come back! I want a crab rangoon.“
“Been a fan of East China Inn for a great many years. Most often it's for takeout. Today, decided to dine in for lunch. As always, the service was quick and very friendly. Menu options are vast, but also has everyone favorites.Food was quickly made, great temperature, and tasted GREAT.There are lots of Chinese food options out there. For us, we keep coming back to East China Inn.It's worth a visit!“
“The environment is so peaceful, extremely clean, staff is pleasant. The rooms are large with plenty of seating for party of ten, love the YouTube unlimited access, sound system was flawless. The food was fresh & delicious and those who had drinks truly enjoyed them☺️. Hourly increments was just right Looking forward to returning soon“
“Tonight was our first time dining at 8000 miles and to say we were impressed would be an understatement! The food was great and some of the best we've had in a long time! We had amazing service from Yan Yan! She was attentive and made great suggestions! We will be back! Highly recommend the sesame chicken and pineapple cashew fried rice!“
“Twin Dragon's has the best chinese food in the area, much better than Ye's which is right accross the street. Their dinner specials are very generously portioned for the price. I have tried many different entrees and everything has always been delicious, my personal favorites being the Orange Chicken and Mongolian Beef. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming.“
“My new favorite restaurant ? service is good a bit awkward to the teenager who was in the front cause he keep staring us whileeating ??But we proceed enjoying our meal and had a family dinner. We order the New hong-kong fried rice, salt and pepper shrimp (NO SHELLS), and this beef with crispy noodles on it. My favorite of the most.? but unfortunately we forgot to take pictures of the fried rice due to my kids is starving and cannot wait to eat ??“
“i can’t even put into words the way this food made me feel. i came in expecting a nice bite to eat but i came out a new person. since i had the very affordable yet delicious food for the first time, i have started many charities building wells in africa with the extra money. i could not recommend more for anyone looking for their place in life“
“They had a new waitress that took us in at 8 pm and we didn't realize they were closed. The nice lady still took our order and was super kind enough to keep the place open. Unfortunately due to some family emergency, my husband had to leave and pick up his mother and I was left there, the lady that took our order, I think she was the owner herself, she made me feel comfortable and when I had asked if I could pay now and take the food to go, she was EXTREMELY kind to help me pack up and get checked out. She kept apologizing like it was her fault she was TOO kind. We will be back soon during restaurant hours.Dietary restrictions: They have plenty of vegetarian options and gluten free as well.“
“We've tried and 10 different Chinese places in the western suburbs. Definitely not all of them, but we've yet to find a place that stacks up against Peking. Throughout the years, they've stayed at the top of the list for the category of "cheap Chinese food". The food is fresh, crispy, flavorful, and plentiful. The service is always warm and friendly. The location is a bit dingy, but it's a takeout place anyway.“
“Good! If you haven't tried it give it a try. My favorite is the deep fried tofu with chilis, and their vegetable dishes are good too (I have had the string beans, as well as the eggplant several times. It focuses on take-out, but you can eat in the food court area.“
“I've visited Happy Lamb where I live in Houston, and the experience was the same. The quality of food was good. I'm just not a fan of the broth selections. I feel as though they're not flavorful enough. I frequent a restaurant here in Houston called Volcano Hot Pot, and their soup broth is insane! Idk if it's because it's Korean inspired or what. The service was great as well as the atmosphere. I would visit again if it's winter and I'm in town and want to hot pot.“
“Don’t order online for delivery! The system accepts the order 40 minutes before closing, then cancels it 20 minutes later when it’s too late to order from somewhere else instead.Best to pick up, then it’s awesome. Don’t forget about the cash discount / card surcharge!“
“This eatery is a culinary gem that whispers the secrets of Taiwan through its dishes. The mastermind behind this authentic Taiwanese kitchen? A chef who once commanded the kitchen of a high-end establishment, now pouring her expertise into a space that humbly masquerades as a food court. Yet, the simplicity of the setting belies the extraordinary flavors that await. Among the myriad of dishes, the Taiwanese Pork Chop Bento stands as my personal favorite. Accompanied by an ensemble of side dishes and rice, the pork chop is marinated to perfection, it’s juicy, bursting with flavors that are both bold and comforting. Here, the pork chop transcends its humble origins, rivaling, if not surpassing, its counterparts back in Taiwan. Why, you ask? The sheer generosity of the portion amplifies the experience, each bite more satisfying than the last. Sometimes, more is indeed more. For those in pursuit of the quintessence of Taiwanese cuisine, look no further. This unassuming spot in Naperville, devoid of any pretense of ambiance, is where your quest concludes. This is a culinary narrative, rich and unfiltered. In the pages of this food court’s menu, you’ll find authenticity that’s rare, flavors that speak of the distant island of Taiwan, and a reminder that the essence of a place can often be found in the most unexpected locations.“
“The Chinese place we frequented before closed years ago and we have been looking for a replacement. Chinese Ho is right down the road, so we gave it a chance. We all thought the food was very good and the service was pretty quick. We will go back and order some new things.“
“Delicious ? Chinese food. Hot n sour soup especially delish. Pot stickers, egg rolls take your pick all very good. For a main course twice cooked pork broccoli ? and beef are my favorites but all are very good!Carry out only and cash ? only. So call up and order today or “
“I loved the vibe as soon as I walked in. It is authentic and homey. I love the decor, its not too cold either. I tried the Lychee Strawberry Green Tea with Heart Jelly and Rainbow Jelly. The tea was a bit and it was definitely a sweeter drink, but I loved it. The jelly isn’t too firm, like some other places, it was perfectly balanced. Not too much ice, but also cold all the way through. Very delicious! Sweet staff! Great conversation!“
“Since New Wok hasn't reopened and prices at House of Emperor have slowly been raised thru the roof, we tried here and got 4 dishes we have ordered at many Chinese take out places or even in Chinatown. Here we go: Chicken Chop Suey-excellent! Sauce is tasty, plenty of bean sprouts and pea pods, good amount of tender chicken, trimmed nicely of any fat. Beef Fried Rice-very good. Although it had yellow onion instead of the more normal green onion, and scrambled egg was kinda sparse. Still very good. Beef With Broccoli-would have also been excellent except it had sweetness, I have always hated sugar added to my Americanized Chinese food. BBQ Pork Egg Foo Yung-same comment as the beef with broccoli. The gravy for the egg foo was VERY sweet. Too sweet for me! The only option is large which is 3 paddys not the usual 4. I think without the sugar it would have been very good. Purely take out here, it was obvious they used to have a sit down business at some point but not now. Extensive menu, see their website and either phone order or online order.“
“This was our first time eating at this restaurant, and it was DELICIOUS! We had the Crab Rangoon, General Tso Chicken, Teriyaki Beef Sticks and the Hawaiian Fried Rice. I have to say, everything was done so well. The meat was tender and juicy with lots of flavor, and the Hawaiian Fried Rice was quite a surprise. When our waiter brought it to the table, the presentation was awesome! They cut a pineapple in half, and cut out the flesh to then stir fry it in with the other ingredients, and then put the stir fry back into the shell. Spectacular! Our server was very pleasant and attentive to our needs, and the decor was quite nice. They can accommodate 1- 6+ groups of people. Bravo! Job well done Chamber Red! We'll be back for sure!“
“I can never say enough about Chinese Kitchen in Naperville. I’ve been enjoying their food and service for so many years. They’re consistently great food and genuinely helpful/kind/thoughtful/friendly….staff are excellent!!! Thank you, thank you & thank you. I LOVE Chinese Kitchen “
“8/2023 5* First time here. Made it in time for a lunchtime special pricing. That was helpful. Very, very full portion. I was highly impressed by the portion size! Taste was pretty good. I enjoyed my meal and enough for a second lunch as well.Parking: Plenty of near by parking“
“The roast duck, with its skin so impossibly crisp, it shatters like glass under the slightest pressure, revealing the succulent, spice-infused meat beneath. Dipped in a sweet plum sauce, a piece of Cantonese heritage on a plate. Then comes the char siu, that iconic Cantonese barbecue pork, its edges charred to perfection, the meat tender, almost sinful in its juiciness. The marinade, a complex blend of honey, soy, and fermented tofu, clings to each slice, a sticky alchemy of Cantonese cooking. It’s sweet, savory, and utterly addictive, the kind of dish that haunts your dreams, compelling you to return. The Cantonese oil chicken, a masterpiece of simplicity. Poached in a master stock that’s a closely guarded secret, the chicken is impossibly tender, its skin silky, almost translucent. Served with a side of ginger scallion oil, it’s a dish that balances the richness of the meat with the brightness of fresh herbs, the simplest flavors are the most profound. Sitting here, chopsticks in hand, surrounded by the clatter of plates and the murmur of satisfied diners, I'm struck by the depth of flavor, the craftsmanship, and the sheer joy that is Cantonese barbecue. It's an experience, a journey through the heart of Cantonese culture, and one that I'd walk a thousand miles to taste again.“
“For the same price as its competitors in the area you get a better menu, better utensils, and a rolling cart to store meat and used plates. Great service great food, shoutouts to Quinton the GOAT he said my hair was nice and offered amazing service across the board “
“Small restaurant but good food. Most customers opted for takeout, as the restaurant itself isn't anything special. We decided to eat there and waited awhile for the soups, but that gave me the impression they made them per order, and the taste pretty much confirmed it. The chicken egg foo young was tasty and fresh. The large portion came with four sizeable pieces with rice. Two pieces were enough to fill me up. The owner was friendly and personable, even through her broken English It's definitely nice to support small businesses, and I recommend this for anyone craving fast casual Chinese.“
“the chinese food that keep on giving lolits always pack here!! i guess everyone love some chieses! doesnt matter if its lunch or dinner time you always see a line here, sometime i feel bad for the other place next to them lolwe always order the beef noodles, veggie and the seafood crispy noodels, all largethe only complaint probably is their credit card fee. its been awhile for covid, probably time to stop charging customers using credit card lolPs. It's food court!Vegetarian options: A few selectionDietary restrictions: U be fine as long as u let them knowParking: Shared lotKid-friendliness: Kid love their foodWheelchair accessibility: Front door automatic“
“Had a nice lunch here with a friend. Nice clean restaurant with friendly staff. The food was really good and hot. Had a nice time.Parking: Restaurant is located in a strip mall and at peak times it can be hard to find a parking spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking, tables and restrooms“
“I walked in during lunch and got the kung pao chicken combo with chicken fried rice. It was ready in just 10 minutes. The portions were very big and the food was very tasty. I eat a lot of chinese food and this was one of the best. I'll be coming back“
“Recently moved here from a couple towns over. Craving Chinese food, wangs garden popped up on yelp, figured a would try it out. This place is great, and the price is awesome. I had to double take in the bill to make sure I ordered everything. Great food, fast service, and great prices.“
“Ordered delivery! First time customer! I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food I received, broccoli shrimp was delicious, no bad aftertaste of antibiotics , very carefully prepared vegetable lo mein , as well as vegetable fried rice all prepared perfectly!my deepest gratitude to the cook! Will order again!!!“
“This place has some of the best Chinese food I have found near Hanover park/streamwood/Bartlett. Mongolian Beef is more traditional (spicy and not sweet, packed with beef, white and green onions and includes the crunchy white noodles). The fried rice with shrimp came with good size shrimp. The crab Rangoon is also packed with filling and you can tell they change their oil frequently. We also enjoyed their beef lo mein and sesame chicken. Their food is not salty, but if you like that add a little salt yourself to bring out a tad more flavor. Don’t plan on dining in, it’s not the greatest atmosphere. It is clean but clearly meant for carry out first.“
“Our favorite Chinese place closed a year ago. We tried so many and were disappointed time and time again. Then we stumbled upon Jin’s. Everyone in the family LOVES their dishes, they are reasonably priced and they are super nice people. We are thrilled to have found a new regular spot for Chinese!!“
“We accidentally ordered take out from this restaurant instead our usual Chinese place...and we never have looked back. We have found something different every time and are not disappointed. My elementary kids love the sesame chicken. We went to the restaurant today and it looks just as good as the food. Try this place out.“
“Such a nice place. The food exceptional and very tasty. The owner / manager didn’t think I would like what I ordered so he recommended something else. Same ingredients. Different spices and sauce and noodles. I loved what he brought me. If your in doubt. Ask him. Tell him what you like. He will make it. Even if not on the menu. The crab Rangoon is amazing fried rice is good. You can add what meats or seafood you like to make it better to your liking. Place lets you sit where you like. And your served personally. Asked if Al was good. And given boxes to bring home leftovers All with a simple smile. Wish they played some music in the background. Really quiet inside the resturant.Parking: Spots aren’t numbered. But lots of place to park. Private lot. Gas station next door. Close to shopping“
“I've been here around 7p today and I personally don't know why people are complaining on that place ;) Everything I ate today was fresh and warm. Food wasn't boiling-hot, but I think it's not the point. I had to cut out one star because of lack of onion rings and the price - $11 bf tax is too much for such place.“
“Epic sigmas feast at this place...heh...if youre a sissy beta you won't enjoy it but heed the alpha's warning this is a top tier dining experience...it felt like I was defending my pack..heh...would try again great...great...Vegetarian options: epicDietary restrictions: epicParking: epicKid-friendliness: epicWheelchair accessibility: epic“
