They were slow to keep the food containers full, so you have to wait for them to bring more food out.The pizza wasn't cut thoroughly, so that slowed up the line while people tried to take pizza from the trays.The food was good, but very slow with the bring more out.“
“Great place and some unique burgers. We gent right at home. I would recommend this place for sure. The Lipsmacker burger is a weird combination that most people would not order. I did not order it, but my wife did. I am glad she did because it was crazy good.“

I go here once, and I LOVE it to the point I would drive all the way from ROCKFORD to go here.I was here for my Grandma’s 63rd birthday, and the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was incredible! So much decorations, and there was even an arcade! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to do anything there. We got our table fast, and staff was great! I ordered the B.Y.O Calzone, and oh my it was godly with the marinara. I was already full and wasn’t even able to finish it! “We had the best late lunch at Public House! Stephanie took SUCH good care of us! She had a beautiful smile for us every time she came to our table with yet more yummy food and fun info about the history of the jailhouse. Both the brussel sprouts and Cesar chicken salad were amazing and their potato soup is outstanding. If you're looking for charm, Woodstock square is the place to go, and, if you're looking for a great meal and a happy staff to serve it to you the The Public House should be on your list of places to eat, drink and be merry!
