“This is a favorite local chain of mine that makes legit Nashville hot chicken and serves up southern sweet tea to go with it. You can save the trip to Nashville to get hot chicken and stop in here! The medium spice is savory with a hint of heat and it goes up quick from there! The tenders are a great way to get a variety of heat if you want to sample the levels!“

“Nice little neighborhood place. The hours are odd so you have to check if they are open. I think they close mon-wed. I found this place looking for queso birria tacos. For $15 you get 4 decent sized tacos with the consommé. Great meaty tacos, I'm a big guy and I usually could knock out 8-10 tacos. I could only eat 6 here. The guacamole was big enough for me and my buddy. They have a juice bar inside and we ordered off of the server's recommendation. She recommended a pineapple drink and it was solid. We ended up getting a second order of drinks for the road. They don't have parking but you should be able to find something across the street. Place is clean and the cook wore gloves. I appreciate when a place is clean and people are wearing gloves. The waitress/server was very helpful and had great recommendations. She was easy to talk to since I don't speak Spanish. There was a bunch of online orders and takeout which in my opinion is good. That means there's no old food, they sell it all and buy fresh. Bathrooms were clean. I noticed the table next to me ordered a latte and seen they had an espresso machine. I haven't tried the coffee so I can't talk about the quality. Just that they have an espresso machine. I like this place a lot. Very friendly staff, great food and great amount of food for the price. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you.“

Super clean sitting area with quiet music and television while you wait for your food. I've been there twice already, and will definitely be going back. It'll be one of my regular spots for lunch or dinner.“

The dog only had one small piece of tomato.The fries could have been cooked a bit longer, but they were plentiful.There are about 5 tables and one that runs along the window.The people were friendly and helpful.I will return the next time I'm in the area.Bicycling: The streets are very busy and don't seem bicycle friendly. “Great place for great food. Arguably the best mom and pop shop around. I've gotten to try at least a quarter of the menu and everything Is tasty. They even serve soft serve ice cream! The one thing you can always expect is hot food fresh of the grill or out the fryer!Aside from great food. They also have great service. “If you read any of the reviews for Al's Drive In online, people have a ton of nostalgia for this place. I find nostalgia for a restaurant can play a negative role for those who don't have the association, but that wasn't the case for me who only ate here for the first time today. The Chicago dog and super taco were solid but the combination fried rice was the hero for me. Never thought l'd find this kind of wok hei flavor from a Chicago Red Hots institution in Maywood, IL that would remind me so much of the fried rice I grew up with at my Chinese immigrant family's restaurant in Arizona. Honestly just throw in some bean sprouts and you'd have a 1:1 copy. I may not have the same nostalgia that a lot of the usuals have with Al's, but that familiar taste of home is so present in every bite of this fried rice. I'm immediately transported to teenage me devouring a large combination fried rice at my own family's restaurant after working a full day's 12hr shift in the summer and immediately passing out in my bed when I got home. I wish I had started coming here sooner.“

So far since then I haven't seen much hostility toward the employees unless it's from impatient customers who struggle to comprehend that they're not the only people waiting.Anyways, I've received exceptional service lately. I wish I would've asked for his name.There's also another taller man who has a little stubble and glasses, he always greets me and calls me sir, which is cool because I'm actually transgender and I get a confidence boost each time I see him. “Shwings Catering was phenomenal. We used shwings to cater for my son’s 1st birthday. Aside from the famous shrimp we ordered, sausage and pepper, salads, pasta , and chicken fingers. Everything was delicious, of course the shrimp was a HUGE hit! “Ok, I love this place so much. I came all the way from Denver to eat their delicious food. I got the two for $7.99 hot dog w/ fries special, the hot Italian beef sandwich and I got a Polish dog deep-fried. HOTT DAMN everything was so damn tasty. From the fries to giardiniera that fell off my Italian sandwich. The service was great, more like fun cuz they all you 2 or 3 times what you got so they can make sure they get it right. And it is cheap to eat there. It was less than $25 for all that deliciousness! Mickey's, you have my heart, thank you! I will be back.“

“I went to this place with my family. The burgers were great and the fries were good too. The burgers are easy to bite into and have a good size. The service was great because all toppings were free and extra straws were provided. The ambiance of the place works well because they play nice music outside and it has an older feel to it even though you order outside the place and eat outside because they do not have an eating area. Though the food was a little bit expensive, it's definitely a good place to go to every so often.“
